Nice arcade style shooter. I'd like a few more hints as to how to advance in the development.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD45 → Nameless Boxes

Love the puzzle aspect. Finished the game without unlocking everything and had to go back to do the rest of it. Would love to see this concept expanded to make a longer game. Great job!
I'm getting just a blank grey screen :/
I'm trying to play the web version in chrome and I just see a gray box.
Ha! I was boring, but then I won for realz. ;) Nice mechanics. I was confused about when baddies would stop respawning and I could move on, though.
@sbackus Try pressing SPACEBAR!
I had the same issue. I thought it was a joke at first and then read the description.
The abilities being gained along with new enemies appearing was a cool mechanic. Graphics are charming. I love the sound design. Simple sounds, but did a lot to add personality to the game. I especially liked when the sound synced with UI messages.
I couldn't find an other ending, and I wasn't patient enough actually :D
Good sound.
lol. Thanks @comicsans! Nice game! I think I found all the endings.
Nice little platformer. Your 2d box colliders seem to be way too big for their sprites, so I had trouble with some of the platforms. Other than that though you did a nice job! Loved the beginning.
Good theme implementation! I felt that the boss was a bit too hard since there was no way to regain health that I know of but overall good job! (Managed to get the boss kill ending without killing the boss btw)
@d5r Iea I never implemtented a check for the boss being dead. Thanks for the feedback!
@ljfmx Technically the box colliders were the same size as the player, but i added a check in front of the player if there was a wall, and set the velocity to zero. This would prevent the player from sticking to the wall. I agree I probably should have scaled that down a bit. Thank you!
Wow, multiple endings is very cool to have!
I liked it. Good job :) (Everyone who was getting a gray screen. You have to hit space)
@blondeman Ah. Simple solution for next time would be a 2D box collider on your walls with friction set to 0. Good info for next time. I haven't found a quick alternative solution, and I had the same exact problem with my game lol :)
Neat game, I liked the pixel art and the Theme was well implemented.
@ljfmx Ah I see thanks for the tip. I originally tried doing that but only for the play haha.
