The Circle - 3D Web Game! by Nikolaj 2020-10-06T00:16:22Z
Really engaging graphics and fun gameplay! Could be expanded with a difficulty setting? Good job :)

An interesting mechanic well executed - great job!
Really enjoyed this game! Looks great, fun to play, clever take on the theme. If I had a suggestion, it would be to allow the player to remap the controls - sometimes I went to hit "E" on my QWERTY keyboard and ended up restarting the level. Other than that, terrific job!
Fun idea! Thought I had timed a few of them well when they were registering as misses, but overall an enjoyable game - nice work :)
I really enjoyed this one! I can see this type of gameplay being pretty addictive and the presentation of the game is very clean :)
If I had to mention anything that could be improved, it took me a while to realise that I could place solids - I think it's because I didn't read the fix notes above and couldn't find an explanation of the placement mechanic in-game. Maybe it could be added to the instructions on the first level?
Other than that, great work on the game
Nice work on the solo game! Fun mechanic and good art style. Bugs are always expected during a jam so no worries on that front - only issue that may affect playability is the screen size, which crops the game on the HTML version. I'm glad that you've said that you would return to this project - it would be interesting to see this idea expanded upon. Good job :)
A good idea very well executed! The leaderboard is a nice touch too - great work! :)
Had fun playing this game! Maybe you could make the tutorial optional by adding a button on the Level Select to read the instructions? Couldn't process all that information when I first loaded the game, so I had to refresh the game after a while to read it again. Other than that, nice work :)
Fun "Rube Goldberg machine" mechanic and nice aesthetic, especially in the intro - how can I not enjoy a game with magnetised eggs?
Nice work on the short solo game! Only issue I would highlight is that the black screen before the credits were a bit long - made me think the game had broken for a moment! Other than that, everything else was well executed :)
Really like the idea of solving puzzles with your time clones. Visuals are also great :)
Fun concept well executed - I got a score of 6! Bit hard to control - the movement takes a while to build momentum and reach an effective speed. Other than that, great work :)
Good effort for your first try! I would start adding more challenge to the level design and tweak the speed a bit, but overall nice work - congrats on completing the jam :)
Fun game - nice work on the graphics and sound design. If the player was slightly faster, I think I would have been able to avoid some of the less forgiving spike placements.
Overall, good job! :)
Really enjoyed this game! Nice graphics and addictive gameplay - honestly could've kept playing for much longer!
Great work! :)
Wonderful aesthetics, nice gameplay and a clever take on the theme - great job! :)
Challenging game that I found pretty addictive!
Sometimes I thought that the block placement was a bit unforgiving, as there were no real avenues to avoid them. Also, a high score counter would have kept me playing even longer.
Love the voice clips - made the game feel more unique.
Overall, great job! :)
Graphics, sound and gameplay were all brilliant! Also, it figures that the toughest ones to beat are the IT specialists! Excellent game - nice work!
Interesting to see the game randomises the controls on each playthrough - my "left" key was more on the right than the "right" key, so it really had me thinking about my movements! Didn't run into any major bugs, though the ladder-type objects sometimes didn't allow me to go through the top platforms if I wasn't angled properly. Overall, enjoyed the experience - great job! :)
Nice presentation and challenging gameplay!
Having the mouse on the right of the screen when starting a game would result in an immediate game over, as the character starts to move before the terrain can be seen - there could potentially be a three second timer before the game starts?
Overall, a fun experience - nice work! :)
Fun concept :)
The amount of control required to hit the goal made it quite challenging but it felt rewarding to successfully evade the enemies.
@mhorth Thanks for the positive feedback! The backgrounds are actually from royalty free websites I had found - I've linked those websites in the description if you are interested in using them elsewhere.
Also the obstacles are spawned randomly, though I may add something in the future that reduces the likelihood of extended clear spots.
Really enjoyed the angle this game took - great job! :)
A unique spin on the theme! Gameplay was fun, voiceover was a good choice too. Overall, great job!
A simple concept with wonderful execution! Great graphics and handling of the controls. The leaderboard made the game that much more addictive.
Nice work! :)
Unfortunately couldn't run the game - I select "Play" and the objective appears but the menu stays on screen. Looks like others were able to play and enjoy the game, just posting this in case a recent change has caused this bug. Hopefully it's just my set-up
@geo3d Thank you for updating the game - I could run it today! Love the stylistic choices you've made - it really gave the town a more charming aesthetic. Great job! :)
I enjoyed the atmosphere of the game. Also, the enemies felt challenging. I would agree with @2bitcrook that hold-down fire would improve combat. A fun experience - nice work! :)
An interesting concept well executed - good job!
Had a blast (pun intended  )! Well done on your game
