Great fun! Try to vary the music a little, as it gets repetitive. Everything else, bravo!

Hilarious. I loved it!
Nice work! I enjoyed riding around blowing everything up, but wasn't sure what the win conditions were... art/music were very well suited together. Well done, excellent entry,.
brilliant! funny and addictive. well done!
@verbante @steffanie @scott-purcival @darrenh @zeta0134 @aurelwuensch @batlordz @vivek-sharma20 @bustosman @wetbox @hagrida Thank you all for your comments about the music/SFX. I really enjoyed making the audio and soundtrack for this game, it was partly inspired by the Megaman tracks, as well as others like Sonic etc., but also the amazing work of @minibobbo himself, whom i've been very fortunate to work alongside! His enthusiasm and vision are what made this game come to life
Beautiful graphics and a unique concept. I'm disappointed that there's no music/sound! That could've added so much more to the game. Also, some in-game instructions would help players understand better. Excellent work though, keep at it!
Good one! I would personally hide my butt files in a folder that is a little more discreetly named though...
challenging! very nice concept. I think it would work better if the dead enemies blocked enemy shots, which might add a little more of a tactical element to the game, i.e. destroy cover for points or use it for defence etc. Graphics look great except lettering/typography and background. hand drawn would fit your design a lot better. Well done, good start and solid entry :)
Awesome! Not sure how someone reached 96000 points!?! I got to around 500.... I'm gonna go try for the 1000 mark now. My only complaint is the lack of music, it would've been nice for the music to tie in dynamically with the point multiplier. Lots of potential there for that. Graphics and FX tie in very well.job well done!
Serious kudos to you all. Very well designed overall and a unique concept. Definitely one of my favourite entries so far! :)
Excellent. Great artwork and sound design. Well done.
Check that the audio is looping properly, there is a slight skip as it returns. Keep working on it, it's a great concept! Adding extra variables to the challenge might help to vary the gameplay, as well as other forms of defence to give the clicking hand a break!
Beautiful artwork! Very eye-catching. The audio needs a complete overhaul, however. Music does not loop smoothly, nor fit properly and FX are unbalanced. Removing the music would be better than how it currently is. The controls could be improved. Nice logo! :)
Nice work! beautiful art work, brilliant sound design.
Excellent entry. palette swap was a nice touch! I found the weapon swap a little difficult, so maybe a different key for each weapon as others have suggested. Very challenging! Well done.
Awesome! For future development, i would consider including some form of upgrade system/powerups to help deal with large groups of enemies. e.g. shotgun/rocket launcher/penetrating weapon like a laser that cuts through lines of enemies. I would also create music that fits the game a little better, i.e. faster paced to match the gameplay, and several tracks for different levels etc. Perhaps consider adding multiplayer? Having an extra player would help with enemies but also punish hard when two players miss the target! Definitely in my top 10 that I've played so far, well done.
@ytaha Well please get in touch with me if you need music! My details can be found on my profile!
Nice one! I would have liked the ability to place buildings behind ones I already placed, or to be able to rotate the camera, unless I missed this feature. Very fun game that matched the theme well.
The art is incredible for such a short jam. Damn! There's room for expansion in terms of gameplay (you could even reuse the art in a much bigger game). It fits the theme well and is full of character. Well done!
Awesome game. Really quite mesmerising to play, and see how the world ends up! Well done.
Nice one! Cool art and a great concept. Fits the theme very well. Some music/FX will help bring this to life even more. Bravo!
Great game. I really liked the art style and overall design. I felt that the levels were either too easy or too hard, one of the smaller more confined rooms with loads of enemies and lasers. Would be nice to see some weapon upgrades to help deal with all those groups of enemies. Almost has a metroidvania kinda vibe to it, which I appreciate. I found the loading screens a little too much, definitely vary it a little. SFX were well done. Music on the whole was fitting, however one of the music tracks/parts was grating the one with the voice that repeats. Lose/change that part and it's on point. Definitely one of my favourite entries so far. Well done.
Made me realise I suck at typing! good challenge! Graphics could do with a little work and the sound design, but great work!
Good game! Very well put together in all aspects. One of my favorite entries so far :)
Some music would have helped to give more life to the game! SFX worked well though. The numbers in combat were confusing and I just ended up clicking randomly. Maybe a little tutorial would help players understand the mechanics better. Great artwork!
Great start! Would be cool to see this developed further! Get some decent music in there and some other survival elements and you'll have an awesome game
Although I don't like sushi I enjoyed your game! Very nice art and animations. Definitely add a timer, as others have said, to turn up the heat a little. Good entry, well done.
excellent concept and implementation. The only thing missing is music!
Nice work! Once I figured out how it works, the turn based element, it all made sense! Very enjoyable game, everything came together nicely :)
Great fun to play and beautiful graphics, well done. Sadly the HTML version crashed my computer, but downloadable one worked fine.
Loved it!!! Sound and visuals perfectly matched. Very challenging yet addictive!
Wow! Loved it! Very atmospheric and creepy. Keep working on it!
The controls are a little confusing. it would be better to give much freer control of the character. Interesting concept, definitely unique. With some polish this could be a very good game!
Looking good! Would have liked the ability to move up/down as well as left/right. Then maybe some moving obstacles for maximum punishment :) Great start!
Beautiful game. Your victory theme sounded somewhat familiar ;) The jump sound was a little too loud. Perhaps give the player something else to do to best utilise those amazing graphics/animations, and make level screen transitions a little more understandable!
nice work. The game is very short but you have a decent concept to work with and turn into a larger game. Some more work can be done audio-wise, like music that responds to the thoughts as well as things like whispers and laughter that creep in as anxiety increases.
Good concept! I liked the voices, ads and the overall level design! I found the controls a little too clunky though. Difficult to control especially with long jumps. Overall, Well done!
Nice work! Graphics/gameplay and sound design fit in very well together. Well done.
Great concept! Mechanics are well implemented, level design solid. Challenging but fair, as the sword movement is slow but keeps you from feeling overpowered. However, graphics, mainly typography, are lacking polish. Audio needs work, especially the music which is far too repetitive. Keep it up though! With a few tweaks this would be a great entry.
A very good start. The game itself is very punishing but rewarding. Controls are smooth but I found some of the sideways spikes a little off, dying when I was sure I cleared them. Interesting choice of music in the first level! the polar opposite of what you'd expect from such a frantic game. It works in an ironic kind of way! Good work overall!
Brilliant job! Loved it. Just add music and FX for that extra polish. maybe some more levels as well. Bravo :)
Nice graphics! certainly challenging, but the levels are short enough to encourage a replay, even after dying several times! I liked the concept. I thought the music was a little too slow for such a frantic fast paced game. It fits the menu very well, but it would've been nice to see variation when the gameplay starts. Theres also a really heavy rumbling when the level kicks in that is detracting. I'm testing it in my studio and had to turn my subs off as they were booming so much! SFX were great, same issue with the rocket though. Only minor things though, well done with the game! Good luck to you all.
Interesting concept! Good variety and a definite challenge.
Great work! I like the added abilities and the option to skip levels, for terrible gamers like myself. Well done.
Fantastic. The concept is excellent and very well put together. Beautiful artwork. Sound effects are very well done. A couple of critiques.. I lost control of the character a couple of times and ended up in the sea! Wasn't sure if this was intentional after being hit but it seemed that the controls locked. The battle music should be a little more upbeat to fit the frantic nature of the game. I didn't see the danger of ground being destroyed by the bombs, as I could walk through the sea no problem. Only small things though, well done!
I liked it. Especially the distorted effect when you die several times to make it more difficult. Those damn balls!
More instructions needed. Took me a few tries to figure out that you can double jump. Work on your sound sets and music. And give us time to move before getting eaten!
Well done! Beautiful graphics. Music excellent but a few more needed for variety. One of the lead synths in the score felt a little out of place for me, maybe just bring it down in the mix or -8ve. FX are the best I've heard yet in a LD game, well done. There weren't many other issues I noticed at all except some of the text instructions didn't fit the screen, the one where you're told to reset time if failed. I also found the character unresponsive at times which would lead me to overpress buttons leading to mistakes. Minor tweaks. Awesome game. Nicely done.
Nice work. Beautiful art and fitting music. Maybe include some different events to make the game a little more tactical? Or instead of head on battle, some kind of ambush tactics that cost more food, but more men survive? Just some ideas :D Good job
Nice work! I love the visuals and the music track is well written, especially the initial hit that brings the game in. Perhaps introduce some new music to reflect whats happening on screen, like when performing well/not so well. And definitely a game over track. Otherwise, it kinda feels like background and doesn't always contribute to whats happening.
I felt that some of the physics were questionable, as I would smash some of the pins and they would jump up but stay there? And that the ball just disintegrates if its not thrown hard enough?
I really enjoyed the artwork and it looks great overall. It would be nice to see the little demons play a part in the background, even if its just to distract you... or perhaps interfere in a different game mode.
Great job!
Nice work! Wonderful graphics here and pretty intense gameplay. Maybe some of the powerups, like the comet, should actually damage the earth as well? But well done with this, I had great fun playing it!
Awesome! Played it all the way through to the end. Charming music and design... Could do with some more content post jam.. And perhaps more involved combat and new locations to discover. Well done!
Took me a while to get the hang of it, but great work here. Very ambition project for such a small timescale, perhaps a little too much! Visually it looks great, especially the night sky. Some of the animations were a little rushed, like the crash explosion (naturally the first things I tried to do) and the aircraft controls were a little boxy. The music was fitting and adds a sense of eerieness to the experience. Maybe some of the SFX could be enhanced. I'm sure though with some post-jam polish this would be amazing. :)
Maybe give the player a few seconds before starting gameplay. Nice visuals though, and a challenging experience.
Really interesting puzzle game. Very unique and innovative. Nice graphics and it was quite funny putting the organs in the wrong way round haha!
Some of the environmental graphics were really pretty. Maybe work on your character models some more... Zombies in tuxedos aren't all that scary ;) Also, perhaps some attack animations might be quite nice.
I freaking love this game, and is probably my favorite so far. As a jazz musician I approve. I like how the chords are endless and the melody notes form parts of the chord. The rhythm section could be improved a little, the drummer should be always accenting beats 2 and 4 with the ride in between. If not using ride, the hi hat should click strongest on those beats. This is only occasionally it seems, as some of the loops are hitting them perfectly. As a concept, i can't get enough of it and really like 'improvising' and trying to choose the best notes. I would suggest including a tutorial, so that non-musician players can jump right in. it's also great because its not another musical 'beat' matching game which doesn't need a creative ear. I can see this becoming a valuable teaching aid for performers and improvisers, as you can include more info on screen, like intervals/note names/chord names and go as far as you like. You could offer the option to change the groove to samba/bossa/funk/double or half time etc. like jazz musicians do in concert, maybe for bonus cash or something? As well as including more extended chord sequences. theres potential for loads of great things post jam.. The best thing about this game is as that its a really fun vehicle for spreading the jazz-love. Well done!
I honestly didn't like not being able to control the character myself... What if I want to just eat junkfood all the time? I don't want lettuce... You have some nice artwork and animation, so perhaps improve the mechanics to make gameplay more involved.
Excellent job. Nice graphics. As you've already mentioned, the music could do with some variety. Maybe just additional post-jam content would help the game to flourish. Nice work.
Artwork is great and very fitting music.I loved the intro cutscene! and look forward to seeing more :)
Nice. I actually liked the absence of music, but having some ambient wind sound would've added more atmosphere. Perhaps add some music for the boss battle? Also, the peasants seem to have eyes on the back of their heads haha. makes it hard to sneak up on them, along with their ultra flexible shoulders. Great visuals though and a concept that fits the theme so well.
Very nice. The highlight for me was the opening cutscene, although the dialog was a little slow. The actual level design could do with a little polish I feel, to match the cutscene design a little more. And the controls were a little difficult with the boss battle, and I managed to win just by hammering space bar. The music could do with a little more intensity to match the context. Overall, a very funny game and great fun. I'm sure with a little more polish and additional content this game will go far, as I'm sure people who work 9-5 will relate to it!
Very well designed visually, it looks incredible. Your colour choices/graphic design come together so well. Good choice of music. I think you could definitely take this game a lot further, but the 'spending health for upgrades' element doesn't seem very logical, but does fit the theme of course. I would get rid of that and turn this into a badass fighting/strategy game, or some form of RPG :)
Nice graphics. Very innovative. Maybe include some additional features to maintain interest after the first few levels.
Nice art and physics! I wish there was a little more to do though. I'm sure with some post-jam content this game will be fantastic, or use this game as a mini-game/level for a larger game. Also, a little rowing animation would add a nice touch :)
Nice graphics! You accomplished the sinister mood very well overall :)
Nicely done. Music, graphics and gameplay come together great here. Reminds me of my old gameboy games. Great entry.
Very nice ambience overall... The intro track reminded me of the Resident evil safe room :)
Double check the audio balance. Some of the SFX are a little loud compared to music. Maybe have some kind of sound when health gets low, or an indication on screen. Very nice visuals though, well done.
Very nice. Beautiful artwork, reminds me of something I might have seen on cartoon network. Great job overall. Challenging and fun!
:O That was a mindf**k haha! Excellent game, one of my top 5 so far.. I loved the mood you created with the music and visuals, in addition to the schizophrenic popups. With some additional content and clear direction this game will kick ass! Well done.
Nicely done! Some sounds would've added more depth ;) Graphics and environment were well designed.
Very pretty. Solid entry. You managed to fit in so much content in a short amount of time. Very well done :D
Who needs music, right? ;)
Very pretty. Challenging! Especially with the range of attacks he has. I managed to beat him by maxing out the strength and hammering attack as much as possible. Would be great to see more content, bosses and perhaps regular enemies. The music sounds a little too diatonic to fit the boss 'mood.' I really like the art style though.
Nice artwork and graphics overall. The jump control seemed unresponsive sometimes though. Some music would also be nice
beautiful water effects. Its so mesmerising with the reflection. However, there was no clear direction or objective so it felt sort of wasted in a way... Add those, or integrate your amazing water effects into another title and you're onto a winner :)
I love it! This game is definitely in my top 5. However, this game NEEDS music and SFX without question to take it to the next level. Even if its just environmental ambient sounds. Maybe add some different attacks/weapons for variety. The difficulty works well as it feels more tactical. How far are you considering taking this game? Please don't abandon it! I think this could be great :)
This game is great! very funny and entertaining. Very innovative use of the theme. I'd like to see more content and for this game to go further post-jam. Maybe being able to expand the hospital? Hire additional doctors? :)
Nice art. Music and sound would add more weight to the actions and the gameplay. Great job though
Nice! But piggybanks in...... space? Interesting! Was challenging and entertaining enough to keep going until I could eat everything in my path. Maybe add a control to 'sprint' or something? To make piggy move a little faster. Music was a little repetitive, but the game is only short anyway. maybe add a few variations of the coin sound.
Maybe have some kind of indication that the character is dying other than the little gauges at the top? Maybe some kind of animation that he's running out of steam. Good work though, nice art.
Some nice visuals here that match together well. The audio side was lacking though... I've never used a banana as a weapon before, so nice work :)
Really nice graphics and art. The initial area was beautiful and full of detail but the dungeon felt a little lacking. Perhaps go a little darker and maybe less generous use of lighting? Suspenseful music etc.. Some of the sound FX, particularly the sword, were a little artificial sounding. With a touch of post-jam polish, this game will be amazing though, as all the fundamentals are there. Nice work!
Very nice start. You accomplished a lot in a short amount of time... I'm sure with some extra post-jam polish this game will be great. I would definitely revisit the bullets as they look like oranges.. and they move a little slow in my opinion. Maybe add some cover points to hide from bullets. The art is excellent, especially the environments. I felt that the music could do with a little more life to fit the context, and more intensity. Good job!
Nice! I got to whoop some bosses with a stick! The music could do with a little variation and tension in the big boss battles. Some of the puzzles were a little confusing but I got there in the end. Well done all-round
Excellent graphics. The map felt a little empty, but I'm sure as you continue working on it, it'll flesh out a bit. More intense music could be more fitting as well. great work though :)
Nice artwork. The postal delivery idea was nice, and would definitely serve well as a side part of a larger game.
The car FX made me laugh! Overall very well done in a short space of time. Perhaps a little too ambitious? With some polish this could be a great mobile game, as you could use the phone to turn etc. Very challenging and fun to play though.
Graphically, my favourite so far. Some of the animations were disappointing though, like when you kill an enemy it would be nice to see some kind of transition rather than just disappearing or appearing on the floor. It doesn't feel as satisfying to hit an enemy as it looks like it should, if that makes sense, as the graphics are so amazingly polished.
The music seems a little mismatched as well... The initial piece and the second one I heard sounded like they didn't fit from a production standpoint. Check the looping of the first track as well, and perhaps vary it so it doesn't get too repetitive. Nice SFX though.
Overall a very memorable game, especially the graphics which were one of the best I've seen in this jam so far. Kudos :D
With a little more polish this game could be great. Good work though for what you've accomplished for such a short amount of time!
Nice artwork. More music could add intensity to the gameplay... and perhaps some kind of upgrade system and enemies?
Very nice! I like the art style. And the lack of music seemed to work in your favor. Well done!
Nice concept. I can definitely see this becoming part of a larger game. It would be nice for the player to be able to move around and explore instead of standing the whole time. I'm sure post jam, the extra content will push this into a solid title. I like the attack/block mechanism which encourages tactics instead of mashing. Good work
Killed by a chicken! Nice work. The music could do with some variation, but fit the graphic style very well. Great job!
Nice work... Took a few tries to get the hang of it but I got there. Perhaps vary the music up a little so it doesn't loop quite so often. More monsters would've been nice as well.
Beautiful art and good use of the theme. I would have liked to have seen more musical variety, as with the longer days the loop becomes a little more obvious. Great work here.
Wow! Great game. Having worked with @somefarang before, I knew this game would look amazing, and wasn't disappointed. Definitely one of my top 5 so far for visuals :) The game itself is very well put together, with enough content to warrant a second & third playthrough. Although the music is great, I don't think it fits the 'wasteland' environment. Sound effects were awesome though :D
I think there needs to be a little more space to move around. Also, the objective of the game was not immediately clear. So perhaps include a tutorial or even a help screen so that players can jump right in. I felt that the music didn't fit very well either.. Given that you play as a carrot fighting off armies of bugs I would expect something significantly more upbeat and frantic to reflect the gameplay. Some of the SFX sound great, the only one that was a little grating was when hit by the enemy. It's far too overpowering.
I love the carrot character! And how he's trying to bounce to the music. Whoever made the music should give you the tempo so he can line up exactly :) But generally the character and enemies are very cute. Nice work :)
Awesome little game. Nice graphics. Add more content, moves, weapons, skills, other perks like agility/luck etc and this will be epic. Don't forget the music! ;)
Nice graphics. Personally the runner games are not to my taste but you did a great job nonetheless. Perhaps make the music more upbeat (at least doubletime!) to match the upbeat nature of the game
Nice gameplay mechanics and camera controls... It feels very responsive and accurate. Music and SFX would have added so much depth to the game, but hopefully post-jam that will be done :)
Great fun. 23 waves on my first attempt. Maybe some extra unit types would be nice. Ones that fight better against certain enemy types etc. Also, it would be great to be able to move the units, unless there is actually a way of doing this already that I missed. Also, maybe some kind of upgrade system to speed up the bar? Just content overall would help to make this game excel. And of course, music and FX ;)
Well done! Solid entry
Nice work! I liked the narrative and how everything came together. Great music and art, and good sense of humour too :)
Nice work. Took me a few tries to get it but got there in the end. The web version seems to overfill the screen in my browser which didn't really effect the gameplay too much, but something to be aware of. Can't wait to see what comes in the post jam version!
Beautiful graphics and audio. I liked the ambient background noise which isnt too intrusive, works better than a musical track. I think it would be nice to have some incentive to collect everything, and perhaps some instructions as to the objective of the game? Might give players a reason to see it through to the end. Nice work!
I really enjoyed this! beautiful art and nice soundtrack. Well done for what you achieved in such a short time! I look forward to the post-jam version :)
Nice! I liked the puzzle elements. Awesome graphics, with some real nice polish! Would make a fun mobile game, but lacking a real challenge. Maybe mix up the music a little as well? I look forward to seeing what comes next :)
I loved the visuals and the sound! Really nice feel overall. Would be nice to see some additional moves in a post jam version, like counterattacks/weapons and enemy types?
Awesome game. I loved the graphics and the animations. Maybe a few hints at times could've helped with some of the trickier ingredients. I look forward to seeing what comes next from this game post-jam!
That was great! very pretty and well polished all round. I look forward to seeing what comes next from this post-jam!
Beautiful game! I look forward to seeing what comes next :)
Nice work. Very impressive graphics and lighting effects that create a nice atmosphere. Would be interesting to see what you do with it after the jam.
The graphics and style are great. really enjoyed playing, some of those tight corridors were really tricky which added a level of challenge to it. it would be nice if the player could control the movement speed as well as turning, whether that would make the game too easy I'm not sure..
Nice graphics. Explanations are definitely needed though, as it's quite complex.
really beautiful artwork and very fitting audio. aside from what has already been mentioned above about the sound with headphones etc, there's nothing but good things to say about this. Well done :)
nice. took me a couple of tries to realise what i had to do. the artwork is nice. as i can see in your above comments, theres plenty of room to expand in a post jam version, so i look forward to seeing it!
Music is amazing! As a composer myself I was impressed with how it was written and produced. I love the transitions between different zones as well. Most of the fx were great as well, except the sound when an enemy hits you which needs another couple of variations as to not become overly repetitive. Graphics are beautiful as well. As a package you've all achieved a lot for such a short time period, and I wouldn't be surprised if this lands in the top 10, it certainly does in my books!
cool cartoon graphics! i really like the sound design as well. The ghosts are really cool. It seems that there are issues with the layering with some of the office furniture in the beginning, it looks like you're kinda walking over parts f the desk/chairs. would love to see what you do next with it!
Incorporating different languages was a really nice touch! Very nice overall style, but music and sound effects would have added a lot more impact and feel to the game. The minigames were good fun also
very nice! it reminds me of journey and rez which I love! the concept is pretty unique which is good to see and i really dig the artistic approach you're going for. the music adds a lot to the atmosphere but i felt that a few of the transitions could have been handled better? some of them feel very abrupt. some of the fx take away from the mood as well, particularly the orbs that you right click on. would love to see what you add to this post-jam, theres lots of potential here.
I like the animations! Nice graphics. You need a few more sound FX for the enemies... shooting several in a row the sound becomes repetitive and somewhat disturbing! It would be nice to have an objective alongside protecting the babies, like an adventure or something. good game nonetheless!
A fellow keep simulator game!! We made something similar(ish) for our entry. I like the shooting idea and the fact you can move to defend yourself. Some extra weapons would be nice and maybe the mouse could be used to aim instead of click-hold? Good job though.
Very nice! and very cute. Great humor and really well designed. Maybe having the buttons integrated with the theme would be the cherry on top.
Incredible graphics and art! Some of the music fit very nicely. I feel that the gameplay/story elements could do with some refinement, and perhaps a clearer objective? There's no real incentive to keep playing after seeing the amazing artwork. Well done overall!
Nice! The graphics are nice (not sure why i can't score it though?). The music was wonderfully atmospheric, but some of the FX detract from that a little too much. switching between scenarios was interesting. would sure like to see what comes next!
Amazing all round. The graphics and sound are fantastic. Only couple of thoughts I had, a ladder climbing animation would add a lot. At the moment it's an easy escape from the monsters, and is the only weak movement I can see so far. Also, replacing the text with an actual scene of what's happening! All things that can be added post-jam... This is one of my favourites so far! Well done.
Great puzzle game. very cute design and nice graphics. Its frustrating being so limited as to where you can drop the tiles, unless I was missing something? Would be nice to have the arrows disguised as something else that fits the style as well, like a plant/animal or something.Looking forward to seeing what comes next!!
Awesome game! the feel of the jumping is a bit too much for me, i felt at times I wasn't in control of the character. I love the art and the overall aesthetic, even more so that it reminds me of shadow of the colossus! I would turn the sound fx down significantly though. I would totally play games like this outside of the jam, but there would need to be a lot more content, but this is such a good start I'd hate to see it not pursued further! I would say completely forget the 'keep it alive' theme, and turn this into an epic story of a warrior and his over-sized companion setting out for an epic adventure!
Interesting concept! Voice overs are cool, and the intro was a nice touch. It seemed to crash on me after interacting with the computer. Some of the FX could do with editing to help bring them out, noise gating, and just generally tidying up. Good game all round :)
the game looks great. characters and enemies look badass. i think the game mechanics could do with refinement, as it doesn't really feel like we're doing much except hammering keys. some sound fx and aiming would make it feel much more satisfying to play. i like the dialog you've included as well, nice touch!
I think this might have been a little overly ambitious to be completely honest. You've done very well in a short space of time! It's good fun and fast paced. It's very difficult to really feel anything without sound, and everything feels very 2 dimensional. The player graphics and the trees look very cool, but some of the other assets like the water and the terrain itself don't seem to match. With a little work post-jam this could really come to life!
I really like the visuals of the game. the big thing for me that lets it down is the controls. its very difficult to control where you land when jumping, and when you need more precise movements on the ground, you can't because its either standing or sprinting. being able to move so fast is great at times, but it should be an option, like in most games where you hold down shift or something. i like the idea of having to revisit the water to keep the fish alive. music is cool, but the sound fx dont really fit in. the respawning one sounds particularly dissonant. i find that it takes a bit too long to respawn as well. in a post jam version, i would add a few warmup stages to allow players to get used to controls etc, maybe even without enemies. looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
i really like the mechanics, very original idea. it certainly requires an element of skill, having to throw the capsule away and hope to catch it again. some of the art is nice, like the backdrop, but it would be nice to see more variation with the platforms etc, maybe in a post jam version? the audio and colour palette complement each other to create a nice mood.
Great concept! I like what you did with the theme, it's certainly a unique idea and wit some work post-jam it could go much further. The main thing that bothered me was the generic fonts used in the text, and some don't seem to match. Music would've helped to make it more immersive. I look forward to seeing what comes next!

I LOVED this game! Really satisfying to play and beautiful but simple visuals. I made it quite far up, then saw this little guy and had to keep going. Does he do anything? I was almost expecting him to jump on the tree and climb or something? Can't really fault it to be honest. Everything comes together nicely.
The graphics are cute. I liked the scrolling text effect as well. A few things I noticed while playing.... Variety needed in the music as well as some further mixing with the synths, there is a hissing sound in the home music which is a little overbearing with headphones, and maybe balance the parts a little better. I felt that giving clearer instructions as to the objectives would have been nice, knowing what we could interact with etc. Invisible walls are very frustrating. Why not create a physical obstacle to help guide players? I noticed some grammatical errors in the text... "you has been infected" for example... I don't think the pandemic theme is a particularly good choice, considering that many people who might be participating in this jam could be affected by the current climate, as some have mentioned above. this will discourage some people, including myself, from playing it, those of us who don't want to be reminded about it. It's good that you've come up with multiple endings and a story of sorts, but the character doesn't really react to anything. Good effort getting this together in a short amount of time.
nice work. the graphics are reall nice. I found the clicking quite difficult to control, as sometimes the character seems to go wherever they want! I'm curious as to which guitar sample you are using? It sounds a little harsh in the mix but very realistic. The sound fx are great as well. well done.
I love the graphics and the artwork, especially the trees! Caught my attention right away. Music and FX were on point also. Great work!
Very nice storytelling and beautiful graphics!
Nice graphics and overall style. I agree with others that you should be able to retry the same level after dying. Otherwise it's very frustrating having to replay everything again. Not being able to jump with the egg is a good idea, and encourages you to think ahead. Music and FX are also very fitting. Good job!
Nice music, and some of the artwork looks great. I don't think I understood the objective of the game, as you seem to walk aimlessly with very limited interaction. The idea of good/bad stars doesn't seem to really work, as it's just down to luck and the memories don't really mean anything if they're all the same. They could be used to tell a story or something interesting, and collecting more adds to a bigger story. I like the atmosphere you've started to create, but the lack of mechanics makes it difficult to continue playing for more than a few minutes.
Solid all-round. Visuals and sound work together really nicely. I could see this working as a mobile game with some stronger puzzle elements or some form of action to turn it into a more compelling experience with more replay value. Well done.
Nice work! I like the enemy design, they look really cool! A few varieties might have been nice. I think the music is a bit on the heavy side, might work better if it built up alongside the gameplay a bit more. I really like the difficulty option as well for terrible gamers like myself!
Art style is awesome! Very simple and effective mechanics, although there is sometimes a slight delay between clicking and jumping. I'm not sure how it relates to the theme exactly, but it's fun nonetheless. Great entry!
Graphic design and music set the mood very nicely. It feels a bit limited in terms of scope, due to the luck based options. i'm sure there will be plenty of opportunity to expand post-jam.
looking good. I like the music and choice of instruments. It took a while to figure out what we're meant to do, so a tutorial stage might be nice to include. some of the movements could so with some extra animations, particularly walking in different directions, and maybe a few enemy designs but for what you have created in such a short time it's difficult to fault! good work.
very polished artwork and good fun. The animations and sounds are funny too. great job!
the graphics are nice. simplicity is great in these jams. I'm not sure why a leaf is a weapon against the meteors? the meteors themselves need to be more randomised as they can be quite predictable. more variety in the music and fx would be nice to avoid over repetition. i'm sure these things can be easily incorporated post-jam. well done with what you've achieved though.
For a first submission this is great! Some sounds would have added some more depth to the gameplay, and a few of the animations, the running one in particular could be improved. Well done though.
The environment graphics are really nice! Sets the mood well. I feel that the movement animations could use some tweaking, particularly jumping and shooting. The jumps are a little high and difficult to land consistently, and to me it feels that the jumping is far too fast. The shooting is also too slow! Maybe intensify the music a bit more if you keep going with the battle waves idea. to me it seems that with the ambience you're setting up, you would be better geared for an adventure game. Great work all round.
Really enjoyed this! The graphics and overall style are really nice. The music doesn't loop exactly, there's a fraction of a second causing a slight stutter. Matching the colour was difficult, maybe there's a clearer way of showing us what we need to do. Great work though!
the art is really nice. keeping the music minimal actually works really well here, despite what some are saying. for this kind of style, sound design is everything, so adding some really well produced sounds later on will work wonders, without that, it's very difficult to create that mood that you're looking for. what you have is a great start, however.. there are some issues with jumping, as it felt that occasionally it was difficult to land close to the edge of a platform? it's also kinda difficult to distinguish what is a platform and what is backdrop. it's frustrating having invisible walls preventing you from exploring further, but i suppose that allows room for expansion later on? the character looks really cool, but I wonder if something could be done with his colouring to make him fit the palette a little better? maybe a light grey outline? a double jumping animation would've been really nice so much potential for this though, looking forward to see what comes next!
I love the animations! graphics look sweet and art is cute despite being quite brutal! nice polish all round, would be nice to see more content in a post jam version.
Nice. Graphics were cool. For some reason, CH4 was displaying as helium. I completed it and was left with a rock at the end, wasn't sure if I had missed something. Very nice, laid back point and click! Good job.
Looking good so far, at the moment it looks like a work in progress. It's difficult to avoid a lot of the asteroids if they spawn right in front of you suddenly. If would be much better if you could see them from a distance. Would be good to see what you do with the game post-jam
incredible visuals, i love the style. It would be great if the enemies could be designed in a similar style though. I wasn't too sure how the powers were supposed to work, maybe a slightly more explanatory tutorial would fix this for most people. i really like the atmosphere you've created with the sound and everything, awesome!
Nice job! I like the mechanics and the overall mood of the game. The graphics are nice as well. I feel that the music could do with a little variety, as the sweeping effect does become repetitive after playing for a while. There's a lot to do in the game so I'll definitely be giving it a second go! Well done.
I got stuck in between the shelf and the fridge! I really like the graphics and the ability to explore. Some of those spike traps were really difficult! Would be interesting to see what you add in post-jam. Great job
some of the artwork is really nice. I like the text on screen but the font doesn't match the style. some of the animations feel a bit awkward and the lack of sound fx make the movements feel a bit empty. It's difficult to anticipate the fast enemies when you can't see them coming. i think a post jam version of this would be awesome, as you have a nice style and mood going on. would be great to see more.
The character/ enemy animations are fantastic! Sound FX are need improvement, and it feels like some mechanics are missing, like aiming. Some of the enemies in higher positions seem redundant if you can't interact with them nor them with you. Also, there should be a sense of objective so we know what to do. But again, the graphics were excellent!
I love it! its kinda like Trials.... but with eggs. Very smooth controls, and satisfying to play. Everything is kept nice and simple, which works well, but a touch of music would be nice. Awesome game.
nice artwork. the music gets a bit repetitive and there are some issues with the track coming out of the right channel only when you lose, so i actually found it better playing without sound. I like that there are multiple paths to choose from, some trickier than others. it would be better to help players identify which paths lead to death, because at the moment they look the same, and its frustrating having to restart because of that. My favourite part of this game was the horse himself! i really like the animations and would be great to see what he gets up to in a post-jam version!
Nice work. i think you need to incorporate a wider sound palette for the intense atmospheric vibe you're going for. I love the visuals, especially the spider/monster! Would be great to see a more intense chase. It doesn't fit the theme, but that doesn't matter too much.
nice take on the theme. it certainly gets challenging quickly! the graphics are very nice. there could be a lot more variety with the FX, especially the clicking one which gets repetitive very quickly. Great job overall!
Brilliant! Really clever idea, I'll be having another try later on.
@skleembof @f1krazy @unless-games @dennis-magnusson @feilkin @ironfred @danmightbetheman @mhorth @unbugged @sjpixels @codexzier @fuugul Thanks so much for your comments regarding the SFX/music for the game. It was a real blast working with @minibobbo on this game, as always! We're both big fans of the Persona soundtrack, so I was definitely aiming for that vibe while writing it. Thanks for playing!
Amazing art and visuals. Music was perfect, but the footsteps were a little loud. I would have liked a little more instruction as to what to do. I found myself clicking on everything and not getting very far.
Awesome! This would make a great mobile game. Everything blends nicely, but I'd like the option to turn music down slightly.
Great entry, but the difficulty ramps too quickly! By level 9-10 the enemies spawn in insane numbers! A slightly wider view angle would be nicer as well, and maybe if they could spawn further away to give time to react etc. Great fun though, I got to level 18
Well done.
Amazing art and audio. Better instructions needed to understand gameplay though! Excellent entry nonetheless
Great entry! Sound and visuals were excellent.
Very nice visuals! Love the style
Loved it!
Really enjoyed this. Would love to see a post-jam version with more weapons/upgrades and enemy types, or even multiplayer. Great entry
Lovely art and style overall! Great job
Great game! Would like to see a post jam version with more enemies/turrets and upgrade options. Nice work
Great fun and addictive!
Nice art and audio. The gameplay doesn't feel overly intuitive though, I struggled with the controls and the game would end so suddenly. I'm sure with a few edits this can fix these minor issues. Well done.
Good fun, and great voice acting!
Great game, love the style and how everything fits the theme. Nice work
Nice! I like the art and the writing, looks really polished.
Really great entry. Maybe some more text would be a good idea so it doesn't become repetitive. I found that I learned some of the combinations quite quickly as well which made it easier. I'm sure with this, the replayability value with grow a lot!
Great fun! Very original and challenging.
Nice work. Slight learning curve at the beginning but love the style.
Nice entry. Lots of content and the atmosphere/mood was compelling. Lacking some polish in some areas, like some of the NPCs standing diagonally which was pretty funny.. Grammar and spelling in a lot of the text 'pres the door' for example. I'm sure a bit of work post-jam will sort this out and it will be awesome.
Nice one! Really enjoyed this. Cool graphics and style overall. Great entry
Loved the visuals. I would've liked to be able to move faster, and possibly see more logical locations for things like coffee on the floor haha. The creepy monster following was a highlight for me. Great entry
Nice spin on tetris. Great work!
Awesome entry. Love the visuals and audio, would definitely come back for more in a post-jam version
Really nice visuals and overall aesthetic. Well done, great entry.
Cool! Reminded me of Total war a little. Feels like something I'd need to practice a little more to get the hang of it. I found it difficult to control which direction the soldiers move in.
It crashed for me a few times, but I loved it! Audio and visuals worked so well together and a very innovative entry. Nice work!
Really cool visual style, and fun overall. Difficult but worth sticking with, I got to around 1:10
I really liked the art/audio and the overall aesthetic of the game. Nice work.
Loved it, especially the hand drawn graphics! Would definitely like to see a post-jam version, well done.
