great game, I like the art
nice little platformer. I dont know what platorm you used, but the game loaded fast. Gameplay was slightly odd, but i think i managed to get the key and some hearts. Good work anyway on the gaming logic and sprites.
Smoothest platformer I've played of submitted games! I didn't really understand the menu grid and it flashed away faster than I could read, but the gameplay and levels were nice!
nice job, game is easy to pick up and hard to get good at.
Very smooth platforming, and lovely art - every pixel put to good use! I'll echo comments above about the map screen (wasn't sure what I was looking at); it didn't detract from the experience in the end, but the game would have been just as good without it. Nice work!
The art and the gameplay are great, this is a very good plataformer. I'm still not really sure what is the goal of the game, but still, the levels are very fun.
Neat prototype of the idea :) I didn't enjoy the main gameplay much, not being a massive fan of platformers tbh, so that kind of kept me from enjoying the game too much - I liked the description of the mechanics, though not sure I'd have picked them up from just playing the game :)
It looks pretty simple and funny to play it. Nice work mate.
Beat the 5 levels and got all the hearts! The controls were a bit twitchy, but I'm not terribly good at precision platformers. I liked how different environments had different tunes, and I thought the levels were cleverly crafted, with lots of interest packed into small screens. The level with the blinking platforms was tough! Started to feel almost rhythmic, because of how you'd need to go and stop to the beat of the level. Good and polished entry!
Nice little platformer, though I don't really get what the scoring system was supposed to add - I ended up just playing the same levels over and over until I got enough points to win!
I like the art and the music is pretty fitting I think. Some sound effects would've been nice.
Very nice graphic and ultra tight control. It took me some to figure out the scoring method and how to lower your heart value, the explanation was not very clear to me. When I figured it out I kept a low profile and bounced between two rooms to end the game and "win". The game has a very nervous controls and some rooms are really hard, I never managed to get the key and the heart on level 1-4 by the way
I would love to see more rooms !! Congrats.
Art and level desing are great, could use more sound effects though, especially when you die.
Nice game, but I can't get past the first level (1-1). I would like to control the guy with wasd and the controls are also a bit too sensitive. I managed to get the key and all of the heart, but I didn't know were to go next. Each time I die, I loose a bunch of heart, so how can I get 666 hearts?

The level exits are bottom left and right of the screen, the key unlocks both. When you start the game you choose which level where to put the heart ( the various small hearts are just bonus pickups ) if you put it in level 1.1 then it would appear immediately and thats the way to play the game on easy mode, keep putting the heart in the very next level to make the game easy or do the oppersite for more challenge... its been confusing people which is a shame as its the most interesting mechanic in the game as its user guided difficulty.
I like the idea, but unfortunately it was not well communicated to the player. It's got a lot of potential though! The level design could have helped to guide the player a bit as well, especially in the start. Nice prototype, and good job on getting this far during the jam. :)
Good job on this! I sort of understood after reading the description that I was choosing the hardest difficulty by choosing a further away room. Otherwise, though I didn't exactly get what I was doing in the grid, nor what the choices had to do with drink, drugs, or greed. The music got a little repetitive after a while, but had a charming retro feel to it. Out of the level mechanics, I liked the material that slowed down your fall.
Fun platformer. I enjoyed the vertical challenges and having different objectives. It was a little confusing progressing directly to the furthest cell from the start, but not having any new cells unlocked upon arrival (the game took me back to the first cell which I'd chosen as my new destination). Good soundtrack. Would be nice to see a little more depth in player movement.
