Well Well Well Well Well Well Well.
I like the combat system, not too spammy but still super simple.
Really good graphics and sound design.
It's fun and simple, could definitely use some audio though.
This was great! it reminded me of the I-Spy game I used to have on Windows XP.
Having to unlock the enemies is a fun concept. I think incorporating some use for the diamonds like upgrades or something would have added some more good strategy to the game but it's still good and fun how it is now.
This game was great! As soon as I started playing it, it reminded me of Rabbids Go Home on the Wii (Not the gameplay, just the idea) which was one of my favorite games when I was 9 or 10. The only problem with the game is that it's hard to play as a lefty.
Neat game, I liked the pixel art and the Theme was well implemented.
@j0ye Thanks for the feedback. I definitely agree with the controls thing, but I wanted the game to be compatible with controllers and that was the only way I could implement it without making it exclusive to XBox controllers.
@joaosoliva @doctorturbo I think if I update the game I'll add an option for mouse aiming with a cycle through bullet selector. I think that will work better for people using keyboard. I only ever tested the game with my SNES controller so I didn't really think a lot about how well that would translate to keyboard controls.
@gustavo-christino Wow, thanks. This is super helpful. I definitely hope to continue making this game in the future and I agree that adding some more unique aspects to the game would help it stand out and sell better. When I started the game I wanted to make a more bullet hell style game with actual levels with bosses but I didn't have time to program the more advanced "ai" needed for that. I think that if I continue developing it I will probably end up making it more like my original concept and also speed up the restarting process.
@jakemchugh1 Thanks!
The game was interesting but it seemed too random I didn't really feel like anything I was doing was affecting the game. Also when I played it a second time I got one seed then instantly got obliterated by spike balls.
I fell out of the Train and couldn't get back in. other than that it was fun.
I enjoyed the game but moving with only A or D seems weird. I think W or Up Arrow would have worked better. Great Soundtrack!
Fun game, It kept me playing for a while. I like the aesthetics.
this is a really neat take on Chess. I don't have anyone to play with right now but it works well and completely changes the game.
It was fun but it would be better with more variation.
Really fun to play but getting circles to register can be very finicky. Also, Great music!
Really good concept but the long restart time made the game feel a bit tedious. Other than that, great game!
Very cool concept and great graphics!
I escaped the loop
suprisingly fun to play with friends.
Very strange game. I loved the music!
Thanks for the feedback everyone! I agree that the entering moves mechanic should be slower, at the time I couldn't think of a way to make it line up with the music without doing what I did. I really liked the press a button to continue idea. Maybe just apply a low-pass filter when you're entering moves then have a short countdown to realign it with the music after pressing a button? I'm glad that everyone liked the music. It's probably what I spent the most time on overall. And about the installer thing, I definitely think it's valid to think a random installer is sketchy. I'm just used to making installers because most of my family prefers them because it's easier for them to figure out and they think it's safer because it looks more "professional" (yes I know that's completely wrong) and I figured that putting it on Game Jolt would make it clear that it's actually a game. If I had uploaded the game to my website, Absolutely don't install it. I wouldn't even trust something from there, it's not a secure site and can probably be hacked incredibly easily.
This was fan be pretty difficult.
To play you need to rename the folder called "LDjam47_Data" to "Lily_The_Bee_Data".
Cool idea for a game! Some of them were really hard to find.
I can't figure out how to play this game.
I cannot make this game work, Looks good though.
Cool concept, I had a similar idea for my game. I couldn't fully figure out how to get it to work but it was still pretty good.
Fun game. The graphics were good, especially the UI. My only complaint is that I can't use arrow keys to move.
Really cool game, I couldn't really figure out how to control it well but it was still fun. The ambient style music was really good too. Also Bonus points for making the game without an engine, I tried to do that once using and the most I did was make a simple 2d platformer with really buggy collision.
Good concept, Good Music. I wish it had more levels though.
I enjoyed this game, the lasers were annoying though. I feel like they should be more attracted to your clones so it's a bit easier to get past them. Other than that, it was fun. It fit the theme well and was what I was going to make before coming up what I ended up making.
Really fun but Super difficult.
Really fun and simple
Really interesting game. Searching for the portals is hard but satisfying once you find one.
This game was surprisingly entertaining.
Simple but fun. Also great music.
Nice simple game. It was super simple and I found myself playing for a lot longer than probably necessary.
Really cool animation! I didn't know that there was an ending until coming here to write a comment (I guess I could have also read the description, but I didn't). I agree that some sort of indicator would have been nice, really good otherwise though.
I really like the concept, This is similar to one of the ideas My friend and I came up with while brainstoming so I'm glad somebody actually made it. However, I can't start the game, It keeps crashing as soon as it starts. It could be the browser I'm using but I'm not sure.
Windows will not let me run this game.Screenshot (361).png
@theblondebass I had just downloaded it when I uploaded the screenshot.
@theblondebass The new build worked. The game is really fun. I love math games and this is really unique and interesting.
Really cool concept, fun to play, and I love the dynamic roots mechanic. It seems to lag a bit but that could be my browser.
@kieron-woodhouse I deffinetly agree that the pacing is a bit off. If I have time before the deadline I might try tweaking some of the games a bit and maybe add one or two more, but I don't think I'll have time to do that.
@kernon I'm using Unity. If I have time to update the game, I'll see if a web build will work.
@kieron-woodhouse Is the card game the only one with an issue? I think I know what's causing it but I can't really test because I don't have that issue even in the build.
@kp-cftsz What's the bug?
Really cool concept, I love the lore behind it. I feel like the game could have used some more creepy vibes, I don't really know how you would do that but it just felt a bit off. It was still great though.
Seems like a neet concept but I am too tired right now to try to find a good strategy. It reminds me of a board game a friend of mine is making. I wasn't very good at that game either.
It was a fun game and I thinks it's a cool concept. I can't play very much of it though because there's no left-handed controls.
Super cool game! I love the concept, it's like Monster Hunter Rise but as a top down caving game. My only issue isn't even anything about the game, just that my browser doesn't run games very well because I don't ave hardware acceleration turned on and has almost a full second of input lag for me. A downloadable version would have been great. I think this could definitely be developed further into a really great game.
Really cool game! It has great graphics and I love the sound effects. I don't know if I fully understood the powerup mechanic though. Some of the side effects seem to either not work or only take effect 1 or 2 rounds after you get it, and the sword and bow polish didn't seem to do much. Overall really good entry though.
I really like the art style and mood of the game.
Have you ever played the game Frog Fractions? this reminds me of that game. It's really fun and with some more steps before the game ends, you could make this a great game.
I love this concept! and I'm impressed that you were able to make anything even somewhat 3d in Game Maker, I'm required to use Game Maker for a college class and it is not intuitive or easy to use at all. The only minor thing is that the levers don't move if the mouse isn't on top of them so I often found it hard to slide a lever up and down without it being choppy. Overall really cool though!
Really good pixel art and I liked the music. I'm pretty sure it's impossible a lot of the time though. Maybe some other way to regenerate stamina would be good, like you can give 10 or so coins to refill your stamina so you'll never run out but the more you have to use it the less you'll be able to buy at the end of the level. Overall really fun to play.
This was a supprisingly really fun game. The graphics and Background music were both rally good. If you added some more variety (more rock types / more upgrades) I could definitely see this becoming a successful mobile game.
I really like the atmosphere.
The music and art were both great! Fun to play, my only complaint is the same thing that's already been said about the attack patterns having a safe zone, and some left-handed controls would have been nice, I am not good at using WASD to move characters. Other than that it was pretty enjoyable. Bullet Hell is one of my favorite genres.
Really interesting game. I love how it gets more and more trippy and confusing the more you play.
I love the rope mechanics and the intro/tutorial. Motion blur is a bit intense though.
I love that you need to find the start button, and the music was fantastic! ok, but actually though, this game is super difficult but I also have pretty awful reaction time so that definitely didn't help. Overall, it was very entertaining.
Thanks for the feedback everyone! With college work, I'm not going to be able up update the game before the deadline but I definitely agree that controls could have been polished and some features could have been better communicated with the player. The tutorial is the one thing my team couldn't really figure out how to do well with the time we had left to work. Hopefully it was enjoyable anyway.
