The art and vibe is super fun !

The music doesn't really match with the mood though, and it would be nice if the enemey aggro would reset when you respawn at a checkpoint.

Other than that, there's a great framework for a fun dungeon delving game. The stealth mechanics as your primary means of defeating enemies is a nice change of pace from bonking goons' heads.

Quite a few good surprises in this game, I was wondering why the pigs had such pointy ears until one got pushed into the ceiling

Pretty fun to play, the mechanics are solid, and the hide control is great. Tricky in some places, well made!

Cool vibes to it. I think the jump is a little bit floaty and it can be very frustrating jump over the big animals. Also the fact that the animals don't reset can be problematic (at one point I was getting spawn killed). I really liked the wiggly plants (even though I thought it was pikes at first) and the soundtrack is super cool :) It lacks a tiny bit of polishing but congrats!

It's a really cute game and quite entertaining. I like the hiding mechanic, although, like other people, I got stuck when the enemies kept killing me on the spawn point. I also thought the plants were dangerous at first. Well done :)

I like this puzzle platformer. It is actually quite tense and scary but cute et the same time and the challenge is interesting and not unfair most of the time :) It seems the enemies are not scripted to do always the same thing, and their unpredictability add to the tension, but also to some frustration sometimes ^^

I like that the pigs don't see you from behind.

Nice entry! I played to the ending.

You have a couple of interesting mechanics here with the hiding, and the spiker guys that drop from the ceiling. The tutorial was effective without being overbearing, and I liked how you introduced the most unusual one first, let me learn it. Then threw the second on in, and finally started blending the two together.

By the time I got to the end... oh boy. That final dash under the falling spikes required one perfect jump over a hog and was like threading a needle.

The final section with the different environment that was relaxing and led into the final cinematic end was a nice reward after that final difficult section.

For critique -- I wished up was also jump, and felt the main character's decel to a stop was a BIT slippery for my taste, but not too bad. I also fell through a floor and got stuck inside the wall on a second playthrough doing some testing, I flew off this big drop and landed here and went straight through the floor and was stuck inside: https://imgur.com/ztO10GZ

But you got the most important parts right, like the feel of quickly ducking into hiding, and the important unreliability of jumping over a hog. It was possible, but the hog would usually get you right after anyway, which forced me to engage with your mechanics instead of skipping sections.

Art style was nice, very clean and clear and everything fit well together, and the music was enjoyable. Nice job!

Amazing work. I especially liked the introduction of the controls. The ending was surprising and leaves room for philosophical speculation. My son wanted to play this game immediately when he saw it.

Thanks for bringing your game by my stream to check out Monday night! If you'd like to watch again, you can find the highlight at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1005053845

I really love your art style and music. It's been very consistent and creative for the last few jams! Here is the VOD of my playthrough: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1003973160

Everything was clean and easy to use, physics worked well and so did the jumps and ducks! It's cool how the pigs don't move around in a predictable way.

But I wonder if you intended to have the pigs puppy-guard the checkpoint? I couldn't even get up on my feet haha game.jpg

Funny game!)) Cool graphics and sound

nablaz 2021-05-13 08:27

The game is fun to play and good looking, but like @oco I got softlocked at that checkpoint because the pigs/boars kept killing me as I respawned... If there's a way to prevent this, please let me know and I'll gladly finish the game! Cheers

Really well structured beginning of the level carefully introduced the key mechanics and concepts of the game. Loved the music and graphic style and the controls worked very well.

one-seed-fruit 2021-05-13 08:37

Wish I can sprint. The potato-pigs are so fast. I like how the they get attached to the ceiling, hahahahahahaha, what was that.

john-llyod-apolo 2021-05-13 08:52

Unique gameplay really like it and I did not expect the ending great job.

oadt 2021-05-13 09:53

This is a fun game! Also great music and cool, reduced graphics (I especially liked the pig sprite). I like that you put a checkpoint direktly before the first enemy, so you can experiment how they behave. The pigs somehow got it some strange situations that I found funny:

The short water part at the ending was a nice additional surprise. Great work!

deepak-kr 2021-05-14 10:35

It's fun game, suspended player's body effect is a nice touch.

oddarock 2021-05-17 11:56

Nice game ! The jump was a little hard to control. It took me some time to figure out how to attach the pigs to the ceiling but ot makes an intersting mechanic. The music and sounds are nice and fit well with the gameplay.
