I don't know if I was reaching the end of certain dialogue lines or the game experiencing a bug but several options seemed not to progress any further.

Nice submission, interesting concept! It felt a bit weird when I got to some end for the story (I think?) but didn't have any visual clue about that.

Interesting idea. I would have liked it better if the options went further rather than having many options. Dialogues were fun to read :D Could have linked it to the begining though. I had to restart a couple of times to see other versions, you could do it automatically I guess, don't give the user a chance to close it and put them in a loop ;)

Haha you got me with the GTA VI Trailer :D. I like the looks and the music, but I would have wished for an easier way to go back to the start of the conversation :)

It doesn't seem to display your interface quite right on a 3:2 screen, doesn't seem to scale properly for this aspect Screenshot 2021-04-28 102747.pngratio or resolution.

Well, that's a particular game (or non-game ?). I'm curious as to what the original concept of circular platformer with this trippy background could have given.

Aurélien did a really good job with the music, i liked it a lot. Some of the choice options & text lines were pretty fun too.

On the downside, it wasn't obvious at first when we reach an end, and a button to get back instantly to the menu or start would have been good rather than having to go to the escape menu & restart.

Scaling problems, add game controls to description.

I's cool how the game has a bunch of options but having less but more deep ones might be more fun. Nice graphics! Also audio didn't seem to work for me. And finally +2 for gta IV.

The music and the colors are surely the most important aspect of this experience. And they are beyond perfect. Very nice to look at, and I like the sound soo much. It feels like an 80s fever dream. The dialogue should also be highlighted here. It was fun in so many ways, yet it was a bit unpleasant to experience, since there were so many dead ends and not a nice way to read all the lines.

I have to say: very original idea. Also the background was visually pleasing and fitted the theme. But i had some issues while playing: First of all I had to zoom out my google window by about 50% to see what actually was going on, then on my first two tries I didn't have any audio and on the third try it was there all of a sudden. I don't want to repeat all the other comments above, but just so you know: I also found the dead ends of each storyline a bit confusing and would have found it more comfortable, if I could go to the main menu again, instead of restarting the game each time. Aside from these (i think still easily fixable) issues, i had a fun experience and think this idea could be expanded upon in many ways. Maybe really a collection of several mini games, or just more and longer branching paths that mess with the player. I found that aspect really amusing. Fun idea, and unfortunatelly only almost good enough execution!

Keep it up :D

That was something else! The answers made me smile a lot and I totally recognized Yann in these lines, haha.

The fact that you rescoped everything mid-jam but still came up with this is impressive. I personnally like this kind of experience where it's actually just chatting with a bot - *and I know how branching dialogues can be exhausting* -.

I'm sure you already know this, I saw some comments mentioning it but there is a scaling issue on the web version, that's not blocking but it can bug the eye. Also I would have loved an option to restart without f5-ing cause I'm lazy and maybe a real "point final" when we reach the end of a dialogue The colors and the music really worked together, good job on that. I'm so glad I was sober while playing though, jk.

Good job :)

*I'm still thinking about the geeteehaveeeee*

Interesting idea. The visuals and music are nice. Dialogue tree is fun, but not very deep, and a little hard to realize you've reached an endpoint. Controls are interesting and cool. Nice work!

dom-de-re 2021-04-30 13:46

Its a pretty hypnotic experience, it felt a bit like zombo.com but better!

salier 2021-04-30 14:16

Loved the theme and mood, weirdly soothing! Felt a bit weird when the conversation just stopped, thought for a bit that i was missing some controls. But i suppose that was due to a lack of time, so well *Insert David Goodenough*. An experience i'm gonna remember, particularly the french twins and asparagus text.

I couldn't see the whole game in my computer (15" screen Macbook), I tried full screen just in case. Is there a way to scale it down? some of the buttons text where out of screen and couldn't read properly.

shin0nome 2021-05-01 14:09

Fun idea ! Graphics with the colors work well together, music is great and this game do have a lot of humor ! Good job !

colisan 2021-05-01 17:35

Very innovative idea, I love to see exerimental games that pushes the boundaries of our domain <3

I was a bit shocked to see the dialog tree end after a very few choices, so I refreshed the page many time and tried different paths, it was cool. I really had the feeling of chatting with someone =D

The game rendering was a bit weird on my screen size, apart from that, the visuals were nice too.

Congrats on your submission =)

Definitely unique, and very trippy! There were some funny dialogue choices, but I wished the conversations went on longer. You should really lower the dimensions of the game window, as I had to zoom out on my browser to play it. Also, there are some weird bugs with the audio where if you leave the browser tab, the audio will keep playing but will skip indefinitively, and if the page is refreshed the music doesn't play anymore.

I liked your game, good art combined with music, I liked the applied concept, it really came out of the box, and this is fantastic, what changes the world and makes it more fun are the paths that take us through the curves of life, I hope to see you evolving in the project correct the display bugs and especially the credits that do not appear, I believe that in life all work that does not have our signature does not generate value, continue the project, and soon you will reap great results, if possible and if you want leave your feedbacks in my game I will be very happy, a big hug to the whole team.

I liked the game concept and some dialogs, they really made me feel like I was having a real conversation. I even replaced it for a few days with the other apps that I used to find friends. But it's still not as good as talking to girls on https://omeglealternative.com/, because apps like that can't replace the conversation with real people.
