Link doesn't work for me either
@aimainiac @wrimo link should work now. Thanks for the info
Thanks! Sadly, I can't play this one because I am on a Mac.
This was fan be pretty difficult.
Great concept and very tricky! It was like threading a needle. Couldn't finish it, but it was fun.
I finished it after many tries. Great fun!
This is very tricky! I like it.
Cool idea
Really awesome game! Would be better if you were zoomed out by default and took a shorter amount of time to respawn.
I really love this kind of games, reminds me of my first game that I made in flash. Not overly complicated, though I would appreciate a bit more coherent trail of previous attempts. Great job :)
Cool concept! One thing that drives me crazy though is that the zoom resets every time I restart
For me it's just crashing into the planet within the first second. And whenever I am fast enough with the mouse to enable the thrusters I'm out and explode.
Had a lot of fun, great idea and nicely increasing difficulty. No bugs encountered. Especially since you were alone. Major respect <3 The only thing is that if you do a lot of encounters, the dots of your former projectory does not help anymore, since there are too many. But everything else was amazing
Great spin on the Theme! I really liked the art style, especially the Wormhole! I would have liked to see some keyboard controlls too, but that's just a minor inconvenienve. I couldn't gest past this level, but that was probably due to my lack of skill. It looked awesome though: Screenshot 2020-10-06 123907.png
I've made a video where I try out a bunch of Ludum Dare games, including yours. If you'd like to check that out here's the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pj-l261Esr0
@jimmakesgames great, thanks :D
I had fun , someone next to me enjoyed laughing as I messed up , great job all around !
This is great! Very well executed physics, and the SFX were bang on.
Quite tricky. Liked this one. Liked the wormhole. Would have preferred the zoomed out view to be default after restarting though. But that's a minor issue. Overall, well done!
In the version I played, after I finished the first level, the ENGAGE button didn't work, didn't do anything. I see that there are more levels, but I'm afraid I couldn't play them T_T
The art is amazing!
Interesting game. With a bit more polish it would greatly increase the playability. The zoom toggle should stay in the same state between death and instead of having 3 buttons to do everything you could probably just use two key board buttons. Fun game tho. Nice work ;)
@gemberkoekje First of all, thanks for playing. You have to restart the game after you return to the main menue and start the first level again to make sure the button works. It's some kind of bug, I wasn't able to fix in time :D
Nice job!
nice job, like the art. Very hard.
Super interesting concept. It's sort of unintuitive that the force of gravity on the rocket is stronger the further away you are from the planet, but it works. I agree that the biggest QoL issue is the having to rezoom out after every attempt.
Cool aesthetic, and very difficult! I think there's a random aspect which makes it very difficult to predict where the missile is giong to go. Pretty cool!
Nice physics-based gameplay ! It was really satisfying when you finally find the right path or when you ace a level !
Interesting concept, all users can see good physics, good art, I like hard games! I recommend it
The game itself is really fun and I like the way you worked with the theme, it's just hard to calculate the trajectory that you are going to have but I guess that's how the game it's meant to be. Captura.PNG
Fun game it got me playing till the end nice mechanics things to improve, maybe your ship spawning without crashing at beginning other then that good game :D
Cool game ! Wish the mechanics were a bit more expanded on to bring something new to this concept, like some way to control the ship or moving targets, just something a bit different. Well done though!
This was really cool! The game got me hooked, I played for quite a while! I really liked the visuals in the game, especially the trajectories of your previous attempts. Maybe you could add some slight bit of UI (or in the after death screen) that shows which level the player is currently on. Overall great job!
Nice sprites, the game looks good and plays good, It can be easily turned into a full game with more mechanics to offer. good job
Great gameplay concept :)
I would've like keyboard controls & the zoom level not resetting on every restart though - now there seems to be a bit of extra clicking. To me it seems you could perhaps change the default zoom :)
Some additional gameplay elements might be also nice, like the asteroids being destroyed by impact (you could use the amount of tries for score counting).
The game is really fun, and I like your take on the theme. The UI could be a bit more polished, and the view should always start on the farther view, with a button to zoom in, but t's still a good entry overall!
Cool level design, combining puzzles with timing-skill is a good idea for the loop theme. I think there is a kind of a bug in it, when I returned to the menue (by accident) and started on the fisrt level I could not proceed to the next level, but was only able to return to the main menu.
I really like the art style and level design. Also, for some reason, I find the sound effect and particle effect of the space ship exploding super satisfying.
