Absolutely disgusting :stuck_out_tongue: The weird warp effect on the meat is great! I don't really understand how to get more meat though.

Very meaty. I love the creativity. Sound effects are as great as the scenery is disgusting. I just wish there was some more variety to it. Great job!
love the art style man , quite consistent too which is normally the key to making these games feel complete and stand out, well done
Thanks for the feedback! And ive added to the game description that you get more meat by killing flies and collectng the clumps that engluf them and drop.
5* for humore and those special effects, i like it when its crazy haha (well so is our game xD) laughed my a** off hahaha well done xD game is a bit too easy but enjoyed it a while :)
It sounds so gross! lol. Really enjoyed this. Once I figured out you got more meat back for hitting multiple flies I was leading those suckers all over the place to create a conga line of death! Good game, enjoyed playing this one a lot.
Thanks for all the feedback! We really appreciate it since it was our first jam :) Definitely agree that the difficulty scaling could have used more attention, there was just so much we wanted to implement that we didn't have time for! A good lesson for the next project
Gross! Cool theme. Smooth movement and an interesting concept. It took me a few tries to get used to the throwing, but was fun once I did! Ty for the web link :)
Love it! great take on the theme. Got up to level 6 but it was taking a while after that. In an endless game like this I'd like to see some more enemy variety as the game goes on but I know that of course more enemies= more time to make them. you could even do something simple though like taking the fly you have and making a bigger version with a different color or something. But overall well executed for what it is. A couple times some flys got caught on each other and I just watched them dance in a circle XD. Anyway great job!
@dxk2294 :) We envisioned something like that from the start, but this implementation of it was a great bug-turned-feature that happened by accident haha
@ryan-brenner Disgusting was the aim, glad you can appreciate it :) The MeatScape is a cold and desolate place, but we agree that more variety as you level would have been a definite improvement
@tomasmunro I really appreciate that complements! The art and effects is probably what we had the most fun with so we spent a lot of our time on it
@nico-fallosch I'm glad you like it! Your game has a lot of personality too haha
@b3agz Yess, just as intended :) The game as pretty cryptic (unintentionally, due to the time limit) but I'm glad you figured out one of our favorite features. Thanks so much for playing!
@cheebz Thank you! We didn't get to scaling enemies, but we tried to polish the core player mechanics. And absolutely, we had to substitute a shader to work with WebGL but having our game be easy to share was important to us!
@rhoka Thanks! I enjoyed your game too. That's a great suggestion, we had ideas for enemy variants and difficulty scaling, but didn't have time to implement them due to wasting the first day on a completely different game idea that didn't pan out :/ But we definitely learned a lot from it and still had fun
I love the SFX in this game, you can really tell that you used real flies and real meat. Graphics are fun, good use of the theme, and everything is nice and fleshy. I'm ready to pledge to the MEAT
Art style used for the player and flies looks really nice, that ground texture is more questionable though  Shooting requires some getting used to but that timing mechanic added some more depth to gameplay. Overall, I really enjoyed the game.
Very funny game, I loved to lure the flies and hit 2 or 3 in a row. I managed to get to level 10 :)
Of course more variety would help but the core mechanic works very well.
Congrats!
Congrats on completing your first jam game!
Using your health as ammo is an interesting idea. It incentivizes you to be efficient with your shots. This could be pretty cool with some more content variety in it.
