Outstanding! It's a great take on the theme, a genuinely challenging puzzler, it made me laugh out loud a couple of times (losing a skull, and the "it'll cost you an arm and a leg" cliche in particular), it's really clever and I played it through to the end because it deserved that. The best game I've played so far in terms of fun and innovation. Well done!

Very cute game! The puzzles were not too hard but I liked all the different states the player can get into by losing body parts!
Wow! This is a really unique idea! It would be really cool if giving away certain body parts caused certain trade offs, such as giving away arms not only making you unable to pull levers, but also giving you the ability to jump higher. Great, great game in general!
Got to the end! Second to last puzzle was really clever, great execution!
Oh and the reduced visible area when you lose your head was classic!

Really good entry. I like the take on the theme; I did a similar sort of game for a Game Maker jam but I didn't execute it as well as you've done here. The puzzles were intuitive and the fast restart with small levels kept them from getting frustrating. Good presentation and good execution, I hope you make more levels for this!

Nice concept! The puzzles are pretty clever, and everything was well made. I think the platform collision is a bit unforgiving, one particular jump required some pretty precise timing. Solid entry.

@wongkongphooey Thanks for the kind words! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. I wasn't sure that "arm and a leg" part would read properly, hah, so that's cool that you noticed it!
@sylvie Thank you! It would definitely be fun to add some harder levels later, and I hope I have time to expand the idea a bit.
@flashviper Ooh, I really like that idea. I was musing about letting the player detach an arm and throw it over a wall or across a gap to activate buttons. You're absolutely right that adding more trade-offs would really enrich the gameplay.
@benmcnelly Thanks very much! That's awesome that you made it to the end.
@kodiqi Much appreciated! I agree about the smaller levels and fast restarts; that definitely seemed to help the pacing. Would be fun to add some new mechanics and levels later for sure!
@alchemic Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed playing it. I totally agree on the platforming - there were definitely a few clunky areas that need tuning. Looking forward to polishing a few of these details when I have time.
@sir-shoe I appreciate you playing through it! Glad you found it fun :)
@mrjoshuamclean Thanks very much for the excellent feedback and the time you spent finishing the entire game on stream! You made some great suggestions for quality-of-life fixes and features that I'm looking forward to implementing soon. I'll be following your channel and recommending your LD44 content!
This game has good design, and I like the challenge of solving the puzzles given by the game. Post jam, some suggestions would be to add animations to the skeleton if you will continue this project. Maybe add screen effects and more particles. The sound effects could use work, but they are serviceable. There are no real issues i have found in this game, so good job on this one!
Probably the best game I've seen here so far. Really fun and cute. I loved the little puzzles. I just wish there was more. With a little bit of polish and a more levels, this is definitely a small game I could buy on Steam. Great job!
This was great! In addition to the fun mechanics of losing the different body parts, the puzzle design did a good job of introducing new considerations and new mechanics incrementally. Super fun little game!
Ahh, great concept! Had a lot of fun solving the puzzles too. Good job!

I reallllly enjoyed how changing your character changed the play options available for them, and their animation. Would love to see an expanded version of the idea that gave you choice what to leave behind on a given switch.

Very nice puzzle design, and well thought out progression.
game is cool but the screen was very big so could not reset but interesting proposal.
This was such a cool idea! I like how you played with the theme - using different body parts as a means to solve puzzles was really clever, and you executed it really well. The puzzles here were the perfect balance of simple yet learnable - I never felt frustrated after dying, and I always had an "oh, that's what I need to do!" moment. The graphics were simple but worked with it, and the audio was great - nice background music, and the sound effects were pretty good. Overall, a really awesome game! Would love to play this with more levels one day.

@kivelocity Good recommendations! Adding unique animations for each body configuration would really add a lot of personality. Going point about the effects and particles too - the world definitely feels a bit static without some of that polish. Would love to add more features and fine-tuning soon. Thanks for the great feedback!
@rob-avery Thanks so much for the encouragement! Would love to take this idea further sometime :)
@jason-porritt Much appreciated! I've been working on how best to introduce new mechanics at a steady and interesting pace. Glad you had fun!
@maggardjosh Thank you!
@elrobo Great idea! Being able to choose which limb to trade at certain gates would add some really interesting choices. That would also be great for opening up alternate puzzle solutions and allowing the player to think outside the box.
@tony-li Thanks, Tony!
@miltonsilva Good feedback - thanks! I'm working on implementing some better scaling/fullscreen options that should solve that problem.
@joe-bustamante Thank you, Joe! That's great to hear that you liked the pacing and difficulty curve. The graphics could definitely use some love :) Thanks for playing through it - it'd be awesome to add some new levels and mechanics later on!

Best exploitation of the theme I've seen so far, original and fun! Clever-but-doable puzzles, I made it to the end! (SFX is a little too brutal to my tastes, I found it to be a little annoying after a while.)

You win! I played it through and enjoyed it a lot. :slight_smile:
