Looking forward to having a look and congrats on the TDW release  Actually saw you at Unite in CPH.... but being shy all that  .... even though you made a video on it

Have a great evening :thumbsup_tone1:

kromeboy 2019-10-06 23:15

Whell... that was strange...

Great work!

clipper 2019-10-06 23:15

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, ekhm, I mean, that was intense! Always liked the style of your graphics and this time you definitely did not let me down. With audio provided it was a very wholesome experience, though I can't really call it a nice one :| (the first howl in the intro caught me offguard and scared me sh*tless xD) One thing I want to point out is that I wish there was more to it this time, but surely there was a reason for it. I'd appreciate if you tried my game as well and as a part of shameless promotion I invite you to embrace a challenge I brought upon you in one of my recent yt videos (link down), where I challenge you to "teach as much as possible in 15 minutes". Maybe you could give a few more hints on the art design? Just a loose proposition. Cheers! https://youtu.be/AAtpNYT3NIo?t=1077

Looks great! Your youtube videos actually inspired me to participate in this game jam.

pavel-ivanov 2019-10-07 01:34

Hey, nice job! Graphics are great as always! Was a bit hard to get the theme thought!

If you dont mind, check out my game: https://pavelivanov.itch.io/nothing-on-frontlines

Another Ludum Dare experience and I am happy you labeled it as such. Since there didn't seem a way to lose, I technically cannot classify this as a game. Took me a little bit to figure out how to proceed but once I did, I enjoyed the experience screaming at everything and watching the character morph as I went. Really cool effects.

erebus 2019-10-07 03:55

This was fantastic. The art was amazing! Really simple mechanics but it worked really well. Great job!

nachtwitch 2019-10-07 14:55

Really fun game, don't really understand how it fit the theme, really u loud, Jesus the graphics are amazing

sheepdog123 2019-10-07 16:58

uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....???? I... dont... understand....????

asue 2019-10-07 18:03

Graphics are really excellent, I love your art style!

xcvzxc 2019-10-07 18:08

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! this is strange... explain

adroitconceptions 2019-10-07 18:24

well.... got here from the YT video... me thinks there might be just a small amount Sodium Chloride involved in the creation of this experience.

Good artwork.

2019-10-07 18:38

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! this is strange… explain"

It's like an interactive scaling version of the painting by Edvard Munch. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Scream

keppu 2019-10-07 19:17

What a strange game, but in a unpleasantly good way.

Game uses BlackThornProd's unique graphic style with a twist. It revolves around distorting(and disturbing) visuals, flavored with nightmare inducing sound effects.

There is not much to play, but I do like the progression of the Howler monster. It escalates just enough to keep me playing to see what visual monstrosity is waiting on the next level. I would have liked to see some epic howling duel with the other monsters.

eric-kulbiej 2019-10-07 19:42

Well that was really something

nachtwitch 2019-10-07 21:29

jusus christ, stop with the screaming

gmchill 2019-10-07 22:13

this is beautiful!!!

seabird 2019-10-07 23:53

Really well done. I can't believe how much art you did in so little time. The controls were pretty smooth.

lereveur 2019-10-08 02:00

Well, that was… Intense. Don't know what your dealer have, but obviously it's a little… spicy. Good job anyway (althought a downsized resolution would permit to those who don't have a so big screen to play it too)

d4rkweasel 2019-10-08 06:26

Soooo cool! :D

monish-vyas 2019-10-08 08:51

I always enjoy art and overall experience in BTP games. Art looks so simple and yet has quite a charm. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

gamesplusjames 2019-10-08 11:07

This game was truly Godmode! I loved the art as always and the story/message got across really well! Great work!

thegameguy 2019-10-08 16:09

THis is a great game, i love the style, work effort, theme and great gameplay that this game has. I could lose myself in it forever if it were a little longer. Well done Noah.

brokenmirrormedia 2019-10-08 16:49

Very interesting game, I always love the Blackthorn Prod art style! I wasn't sure if I was missing something with this game, but I don't think I understood what was going on (or if I was even supposed to!). Overall a beautiful experience.

nathaniel-jensen 2019-10-08 18:47

Very Strange experience.

pinosaur 2019-10-08 20:10

Very interesting art and effects, along with a powerful message. Loved the experience.

appoxgames 2019-10-08 21:21

Wow, i'm like at the level 1 of howler irl. I really hate howling but if you going to survive in this industriy i think you need to have an audience. I create great games, but i dont have the audience. And i admit, i hate howling with my entire heart and hopefully i will figure out a better way to do well in this industriy. I'm impressed by the game, well done!

bodmass 2019-10-08 22:12

A strange, deafening experience. Love the art style

cybikitty 2019-10-08 22:37

Whoa, I love this! Really nice and polished with some good gameplay (and also I feel like the howler 24/7) Great work!

a-french-canadian-studios 2019-10-09 01:55

Fun experience. Always enjoy your art-style!

farlandwinter 2019-10-09 04:13

I like the visual and sound, it's amazing! But since it doesn't have a winning or fail state, it isn't like a game though, more like a interactive video clip? Just click to continue... Though I like the idea, it's interesting. Overall well done!

twelvoo 2019-10-09 05:33

Definitely helps me to release stress lol. Also I love your youtube channel!

ossi 2019-10-09 07:17

What a strange experience but a really great one at the same time. I really love your art style and how you use simple mechanics to portray a grotesquely interesting atmosphere. Great job!

noa-calice 2019-10-09 07:40

Thanks for the great feedback everyone :)!

noa-calice 2019-10-09 07:40

Really appreciated!

4quet 2019-10-09 13:13

Cool little game, with a great symbolic value and beautiful polished art style ! Maybe it lacks a bit of challenge but I guess making a challenging game was not your initial goal with this one. Great work :)

porocyonak 2019-10-09 18:25

love the artstyle! the warping effect was making me a bit nauseous though

fernando-labarta 2019-10-09 22:13

eeeeeh what? why did i enjoy this so much?

jusw85 2019-10-10 08:08

The art and mood were amazing, although I think some people might find the experience uncomfortable. Regardless, good entry!

bilalch213 2019-10-10 15:22

Great lesson behind the game! And as always, lovely art. Nice.

aden 2019-10-11 00:02

Absolutely love the game, keep it up. I noticed straight away from your art style who you where!

maxdmg 2019-10-11 04:18

Love the art style, gotta ask though. Is your artstyle inspired by Edmund McMillen? Love the work regardless, really funny game with a great feel to it. Even if I was wondering what the hell was going on throughout all of it. Really good contribution

givit-game-studios 2019-10-11 12:28

Great mood and great atmosphere. Well done. Very interesting gameplay though.

mharring 2019-10-11 20:22

I'm not sure what I just experienced, but it was... interesting. The rippling effect was a little too strong, and there didn't seem to be a way to lose (which is not inherently a bad thing), but it certainly makes you sit for a minute and think about it. Neat entry!

zenris 2019-10-11 20:52

No idea what this was, but I am sure I gonna have nightmare because of that great art hehe.

recursor 2019-10-11 21:36

I'm not sure what this is about, but the graphics and sound are nice

kaeveris 2019-10-12 11:47

Really fun yet creepy game. Straight away I knew who you are by the artstyle, it's great you have such a recognizable artstyle :) I like the sounds, the atmosphere, the mood of the game and also what you mean by this game. When you're a creative person and you post your stuff online, you want to get more watchers, followers, likes. You sometimes feel like your art is less worth if it has less likes

gamerplayer 2019-10-13 07:03

i enjoyed the game i noticed i could not build at night which was a good aspect to add

geckoo1337 2019-10-13 09:43

Really impresive work on the aesthetic, but the gameplay is a little bit too minimalist for me. I understand what you did with this first attempt, but I expected more. However (as you said at the end) it's a weird experience and I had fun playing. I like some visual effects and sounds. Well done. Please you could rate other games too. Don't be so selfish. Thank you ++

majadroid 2019-10-13 21:29

Unique artwork, fantastic.

davidsimon 2019-10-16 19:26

A very...ehm...disturbing game

kuro 2019-10-17 17:28

srsly WTF

5*

solah 2019-10-21 20:03

Wow

toxiccomputer 2019-10-22 23:05

Good job. Screaming Audio Was a little loud.

virimine 2019-10-28 23:49

You know you are a good artist when people recognise your art style. I had seen some of your videos, way back, and the art style of the game reminded of them. I didn't realize it was you until I watched he video of the game which felt even more familiar so I decided to check your channel and I was right! It was you! Good job!! Keep up the good work!!
