I would love to see a mobile version of that game, I absolutly loved the gameplay idea. And enjoy the british show **8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown** which I got to play, thanks to you.

omg you're making me use my brain here. But seriously this game is simple, effective, and fun enough to keep me engaged for a while. The only thing to keep in mind is responsiveness, since when I first loaded it my screen resolution wasn't high enough to show all of the window. But that's just a minor technical detail. The game itself is great.
uuuuuu good job, i like it
Thanks for the kind words! I'll have to see if I can watch the show Fictions mentioned in Canada, I've been deep into Taskmaster since they've started putting episodes on YouTube ^^
Very creative use of the theme! Although levels with repeated numbers could be cheesed by dividing those numbers by themselves - one of my answers was something like 17 = 17*(7/7)*(23/23)
Brilliant game mechanic! Looks like a fresh puzzle game.
@niterich That's true! But a little cheesing might not be too bad in my opinion? If you feel like it makes a level too easy, maybe the par could be raised instead?
Windows will not let me run this game.Screenshot (361).png
@thulium-games That's... weird. It did that to me with the first build uploaded because it had shortcuts to social media pages in the credits, but I removed that since. Did you just download the game?
@theblondebass I had just downloaded it when I uploaded the screenshot.
@thulium-games Hmm... In case it helps, I've uploaded a new clean build on itch.io. Beyond that, though, I'm a bit clueless as to what could be triggering this on your machine. And I figure deactivating Windows Defender temporarily would be a tad too spicy of a workaround haha.
@theblondebass The new build worked. The game is really fun. I love math games and this is really unique and interesting.
Very clever and innovative mechanic. I'll be coming back to this one.
I enjoyed the mechanic a lot. I've found that it's a lot harder to reason with 2-digit numbers: had the most challenge with the level with that restriction. Nice game!
This is a super clever idea. It got me thinking really hard early in the morning, so thanks for that, jerk
Great job on this. I couldn't find volume control or mute though and the audio was really loud.
@harrison-dunn Ahh, that's a good catch. Didn't think about volume control, that'll be something to keep in mind for future jams! Thanks a ton!
This is a fun little brain bender game. Seems like a fun game to play a little bit each day to keep yourself sharp! Despite the simple premise, you do a lot of things to mix it up and throw a wrench in the player's plans. Stuff like forcing them to use big numbers, use X number of operations, etc.
I'm a big fan of this one!
Clever game! Would love to see more developments in the future.
Wow, this game is so addictive. It is innovative in it's concept. Well explained, fun and addictive. Visuals are nice and clean. I also wish I could have rated you on the audio because that is great too. Really REALLY good game you have here.
Nice way to mix it up with restrictions! The dialogue was fun too :D
Thanks a lot for the kind comments, everyone! @lrl64 The music wasn't composed for the jam unfortunately, but I'll definitely pass the comment along to Alphadeus!
Really cool game! I think this could be even cooler if you added stuff like summation and product notation in a post ld version.
Fun game a unique genre for a jam! Appreciated the humor in the writing and especially liked the meditating graphic. My favorite equation was 2379-2379+17
This is a very intersting math game for me! I enjoy the one that need to figure 12 * 13. Though I have to say the programming of this game must be solid and the system works well. Nice Job!
The unique number pools and restrictions made every new hole stay interesting. Great little brain twister. My only complaint is that it wasn't longer.
I was not expecting this to be any fun but I finished the whole thing and it was really interesting and enjoyable!
interesting concept :) although I felt like you could have highlighted when the player uses digits that aren't available (anymore)
@substain Absolutely! I'm thinking of returning to Fore later on and making a more polished version, and that's high on the list of changes
Really enjoyed this game! Nice graphics and addictive gameplay - honestly could've kept playing for much longer!
Great work! :)
This was absolutely fantastic! The game made me feel very smart, although I did feel like I was exploiting it a bit because any level where I could use a 0 (or make one) then I could solve the problem using very few digits, and then multiply all the rest of the numbers by 0. For example, on one level I got to 17 by doing `17 + ((3-3) * 2245677899)` which felt like cheating
The levels where I had restrictions like no subtract and no zero made me think the hardest, and they were the ones I enjoyed the most too. Really clever game idea, really funny too! Thanks for making this!
I tried to play on my MacBook, but I think the window of this game is too big for me to be able to play!

Is there a way for me to resize it, or play it fullscreen?
I'm happy to finally see something linux-native today. This was really fun and it was satisfying to see the meditating graphic pop up. Since you declined the music category, does that mean the music is from somewhere else? I was a little confused by the requirement of "use all 7s". It took me a couple minutes to realize that it meant that all 3 7s must be featured in my equation, not that I somehow had to make every number into a 7. There are certainly ways to run up the score, but it feels satisfying to notice that you're in a position to do so. But why do we want a high score in a game that's golf-themed? That's exactly the opposite of how golf works! My immersion!
@jezzamon Mac support was a bit more difficult for me in the limited time frame, and not owning one to test on myself. Does the fullscreen button ("F") help any?
@piscythe That's right, the music was already composed before the jam! Alphadeus gave us permission to use his tracks in the game, but it wouldn't be right to enter the category. You can check out the artist on his bandcamp here: https://alphadeus.bandcamp.com/
