Cute!
Very moody, good submission!
What a great unique game! I really enjoyed the concept of creating the bird one pixel at a time. The audio was nice and fit very well. Great job!
Quite a charming and relaxing game. It felt really nice watching the tree grow as a slowly filled up my bird. Well done!
Nice mood set with the pulsing colors and music. Very chill. The first phase was easy enough to figure out, but I couldn't seem to get the bird to fill in on the second phase. Not sure what I missed.
Really cute game! Definitely a super cool idea to build a bird pixel by pixel.
It took me a while to realize that the red pixels were bad, I was wondering why it was taking so long for something to happen! Maybe a little more feedback would be helpful.
But overall great game, and I'd love to see it expanded upon!
Hey, this was a nice and moody game! Took me a while to realize how to actually even progress, I am colorblind which made it kinda hard to see the different colors that were flipping there. But when I went close enough to the screen I could manage. But the music is oddly moody and good, and the story/idea behind the game is cute and very original! Even the graphics are quite original and unique. Good job :)
Thank you everyone for the feedback! I agree @adam-gaskins, we needed more feedback for the red pixels. We ran out time.
Sorry for the confusion @raffe. Next time we'll vary color and shapes.
Cute! I love a happy ending. <3
cute little game
Relaxing, cute, I like the piano exemplifying during the game. Nice entry
Cute story!
Awww, happy ending : 3
Nice little game
Very calming game, the music fitted really nicely! The gameplay matched the theme well too. Liked the way the collectibles were animated, and how the bird was built piece by piece. I think the game could have benefited by some actions/powerups to speed up the collecting process and mix up the gameplay a little, but as a jam game I can't complain much. What the red collectibles did was a bit unclear at first too. Still, I liked the simplistic design, and as has been said, the ending cutscene was cute :)
Oddly relaxing game. <3. Wish there was a bit more mechanics though.
Very cute and pretty game, I really loved the mood! I liked the colors you used for the graphics. The grass looks very nice.
Quick and simple. I rebuilt myself! :3
One thing that confused me was if I collect the blue or not. Maybe a mnimal sound effect? It did take me a while to realise red was bad though, I just saw more colours and though "Oooo a colourful bird"
I'd love to see more of this: building a family next? Feeding them? Collecting worms/corn? Pick pixels? Who knows!
Very cute, played it all the way through and enjoyed it. Simple easy to understand controls and progresion, delightful music, really enjoyed it! Great work!
Nice and peaceful take on the theme. I enjoyed the music as well.
Cute game. However, there was not much to do and I found it a bit boring after some time.
what an interesting idea for the theme, it was a bit short but fun to play, one thing though, as @itsdanidre said when collecting blue dots a sound or visual feedback effect would be nice. good job
Really cute and relaxing :)
I liked this a lot. The second level with the blue and red particles confused me though, it took me a while to realize that red was bad and should be avoided.
It was a tad repetitive, but I loved the idea of building the bird pixel by pixel~
I wasn't really sure if what I was doing was correct, but then it morphed levels, that was a nice feeling of achievement. I didn't know if what I was doing in the 2nd stage either :-( I like the piano chords building up as the bird does, neat idea.
It countains birds, which is an automatic win for me.
Simple and elegant.
I tried to make a red bird, and couldn't. Remembered the game was titled blue bird and made it so.
Calming vibe with the piano and nature.
While short, your game is pretty enough to keep you in the magic of the moment. The growing tree was a nice idea because it change the world a bit so it kept me into the experience and I was not solely focused on completing the bird.
It was a nice discovery !
Really nice game, and good take on the theme. Enjoyed it for the most part, but the red squares in level 2 were just way too numerous, and made an otherwise-relaxing game somewhat stressful (esp. since there wasn't a reliable way to clear them out).
