LD45 — Start with nothing

Are you there? by limered 2019-10-07T22:51:31Z

Amazing voice acting, the graphics are cute and the concept is very interesting. However, the enemy ai could be a bit better and a seem to be getting insta killed by the 'megahit' enemies when a group of them chase me around.

I Kept Going Forward by TCiceroDev 2019-10-08T00:56:03Z

Love the art style. The sword mechanic was something different and quite fun. However, after a while, the jump sound got a bit annoying, so adding some variation would help. Otherwise, great job!

Ragin' Racers by bitdecay 2019-10-08T03:56:45Z

Graphics and the scene looks great. The movement was very interesting and grew on me after a while. It was just a bit difficult for to keep track of where I was sometimes.

The Howler by Noa Calice 2019-10-08T20:10:54Z

Very interesting art and effects, along with a powerful message. Loved the experience.

DAY/ONE by DrunkardWolf 2019-10-08T01:23:26Z

Man, oh man the art style is nice. The overall mood is great. However, I feel like combat is a bit slow and unsatisfying.

Nullified by Coda Highland 2019-10-07T23:54:19Z

The player animation was very nice, I spent a couple minutes just walking around and admiring the art. However, the map feels a bit empty, so perhaps adding some extra details will break up the terrain.

P L A G U E T I M E by bruins 2019-10-08T01:15:30Z

Everything feels quite polished, every interaction feels super satisfying and did I mentioned that the art style is quite amazing? Well done.

Wicked Wanderings by Trifectuh 2019-10-07T23:24:00Z

The menu could look a bit better, and the controls are a bit uncomfortable (for me at least), but the audio and sprite work was quite impressive.

Start with "nothing" by sommerlilie 2019-10-07T23:40:53Z

Linux only download :( would have loved to play.

Acorn Rush by MrPiedPiper 2019-10-07T23:35:07Z

Cute graphics! Perhaps you should increase the viewport size on itch.io however.

A Phony Incarnation by JLV 2019-10-08T01:10:30Z

Wow, that was pretty great. Definitely an amazing concept that could be expanded on. Great job!

Loot Simulator 2019 by Adam Gaskins 2019-10-08T01:37:20Z

Controls feel fluid and polished, and collecting the loot at the end of each round feels rewarding and satisfying. Perhaps add some more audio feedback when hitting an enemy to give combat a bit more 'oofm', and a soundtrack playing in the background couldn't hurt. Otherwise, great job!

Loot Simulator 2019 by Adam Gaskins 2019-10-08T01:40:32Z

Oh, and to add onto the previous comment, the ai could definitely be improved to provide more interesting combat. I also take back what I said about the hit audio feedback, it's already amazing, the corpses of the enemies was also an amazing touch.

In the Beginning by GibsS 2019-10-08T01:28:30Z

Wow, amazing, truely amazing. Feels immensely atmospheric and relaxing. Amazing job!

Palely by Fluffy_Kaeloky 2019-10-08T16:03:41Z

Absolutely loved the art.

No Food Nomads by ScalphaMission 2019-10-08T00:51:33Z

Very interesting graphics and background story. I was confused at first as the visual indication for what path you want to take wasn't quite visible. Otherwise, I love the gameplay. Well done!

Bluebirds by hwaet 2019-10-08T01:00:11Z

Quite a charming and relaxing game. It felt really nice watching the tree grow as a slowly filled up my bird. Well done!

Roman & Ownin' by mharring 2019-10-08T01:33:44Z

Wow, one of the most satisfying games I've played today, the combat feels fluid and polished, not to mention how freaking nice it feels to hit multiple enemies with an arrow. This game has a ton of potential with more weapons and enemies. Amazing job!

Ships, Sharks and Shanties by Grangerer 2019-10-11T22:23:53Z

Interesting visuals, I wasn't too good at it and didn't get too far, great job!

BoxThing by Cyrolis 2019-10-07T23:47:48Z

The music, the art, the concept, all amazing. Well done.

Soulless by Nithin 2019-10-07T23:39:55Z

@bubble-boy the wall stick was intended, it was just that you couldn't actually go up the wall before getting the arms ability. I agree with the sticking being a little annoying and it was definitely something we could have streamlined. Thanks for the feedback!

Soulless by Nithin 2019-10-08T19:55:55Z

@amerigo-gazaway at one point, you have the option to pickup a powerup that grants you 'ears' to hear the music. Thanks for the feedback, glad you liked it!

Soulless by Nithin 2019-10-09T02:10:24Z

@erebus thanks for the playthrough and highlighting the points of improvement in depth as well as providing insightful feedback!

The Thrill of the Loan by TJMcDonald 2019-10-08T03:36:42Z

Very charming art style, and very entertaining story. Great job!

Nothing On Frontlines by Pavel Ivanov 2019-10-23T02:18:43Z

There was only one shooting sound, which got tiring real quick, adding some variation goes a long way. Otherwise, great job! Loved the models and animation.

Scrap Seekers by Gonzo13 2019-10-08T03:52:38Z

Looks pretty great, however, adding sound can go a long way in a project.

Zombug Slayer by jordanvang 2019-10-08T01:06:32Z

The gunplay felt quite good and the graphics was nice. I would suggest some sort of audio feedback after hitting an enemy to provide a bit more satisfaction and polish. Otherwise, well done!

Nun in the Chamber by BrokenMirrorMedia 2019-10-08T01:46:55Z

The combat and animations feel quite smooth and polished, I would just suggest spice up the enemy ai so that they don't clump up. Oh, and audio feedback when hitting enemies goes a long way to make your game feel polished.

Finding fun by ZMVL 2019-10-08T03:49:01Z

If you want to make the text at the beginning a bit more sharp, try using TextMeshPro instead of the default unity text.

Dusk Strider by Nash High 2019-10-08T01:49:54Z

Looks and sounds quite polished. The movement felt a bit hard to control and floaty though. Also, adding a soundtrack goes a long way to round off your game. Great job nonetheless!

Memories of Eleph by Leandroc 2019-10-08T00:00:58Z

Wow..... The atmosphere really is amazing. I also love the sense of urgency the draining health bar presents for you to scramble to regain your memories. Amazing. Having to restart after dying felt a bit counterproductive and a bit triggering, so perhaps retaining some of the progress would help. Still, well done on all fronts.

Tiny Asteroid by JD Parker 2019-10-07T23:31:46Z

Very nice atmosphere, the graphics and music was cute.

Sow Happy. by changemewtf 2019-10-08T00:47:18Z

Love the intro, the graphics look amazing and quite goofy. Well done.

Nothing by Georg Wacker 2019-10-08T03:44:39Z

Wow, impressive. Truely beautiful.

Stylemancer by mattdotam 2019-10-08T02:06:20Z

Woooow, that was a very interesting concept. Adding sound effects and music would have polished off the game. Amazing job nonetheless!
