LD44 — Your life is currency

Life of a Hoarder by spidamoo 2019-04-30T16:33:20Z

I really enjoyed the concept. It adds another dimension to the equation of deciding which towns to raid. It was a little difficult at the beginning because I didn't see all the game stats at first and didn't know whether I was doing it right. I found the numbers a little too small to be easily readable, especially with the hand-drawn style.

Root Maker by Joe Bustamante 2019-05-02T01:19:07Z

@hare-software @matthew-hrehirchuk Thanks for the feedback! I'll take the "feels like work" comment as partial compliment, but yeah the usability still needs some work. The switching between mouse and keyboard leave a lot to be desired. That's definitely on our radar for post-jam improvements.

Hospital Horrors by PseudoBytes 2019-04-30T16:35:43Z

Wish I could play it, but the keyboard inputs (WASD) didn't work for me in the HTML5 web version.

Skeleton's Gamble by chompdev 2019-05-03T01:27:24Z

This was great! In addition to the fun mechanics of losing the different body parts, the puzzle design did a good job of introducing new considerations and new mechanics incrementally. Super fun little game!

Ball of Duty: Special Drops by LandoSystems 2019-10-08T01:48:43Z

That was a riot! I couldn't stop! If only I could really make that much money building a custom pachinko game :)

The controls were intuitive, the upgrades were fun and really added to the game as I progressed through. Not many games crank it up to 11 by the end of the weekend but this one did!

Pangolin in the Sky by ThePelranthean 2019-10-08T02:26:08Z

Nice work! The concept is solid and I like the interpretation of the theme. The controls probably need a little polishing to make it a more intuitive game - I had some struggles with moving the camera around in the close camera view and some while trying to click the squares to place tiles. Overall though, very nicely done for such a short time to work!

Beggars Can Be Choosers by Herman Chau 2019-10-08T01:25:13Z

Nicely done! I enjoyed the ambiance and the quirky feel of the game. Very creative mix of gameplay and topic.

Rock It Or Pocket by Ellis Spice 2019-10-08T00:43:07Z

That was fun. The controls worked well for me and gave enough direction to give me a chance at making it in a pocket. Nice interpretation of the theme!

Warp Trash Flotilla by GoogleFrog 2019-10-08T02:08:24Z

Loved your work on this! It took a few tries to get a hold on the mechanics and start being a bit more selective about what components I picked up. The mechanics were really fun and I could see this going a lot further. As mentioned, being able to assign key groups to components would be awesome, or being able to jettison certain parts. Nice job!

Runed Memory by ComicSans 2019-10-08T01:14:40Z

That was fun! I liked having to figure out the rune combinations to unlock the different spells. It was pretty easy once I unlocked fireball. Really enjoyed the rocket wizard :)

Bluebirds by hwaet 2019-10-08T01:02:40Z

Nice mood set with the pulsing colors and music. Very chill. The first phase was easy enough to figure out, but I couldn't seem to get the bird to fill in on the second phase. Not sure what I missed.

Fall of RS-17 Icarus - an Akaban Tale by Kooshy 2019-10-08T02:39:08Z

You set a great mood and I enjoyed walking through the ship. I fell through the door my first time and watched the ship and star fade into the distance. Nice work for such a short timeframe!

Monkey Mountain Holiday! by scalliondelight 2019-10-08T02:14:44Z

Really liked the art style. Unfortunately, I repeatedly got stuck on or between monkeys and couldn't jump or attack. Really good interpretation of the theme and I could see this going much further with more time.

You Are Nothing by Sefirost 2019-10-08T00:55:29Z

Took a minute to figure out what was happening at the start - was really hard to see the character. Really liked the dynamic feel of the game, with the changing light and music. Very nice touch. I collected all the colored lights twice but then died when someone touched me and wasn't sure where to go from there.
