Interesting concept. I had a bit of trouble typing capital letters.

sydream 2020-04-21 11:17

I had fun playing this, well polished, nice pixel art, easy to understand and play through. I too had problem with the capital letters, I guess it has something to do with the way you capture the input events.

@lvl76blastoise @sydream thanks so much for playing! Appreciate the feedback. Yea, there was a bug with input handling that made it difficult to correctly recognize capital letters. This has been fixed and now all input should be correctly recognized! Thanks again (:

Well polished game with amazing audio and a nice concept behind it! Loved it alot!

*(Confused expression intensified)... Your mic is muted*

What an amazing game! Seriously, this is one of my favorite entires yet...possibly even out of any Ludum Dare! The gameplay is super fun. It's a race-against-the-clock resource management game, but with the unique twist of adding on a speed typing component as well. I had so much fun playing it!

Additionally, the theme is quite timely and executed well. The conversation snippets are hilarious and relatable to those of us who have been enduring conference calls these past months. The sprites are charming. The only factor that I think could be improved is some added music!

Congratulations to all of you for completing a great game and thank you for sharing!

The game is really nice, i mean it has a cuteness to it. The artowrk is consistent and works with the overall theme you aiming for. The gameplay though is a bit slow. Typing is not a challenge, they are like mini challenges which could have been a bit challenging to make gameplay immersive ... or this could have been muli task maintainence game. Anyway something to think about.

Fun and cute game, with a nice amount of humour thrown in! I do agree with some others that a little more challenge would be fun as once you have the hang of it typing is quite easy, though the game does seem to increase in difficulty as you go on! Nice job!

joe-bustamante 2020-04-21 19:18

@aryanjumani @vivek-sharma20 @seriouslycrunchy thanks so much everyone for playing, glad you liked it! Yea, it does start off pretty easy (and the typing itself isn't challenging) but hopefully the difficulty picks up pretty quick as the resource management aspect kicks in. Would love to see the score you all were able to get!

joe-bustamante 2020-04-21 19:20

@joe-cowman wow, thanks so much for such awesome feedback! We really appreciate you taking the time to post all that, and for the really kind words (: Glad that you enjoyed some of the humor and found it pretty topical (as someone who also has spent the last month on countless virtual calls)!

ajahks 2020-04-21 22:14

Really well made and fun game! I found it really compelling to manage all of the systems! And I get to work on my typing as a plus. One thing to add would be some really frantic music to help with the atmosphere, but otherwise really cool!

maximeg 2020-04-21 22:17

Great game, I'm glad to see typing game !

sirsnowy7 2020-04-21 22:28

I liked this one a lot. Was really fun to play compared to a lot of other games in the jam. Although I did experience a lot of lag, but I think that was just my Chromebook lol. Good game, man

the game is so fun at first i didnt know what to do you should add a tutorial to help players know what each thing does but i like it the art is so cool too ! great job :D

christopher-wong 2020-04-21 22:35

This was really fun, I enjoyed playing the game and liked how to manage stress and wifi but I didn't like the music in the beginning as it sounded choppy though it could just be my computer. Great job.

zesix 2020-04-21 22:37

I have a soft spot for typing games and I'm glad to see the optimized production here, utilizing kenny assets to make up for graphical skills. Was fun for me to play but the difficulty spiked pretty fast. I imagine if there was more time there would be more gameplay testing, but that's understandable in an event like this. Great entry nonetheless, well done.

Too real. Great work! Also awesome that this was made with Godot. Overall this feels very polished. Love the wifi names.

sticmac 2020-04-21 22:41

Your game really made me laugh, I love the concept of it! This is very funny, very interesting, and I felt very satisfied to use my typewriting skills to play a game :smiling_imp: Yeah really loved your game, congratulations on that one!

cmrobbie 2020-04-22 21:58

My current favorite! Super fun, interesting mechanic, but the balancing seems off, eventually it gets genuinely impossible to do everything at once.

frederika 2020-05-05 02:02

This hits close to home! I love the idea and humor was great. It does get too difficult to continue, but it was fun to play until then.

evan-minto 2020-05-05 02:05

Pretty fun! I wasn’t expecting a typing game in there, but it works well as a way of breaking up the fast pace of running around. I had to really control myself so I didn’t get hyped up and mistype.

It did take me a little while to figure out how to activate each station and how the typing mini-game worked, however.
