Great tutorial and art. Quite a fun game but it needs some sounds and a lower difficulty. Good job!

And since mine is in the same ballpark i can say it's much better, way more polish went into this.
Very cool game, a bit hard for me, but interesting idea. Consider maybe making it scaleable for different resolutions.

Too hard for me but a great fun!!
Great game, loved the sound but maybe a bit too easy win. Also next time consider putting a slider for the music volume and maybe an adjustable game speed.

Needs a tutorial. Or even just add: >You need to play it a bit to find who you should bribe. Generally the more “evil” looking ones are bad and should not be bribed.

What even is this game? I had fun nonetheless.
@deaymon the game over you get when you make a line above the hero should only happen when the hero is on the first line (bottom) and that line is to be removed. I remove the bottom line every so often (see left side of the screen) to keep players from leaving the hero at the bottom in a cage and then only playing tetris. @fictions well I did say you can beat the game without any power-ups. Good job finding one of them, now find all. :))
@aevek another trademark of souls-like games are shortcuts. *hint hint*
@fireslash the shortcuts are not unintentional, that's how you finish the game without collecting any power-up. Also from what you're saying you died to the purple enemies, if you'd gotten back to the place where you died you'd see a green orb that contains all the power-ups you lost.

@mao I wish I could upvote this more than once. This review made my day, made me reconsider coming back to this project to polish it.
I am in awe of the fact that somebody actually took the time and beat the game without power-ups, and yes I do agree I should have signaled the shortcuts a little bit better.
Anyways, you sir have my utmost respect, and I hope you enjoyed playing.

@sirikan the cat food spawns after a random amount of time (45s-90s). It's supposed to be challenging after all. :)
