I will try to have a osx build up tomorrow. I don't think I'll be making a webbuild, since I'm using godot 4 and they don't seem to work on mac.

I just set the best time on The Snake  I'm sure someone will beat me by tomorrow.
This was a lot of fun. I see how the theme fits. The skating felt smooth and like you were moving quickly.
Congrats on your first Godot game! Loved the graphics and the game was very fun to play. I wanted to keep going and get a better time. I just was not really good at it haha. Great unique way of implementing the theme
Well done with this entry!
Good work. Played through without any bugs. Just as you wrote, a bit tough with the controls, but that didn't stop me ;)

Another best time on Snake! Nice take on the theme! The physics were quite well balanced to the level design and the leaderboard is a pretty good addition to the whole as to bring out the competition!
Well I kinda like racing, so you hit my thing. Good look to others breaking my scores :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
@googlypoo let's gooo i beat the time! the game is surprisingly fun for such a simple concept and i really enjoyed it.
Nice, not at all bad for your first in Godot! A bit crazy of you to try and put in a leaderboard, but very motivating for the players. I felt the giving-up animation when you get off the track.
The global best time was a nice touch, and I found myself trying to beat each of the times though I failed miserably on all of them. I honestly want to know how you guys are completing these levels so fast. The game controls well and is simple and straight to the point, good job! I do wish there were more levels or twists to the gameplay, though.
Always cool to have a leaderboard, the game was fun to try and beat the high score and realizing how high it really was.
- cool, I liked the global best showing and the leaderboard. - It was annoying that the first time I failed a map I had to click the restart with my mouse, and only then I was able to restart with the enter key. - I'm not sure multiple inputs were working, on the last map I discovered the slowing down ability, before I usually had up or down and left or right pressed at the same time.
Fun gameplay, you can really feel the skating vibe on longer levels. Greatly improved by a leaderboard, cool to see in a jam. Ice looked especially nice.
The Snake highscore is mine now, 19.516 B)
coo leaderboards! hehehehe made me fee Slowwww. It was interesting enough that i did all the levels. :D
The is okay and I had fun trying it. The game feels a bit unfinished, and some sound effects and perhaps some music would have been great. But overall an okay little jam game.
And nope I am not near the top of the leaderboard.
Nice idea, and clever to add the leaderboard, it makes it a lot more interesting as LD game. The movement feels nice when you get some speed and flow, I think you should design the levels around achieving this, and try to avoid frustration as much as possible. Well done!

Pretty fun game! Global leaderboard was definitely a nice addition, because it really motivated you to learn the controls properly. I was a bit confused about what counts as getting stuck in the snow, because I could sometimes recover when I was really deep in, but sometimes it slowed me down very quickly. Still, I had a good time! Really the only thing I was missing was sound effects!
This is a really well done racing type game. THe controls are fast but they don't feel unfair. Sometimes the hitboxes of the snow were a little hard to comprehend but mostly the experience was smooth. The online leaderboard was a cool bonus feature.
Certainly works on Linux with no issues. The penguins rejoice! :penguin:
Sadly I'm too late (and bad) to beat anyone on the leader board.
