Fun and challenging game. The graphics are awesome and the sounds fit perfectly! really nice game.
I'm not exactly sure how, but I ended up breaking the game on my first run where I enabled 3D movement somehow. 2LeaguesAtDawn.PNG
Really nice graphics
The interface design is visually fantastic, and the controls feel really tactile! Do the buttons in the middle do anything when turned on/off?
Yo! Those buttons in the middle, I`m dying to know if they do anything! I drew so many patterns there to see if something happened! LOL I can never tell Left from Rigth, so you can probably guess how bad I did in this game HEHAHEAHEAHEHA But I really liked the idea for those controls!!! A little to long in my opinion, but definitely a Great game!!!
Wonderful presentation, interesting mechanic and control system, A very neat little experience. If I had one complaint it would be that there's not much for the player to do other than work the levers and kind of lazily avoid jelly fish, which makes the experience drag a bit as it goes on. Excellent work though overall!
@angrysandwich yeah lmao they dont do anything. i had a whole system where you could use them to destroy obstacles but i ran out of time haha ;~;.
@jaiden-gerig thanks for the feedback :>. i agree, i had a more interesting system for the gameplay planed but i kinda ran out of time. The plan was too have the jellyfish snap too a grid and come up in pre-made patterns (along with some other blocks ex. stone). Also if you replay the game and press the buttons you'll see that they actually turn on and off.... i was going to let the player use them to destroy certain blocks(the jellyfish). I'll probably add this stuff in after the jam is over as i was mostly done with it.
@sam-wallach lmao no XD (i ran out of time)
@daspanjo yeah! that happens when you press H.. i guess i forgot to turn debug mode off XP.
Fun and innovative control scheme. And no need to couch the graphics, I legitimately enjoyed them - looks like a great PS2 game. I found that the best approach was just to set one of the levers to half power and then simply manipulate the other one. I beat the game just doing that; would be interesting to try to come up with a way to make me mix it up, like a pattern that requires full horizontal speed to traverse.
@bmacintosh thanks! good idea :>

What a fun gem. As others have said, innovative controls and enjoyable gameplay. Would be alot of fun as a phone game I think so I could use both levers at once, and would probably open up level design more too! Unfortunately I couldn't get the music to play, but I think that may just be a my side of things issue.

Thank you for submitting! I hope my in-stream feedback was helpful!
@shaunjs it was! thank you :>
@cyzaine yeah i agree! sry u couldn't get the music to work :<.
I love this concept! and I'm impressed that you were able to make anything even somewhat 3d in Game Maker, I'm required to use Game Maker for a college class and it is not intuitive or easy to use at all. The only minor thing is that the levers don't move if the mouse isn't on top of them so I often found it hard to slide a lever up and down without it being choppy. Overall really cool though!

Great concept. Once you understand the controls, its really easy to complete the game, may be a little bit more challenge ? :) Overall, it was a great entry ! Well done !
Nice game. I enjoyed the asymetric mecanics that forces you to increase speed little by little. overall very fun.
Huzzah GMS!! Great job!

Cool game, great job!
This is great, especially the presentation! Love the old school, low-poly control interface, especially the shaking speaker. Great work!
@dan-mcalister Thank you! i was worried that people would find the speaker annoying XP
The controls were a bit tricky at first, but once I got a hold of it, it was a ton of fun! great job!
@diharaw94 Thanks!
