At first I emptied the 30 bullets on the first cat ! But then I figured out how to play the game by reading the comments. May be more explanations on the way the trigger operates would help.

Really fun and excellent art and sound. I would play longer but I wanted to keep my mouse alive ;D. A mobile touch version would make a lot of sense and could be very interesting.
Nice and smooth game. I liked the mechanic and it fits well with the theme. The graphics are simple and help make the game very clear. I was stuck on level 4, I felt I missed one life (I probably missed something...). The controls are nice and feel .... liquid ;)

Very nice graphic and ultra tight control. It took me some to figure out the scoring method and how to lower your heart value, the explanation was not very clear to me. When I figured it out I kept a low profile and bounced between two rooms to end the game and "win". The game has a very nervous controls and some rooms are really hard, I never managed to get the key and the heart on level 1-4 by the way
I would love to see more rooms !! Congrats.
I liked the mood and the graphics, unfortunately I found fighting the red ennemies is really hard and a little bit frustrating.
Very funny game. My priests were really busy to keep UYUYU happy. They really have a difficult job. Well done !

@bootlegjoe : during the tests we found it was quite hard to play so we lowered the difficulty, good to know it is not that hard !

I loved the feed (as many others), the mood and the black --mirror-- humor! Perhaps adding costly exquisite parts would engage a lot the player. It might be nice on mobile as well, so you can share you creatures on whatever social media ;)

Quite fun and entertaining, I managed to get the laser at the end... My favorite is the shotgun with spreading bullets. I would love to blast more ennemies sorts now!
Very funny game, I loved to lure the flies and hit 2 or 3 in a row. I managed to get to level 10 :)
Of course more variety would help but the core mechanic works very well.

Very nice and beautiful game. I had some troubles to understand what is that makes you or your people die. Perhaps some hints to indicate when you are short on ressources could be useful.
I really enjoyed the experience, the graphics and the mood.
A few personal comments: the character movement was a little bit irregular and the collisions during the jump stopped the movement which was a little bit disturbing.
Other than that a really good submission !
Nice interpretation of the theme. The turns were a little bit hard though !
I found the game fun to play event if the controls are really tight. I really liked the "soul" which I found innovative and could opens many new mechanics. Checkpoints would have been nice though.

Hello, thanks for your nice comments ! Good idea to continue eating in space we will consider it. We will continue fixing in the next days, when time permits. We want the beast to grow Enormous but that was not obvious in the given time.
This game has very beautiful graphics and music. Perhaps it would be better if when you lose you return to the start position and pause. Some trails left by the objects could be nice as well. The stamp reuse can lead to very complex levels. Well done !

My favourite game. It's verys simple and exciting. Really had a lot of fun, the red thin nasty fast runnning are red, thin, fat and nasty. Excellent game !

I liked the concept the art and the overall mood. Sadly I was not able execute the super jump with the crouch + jump, I tried different timings but it did not work out. So I missed the witch :(. The interia when landing is also sometimes frustrating. Nice game !
Really funny and the difficulty ramps up nicely. It's very well equilibrated. Shooting ennemies and feeding the king, is it a metaphor of office work ? I imagine it could be expanded further with more ennemies. Well done !

Neat game. I liked the overall mood. The mixing of two gameplays is very interesting, I preferred the grabbing gameaply, the exploration lacked variety and challanges in my opinion. The rendering of the boat and its physics is quite impressive !

Super fun and funny ! Looks a little bit like downwell with more platformer elements. I like the big gravity acceleration, long falls are really scary. The level design is really impressive for a game jam and the controls are soooo smooth. Amazing job, congrats !

The game is very fun to play. The slow mo mechanic is very well tuned and adds some kind of nervosity as this is the most important ressource. Maybe resetting fully the slow mo' after a death could be nice. I think. As pointed by other comments there is room for more gameplay elements to keep the player hooked (sliders ? bumpers ? teleporters ? etc ).

I really enjoyed the graphics and the atmosphere. I played the squid with a keyboard and it was sometimes difficut to control it as it turns too quickly in my opinion. The last level was really interesting with all the physics tricks you could use to carry objects. Nice, moody and insteresting entry !
I really enjoyed the game (or story). One of my favourite so far. I was lost at first, but this was not really a problem, I just went deeper and deeper collecting touchstone on the way, while enjoying the walk and the atmosphere. I will probably dream of clocks, flowers and telephones !
The story is very well balanced between the texts and the environment and all makes sense at the end which is very satisfying.

I liked the overall concept. The graphics and the music are really nice. I found the controls were not really friendly and the game is immediately very difficult and too punishing. It is almost impossible to avoid getting hit by the first shot fromt ennemy saucership. This leads to a lot of frustreation. I guess slowing down the pace of ennemies and not having them shoot ing immediately woule help the experience. Nic eentry !

Actually the camera movement is intentional. The camera automatically focuses when you move your roots to display all of them. Maybe it was not the best choice. We'll try to find some compromise, once the player moves the camera inside a level, it won't refocus automatically.

We will probably improve the scrolling, add an undo button, clearly mark "inverted" roots. We were really short on time to implement all this stuff on the first version. We may add as well more challenges and intermediate levels.

@bereg for this jam we had some very "basic" level editor where anybody could create a level with just a basic string of characters, so the whole team could create and very easily share levels, there is a creator button at the startup screen to enter level data. We used a google spreadsheet to visualize the level and then cut and paste into the input field.
Both fun and moody. I like the atmosphere and it was really fun to play. I was some hoping kind of ending when reaching level 0, I stopped playing at leval -3 !
It got really easier once I picked up the attack and defense bonuses. Some collisions felt a little bit awkward. And the jump is not nervous enough in my opnion to escape bullets for example.
The graphics, the sounds, the light fx and the animations are really good. Nice entry !
Excellent and really fun ! The game was really well balanced and the incentive to grab gold to buy upgrades is perfectly tuned and addictive. I have reached 1003cm. Once fully upgraded there is less incentive, I guess this is something to work on if you want to push the game further. Perhaps a scroll up revealing your entire digging journey when you die could be fun as well.

I liked the creepy tone, maybe more interactivity could have helped. Even though the texts ware hard to read but they fit well the mood. I had to read the spoilers to find the third ending.
Very nice game and well balanced puzzles. It was very fun to play. The mechanic is very quick to grasp, and I like the simplicity and efficiency. I had some troubles to start the game (I am not used to pico 8). May be you should add some instructions for non pico-8 users. By the way our game has almost the same name :smile: !

I really liked the dark humor and the "cold" atmosphere. I think some of controls and feedbacks could be slightly improved, like the biometric scan that would need some early feedback. The last was puzzle was the most interesting.
In my opinion music and sound fx would add much more intensity to the game for a relatively "cheap" development cost, like synthesized voice reading the instructions or mocking the player. You can maybe try this in a post jam version ?

Neat game, I had more trouble finding air pockets in time than fighting ennemies. Like other comments I found that resetting the equipement was a little bit frustrating. I sometimes had very tiny black lines between blocks of water, I had similar issues that were fixed using the pixel perfect camera from unity.

Really nice and cute design, very fluid game. I would have played many more levels ! Good job.
Neat game, the diffcult ramps nicely. I had some bugs for example to play again I need hit play twice, the first time I get a score of zero. The gameplay is simple and efficient and quite addicitive. I did not understand the difference between greed and food, it did not affect very much my play. I think the horizontal character should increase when you go deeper.
