Nice graphics and mood! I find the matrix mechanic especially fun and innovative. I think a little bit more feedback on players' actions would make it clearer how to progress.

creative
Oh wow, easy 5 for humor and graphics. Great job, I really liked this!!
Haha, what a creative mechanic. I love the feed thing where you have to pick words out of the matrix, excellent! I wish I understood the blood/sweat/tears thing better. My sweat seems to go down when I do stuff, but I can't find any way to push it back up.
The matrix thing to see the trends is really awesome, I've never seen anything like that in a game before. I think it might be a little glitchy, most of the time I hit the appraise button I was kicked back to the hub area and I don't think anything happened. Really like the silly creatures you can make.
I loved your game!
Neat game. I ended up breaking something, because at one point I had -3 sweat, 100k followers, and the Feed would crash immediately every time I tried to open it...
I like the flow of researching trends, buying parts, assembling creatures, and putting them in the studio. I felt invested in my misshapen blobs of octopus flesh.
Well done for 72 hours.
Lol. Yeah. The feed requires sweat. But that's not really obvious to anyone.
You definitely nailed the theme, maybe the hardest part of this jam :P
Lots of great ideas there, feed mechanic is brilliant. Way too easy to get all the parts and influence trends without using it though.
Great concept! The matrix mechanic was seriously fun. I had a bit of trouble moving between the lab and the studio. My creatures wouldn't always show up.
@hwaet Thanks for playing. I'll log that bug in case we decide to continue development after the jam. Can you give me any more details about the situation? https://github.com/godot-wildlings/Bioenfluencer/issues/18
This is surreal. Props for creativity! :D
I found it quite fun when i figured out how to play, well done for 72 hours
Nice mechanics and concept here. I really liked the take on the theme and that the game was unique. The matrix mehcanic is cool too, and the overall gamefeel is certainly there. Unfortunately, I ran out of stuff to do after a short while and I wasn't sure, whether I messed up something or not. Nice job!
@vanleiden Thanks. Surreal is a good description.
@szabe Thanks for playing! You didn't mess up. The economy could use some tweaking and we need some more content. (more creature parts, more stories to rechirp, some unique events maybe)
@sebeee Awesome. Thanks for playing. Glad you enjoyed it.
oh no.PNG
There may be a small bug when you rest
BTW: For anyone who comments here, we'll play and rate your game too. Good guy developers.
@nebulousharmony Lol. "small" bug. :) That one definitely needs attention. Thanks for spotting it. I've added it to the list: https://github.com/godot-wildlings/Bioenfluencer/issues/8
creative game and superb idea! only thing I missed was a clearer objective and an idea of what I was doing
@humnyn Thanks for playing! I've added an issue to our github to reflect that problem. Hopefully we can properly address it later. https://github.com/godot-wildlings/Bioenfluencer/issues/23
Nice interpretation of the theme, and some satisfying interactions in there :) I found a couple of times I made a creature, hit appraise and got booted out without seeing what it was worth tho (and then the creature was gone from the studio). After that happened twice in a row, I gave up, cos that bit was the satisfying part :) The theming of the world, and the creature building are both fun elements!
Great idea with the scrolling feed. Fun game and fun graphics
Thanks @xmpted , That sounds like a bug. I've added it to our tracker: https://github.com/godot-wildlings/Bioenfluencer/issues/24
Probably an easy fix, but I'll wait until the rating period is over to be fair.
Thanks for playing @fear-games . We'll play and rate your game as well. :)
Good, solid, fun game :-) really like the pixel art and the funky audio
Funny Idea. The matrix is very well done.
this was a realy intresting consepit well done
Cool concept! Definitely a lot of humorous combos in there. Great work!
+1 for Feed screen - well done! Good potential in the Studio section. Rest, blood, and sweat were a little confusing. Did notice the weeks were progressing with rest, and sweat reduced during feed. Wasn't certain about muscular parts, but the lizard bits seemed to work really well. Overall great job!
I mostly liked being able to come up with all different kinds of creatures. That was really cool!
Very interesting ! I love the idea. The game really haves good mechanics. It seems quite buggy though, sometimes the creature I created disappears and I can't sale it. The graphics are very beautiful, but sometimes the head of the creature disappears in its torso. Your should really continue developping it, it is a very nice idea ! I created a bird-lizard crature named kawaii green or something like that, I saled it and now I have 4850208 followers, so I guess I won... By looking on the feed you can easily find what creature you should build. I don't know how to regenerate my sweat, tears and blood, when I rest it does nothing. It was although very fun, so congratulations !
Graphics are good; try adding some shading, so they pop-out a bit more.
Nice concept, I did especially like the Feed mechanisms (cool idea!). Combining creature parts was fun as well.
Excellent game! Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the story setting. A bit confusing how the blood, sweat and tears works. Good work!
I love the humour of this! :D Assembling mutated creatures for social media - why not?
Once I figured out how it worked, I immediately got 4.5k followers with my first creature though, so I could immediately buy all body parts. What I was missing was a general goal or feedback for my progress.

It's well realized ! The theme is quite fun and graphics too. Feedbacks is the only missing things.
Great concept, i really like the pixel art, quite a unique style
This was hilarious to play. What a reflection of today. Have any streamers played it? I think that'd be interesting. I agree with what others have said about feedback and more explanation of what each action costs or does. I did click the WTF button, but it wasn't as clear as I thought it could be. Overall, good job guys!
The HTML version had a few bugs, but I had a blast playing it. I would make a good influencer!
Funny little game.
@myrmyxo Congratulations, you broke the internet! Turns out there was a one-letter typo bug in our code which prevented players from regaining sweat. I've uploaded the one-letter fix version (and left the original there as well.)
There's many more bugs we should fix, but I'll leave that until after the ratings period is over.
Thank you for submitting your game to be played on my stream!
Once the stream is finished you can find the video here: https://www.twitch.tv/ursagames/videos If you want to know when it was played you can find your game in the queue here: https://tinyurl.com/y5rdokvp
Such a fun experience, playing around with the different parts and such. I wish there would have been more parts to unlock, but I had a great time with what was given to me already!
Interesting take on the life sim genre, I like the idea of combining monster parts. Wish we saw more of the monsters though and some sounds would have gone far. Overall, pretty good.
I loved the feed (as many others), the mood and the black --mirror-- humor! Perhaps adding costly exquisite parts would engage a lot the player. It might be nice on mobile as well, so you can share you creatures on whatever social media ;)
Congrats!
Nice work... Took a few tries to get the hang of it but I got there. Perhaps vary the music up a little so it doesn't loop quite so often. More monsters would've been nice as well.
Great idea, I feel like you've got a very interesting world here! I don't really have much to critique except maybe make a tutorial on how to play, it was a bit confusing at first. Nice entry, I hope you expand on it more!
That is a cool idea, it reminds me of one of my first LDJam games a long time ago.
It was not very clear to me the costs of actions in blood, tears and sweat -- maybe make it a bit more explicit in your interface? Also it was not very clear the relationships between parts and trends: I got a trend for "Zombie" and a trend for "Kawaii", but none of the parts seemed to match...
Thanks for the game!
Nice!, you should invest more in the juiceness your game could achieve, maybe add some flashing lights to the studio taking pictures of your monsters, few "like hands" and "signature bells" raising as a feedback of your followers, some ambience to your room, like a noise generator, your protagonist making noises while asleep, some flies to reflect the firtyness of the apartment, few vfx and sfx enhancement on the lab as you manipulate your brood, and even some sci fish sfx on the feeds screen
@ivan-garcia-filho Thanks for the awesome suggestions! We'll add those to our project plan for the post-jam version.
The game eventually gets redundant and seems to not really progress. I love the concept, artwork, and story. There just needed to be more to do, but you accomplished a lot in a short time.
That was cool. Had a hard time just figuring out how the studio portion worked. Didn't really see the list of creatures on the side and kept trying to build new ones and take them there, but didn't see them. Suddenly I had a few ready to go. Think I lost at one point and after restarting the purchased parts were still purchased. Some differing costs for the parts would be good. Once getting one good creature sold it was no problem to buy all the parts and get into an easy follower cycle.
Really neat concept setting up your own genetic monster making workshop, I'd love to see this further developed into a fully fledged business simulator with some monster fighting action!
The stats at the top are a bit hard to figure out what does what. I only figured out that sweat stops you from entering the matrix.
I played the HTML5 version and the post jam and it's nice to the adjustments / fixes and improvements to the gameplay that you made.
Nice game! I have enjoyed it. "flowers are live" Is nice idea.
