What an unique experience! The music and graphics are fantastic. Only real criticism is that movement is bit floaty but that is incredibly minor. This is super impressive.

The idea is super cool, and I loved the usage of the toon shader to add the outlines to the world, making it look like it in itself is a drawing! It doesn't really fit the theme at all, but it is something I'd play every now and then just to see how the gallery is looking!
Everything about this was so awesome! Very unique take. I could probably spend hours just walking around fixing paintings or submitting new ones. Well done! 🤩
This is such a neat idea, and very well executed! As the first commenter noted, the movement could be better. My mouse would be still, but the camera would rotate around, which was distracting. Aside from that, this was wonderful and I loved it! ♥
That's SUCH a fun concept! The drawing tools are touch limited, but I'm floored based on premise alone. Graphics are nice and music is perfect for this atmosphere.
Treating "the inevitable" as an expected group of players was really clever! I thoroughly enjoyed browsing the library of art and contributing a little bit of my own. You nailed the visuals, audio, and overall vibe to make this fresh idea work. Fantastic!
Amazing concept, excited to come back to it again and agian to see how my art work has been "fixed".
Amazing game! Super original!
Wow, this is just wonderful. The art of the community is really impressive. So many were elegant complete pieces that I couldn't imagine changing. And all accomplished without ctrl-Z, just amazing.
The game itself does an outstanding job of not getting in the way of the art. It is itself artistically very compelling, with the white rooms and sketch-style display. I spent moments here and there enjoying the game's graphics, but it left all the room needed for me to shift my focus and enjoy the art. The way the rooms slide into place was another nice touch. I read it as an indication that the game was loading new content, and it helped me to understand the space was infinite and not to bother searching in any systematic way.
The music was another important aspect that did a lot to create a calm, contemplative mood, and I enjoyed it a lot.
Overall this is a killer entry: great concept, wonderful execution. Congratulations!
I think this is the single best jam game I've ever played. The black and white game artwork is perfectly stylized, the music is fantastic, even the little sound effects for the speaking lines are great. AND I had fun making a painting. I wandered for a long time looking at and rating other paintings, so cool. Wonderful!
Super cool concept! Love the small details, for example the sound effects in the dialogue!
What a cool little game! Just walking around is a very calming experience. I really enjoyed going around looking at others paintings, and ofc also painting my own masterpiece lol. Great job!
I got lost in this game! This is amazing! Well done y'all <3 The first game I will check back onto, since I know there will be other stuff happening in the exhibit. How did you get from the theme to this?

Love the concept, I think the art is charming and the user made content is just *chefs kiss* I had a blast
Holly this is amazing, a serious contester/winner here, I loved the concept and how you decided to apply the theme. The execution is out of this world, how did you manage to make all this in a weekend??
Congrats!! this is amazing, I fixed and voted too many paints haha
I loved the game and the concept. Your work was amazing.
This was a great, relaxing experience! I liked the Animal Crossing vibe of the dialog and the rooms appearing was a really neat touch. Here's hoping that people don't ruin the experience!
Very cool and original! Yes, movement could be better (can't move diagonally), but that's very minor. Also, brush size 6 doesn't seem to work, or maybe it's so big that it needs to be dead-center. Really great idea and execution!
Honestly, this could be a full release right now! This is a complete game ready to go!
Everything from the art style, to the way paintings are displayed, to the music, everything is just perfect!
I have played over 80 sum games at this point, and this is, by far, the most feature complete of them all!
I predict, and this game deserves, to place at very top of this Jam!
I even made my logo in game!
Screenshot 2022-04-04 223602.png
This game is such an enjoyable and relaxing experience! Quite the accomplishment!
10/10
I love this game. I usually play Jam games just a once or twice but I know I will come to play this later more. Concept is simple and effective. You have enough options in the painting but not too much. Well balanced, cool idea. Chill nice game that warms my heart :)
I also loved the characters and the art style in the exhibition.
This idea is so great, congrats on building something nicely stylized with great art and on top of that with networking in a jam. This is an extremely cool game!
Fantastic game, it's a masterpiece!! I painted a reference to Squidward:

Wow, this is incredible! A great concept, executed near-flawlessly. Hard to believe this was made in 72 hours. The dialogue is really cute, the social interaction component is great, the drawing tools work well enough, and the 'two layers' thing is a really fun idea as well as serving as a form of quality control. I also just like the art style a lot. And the audio gives a nice relaxing feeling of being in an art gallery. The dynamic map layout is also cool with the ever-expanding gallery. My only critique is that there seems to be a tiny bit of camera drift that could be corrected, but other than that, wow this is really good.
never mind me -
I was not expecting that - that's very cool
that is such a crazy unique idea, I'm freaking floored
Very Fun idea! I spent i lot of time drawing in this game
I love this, I will now draw many pictures
Wow, very very nice idea :)
Wow! This is really impressive, and an extremely creative take on the theme! I can't imagine how you were able to design and execute on this art gallery game idea.
I like the vibe of this, like a chilling anti chamber patobox type of feel. my humble contribution

This is the coolest thing I've seen in a game jam I think. This just rocks!
ok, its official, this is the BEST LD experience so far, I don't even wanna show my project after seeing this
This is probably the best game I've seen on here. Will pop back in from time to time to see how it develops, this is amazing!
Loved it!
Loved it!
Awesome innovative idea and very clean execution. Superb experience. Love it, great job !
That is so creative, if I could put 10/5 in innovation I would. Thanks for creating a wonderful sharing experience guys!
God damn. this is good.

This is super creative and awesome! Love the concept and what a great use of the theme;) movement could be floaty at times but what a great experience!

This is great. just open and vibe.
This game had me from the first second. As an artist by myself, I could not stop walking around and watch the gallery. Also the opportunity to paint, to collaborate on other peoples' paintings and to finally upload was very cool! Everything without timegate or pressure. One of the best games I played so far at LudumDare.
Awesome! Found a sculpture while being lost...22-Apr- 5--16-21-44_.png

simply amazing, I was wandering through the different halls and there is a lot drawings. The new room generation mechanic is excellent. A suggestion could be to implement a fast travel to the reception or display a 2d map where you can see all the rooms with draws and fast travel to them.
@zolar WHAT!! How did THAT get there...??? ;)

Very interesting. Painting in game, uploading and gallery changes for all? Really cool!

Amazing experience, so chill, love the room transition effect - really dreamlike.
Love the idea and very well executed. The environment is awesome! I could not figure out how to improve existing art, but had fun nonetheless. Good job!
Really amazing game. a ctrl+z option was the only thing I missed. It was so cool to see al the creative works of other players. The hall of fame idea also worked really well and the upvote downvote system.
THE BOLD AND BRASH PAINTING WAS MY FAVORITE IT WAS SO FUNNY, I really likes it though, super creative!!! [in many ways]

This is astoundingly good. I wandered around for like 20 minutes, drew a caterpillar, fixed some rude drawings, reported some dicks, got lost in it all. The aesthetic is MWAH, beautiful, and the vibe is dope. This is a game I would love to come back to frequently to see how it evolves.
This is soooo gooood! Was thinking if it was AI or collaborative and very impressed, loved the graphics it's really nicely done :)
Incredible project. I don't think the attachment to the theme is very strong, but this is extremely cool and finished. Great stuff!
very cool idea! I love that you can interact and contribute to the game. it's a very special experience, that the developers throw away a brick in order to get a gem from the players, and us players are becoming the creators of the game.
Lovely idea! I zoned out for 15 minutes while finishing a drawing of a dog. Most images was of popular memes but some were quite original.

I suppose it's my favorite game for now. All this style, social interaction and fun seeing other people work
Brilliant
Beautiful take on the theme! Would love to see something like this this get enough critical mass to stick around actively post-LD. :D
Thanks for hanging out on stream! This game is honestly blew me away! Well done such a good game. Fantastic work
Wow this is such a interesting exibition (or a game I suppose?). At first I thought the artworks are just hand made by developers but then I saw my own piece! Wow what an awesome idea. Really hard to believe this was done in 3 days with all the back-end stuff you guys had to deal with.
Graphics are super cute and nice too. This game definitely gets 5 out of 5 stars for me!
I tried it on stream because one of the team member ask me to try it and ... I loved it! the Originality, the idea, the fact that is online, very cool!
Again, weel done all!

This is such an amazing game! The audio perfectly fits the mood, and the graphics are simple and clean and lend themselves well to an interactive art exhibition. The concept itself is also very impressive and executed really well.
Amazing work! Loved walking around and seeing all of the artwork. Will probably come back and create more artwork during the rating period!
An undo, and something to see brush size would make it perfect, but even as it is, it's so amazingly creative.
I had to be careful streaming it on twitch, lol.
Wow... I have no words. What a unique game, great work!
Truly unique and creative game
How the f*** did you manage to make that in such a short time?! Awesome game :)
Absolutely fantastic... such a great mood and setting with a gorgeous art-style which is only added to through the submissions of players. Most paintings are just memes but every now and then you stumble upon an original art-pieces. Not that I dislike the memes, has a few chuckles thanks to them.
It was really fun to go between painting my own paintings, making sure to leave space for improvement and adjustment with the knowledge that someone (hopefully) is going to add to the artwork, and changing the artworks of others. I usually tried to keep the original idea intact but change the art-style to that of my own.
I have some features that I would like to suggest adding: the ability to sign the painting with a username, the ability to report offensive paintings and the ability to inspect a painting again after having exited it (found myself forgetting to check the original and getting curious after having just left the painting).
Incredible concept! I don't recommend streaming it though.. for obvious reasons.. but yes, amazing! I can see this winning!
Oh wow. This was really really cool. I enjoyed just wandering around and looking at what a lot of people drew. I did update one piece of art, in retrospect I probably should've screen grabbed it.
This game sucked me in and I was painting, reviewing and exploring for at least half an hour. If the game only had the paintings it would have been pretty amazing, but you decided to go the extra mile and add lots of atmosphere, pretty funny npcs and a ton of small but pleasant little features. The attention to detail is stellar and I'd say the game is pretty much perfect!
I'm not proud of what I did. Except I'm lying and I am. Just fantastic stuff! I hope there's a gallery somewhere when it's all over! If you see Earth rocking some rocking eyebrows... you're welcome.

this game is art, already beyond this game competition
it is really the best, you won dude! nobody should've a higher score than this beauty!
I love the aesthetic of the museum. It gives the game a lot more personality. Hopefully someone will ruin, I mean, improve the art that I made.
This is really amazing. Everything was great and well executed. I loved the idea.
i loved this entry, what a cool idea!
i have no feedback, but i hope you like my bug i drew

This game is amazing, I am not talented enough to contribute, but I spent like 10 minutes just walking around and admiring other peoples art. A really cool idea, I love how the theme ties into it too. Well done!
Wow! I love the mood and the art! Very creative idea and original take on the theme. It's so cool to be able to interact with others through art. The sound design is nice too. Really inspiring project, overall.
You've somehow created a game that captures so many of the most positive elements of a game jam within a game jam. I just lost so much time to exploring the gallery and trying to improve artworks. This is absolutely wonderful.
Such a great game idea! When I played it, I felt as if my soul was resting.
My first favourite of LD50 <3
It's unusual for me to spend more than half an hour per game, but this one simply wouldn't let me leave - and I'm sure I'll get back to it over and over again. So much to see, correct or corrupt...
Drawing feels REALLY GOOD and responsive, which I feel is rare for drawing-games (mainly talking about Gartic Phone here). The music really enhances the experience, encouraging to take things easy.
Two ideas I have for the future of this awesome project, which you undoubtedly came across before: * It would be cool if you could comment on the art, and the visitors randomly choosing one comment on the respective piece. Maybe that would harm the charme of the game though, I don't really know. * Also, the colour palette could be expanded on, though being restricted to the current palette did make for some creative problem solving!
Thank you so much for this absolute masterpiece! I'm a big fan!
What a masterpiece of a game - The visuals and feel where really nice and the CONCEPT of the thing! Amazing! Just the neverending gallery mechanic is impressive in itself. THis is ridicolous to have made over the Jam-time. I am in awe!
I love how this game looks like. I love how these paintings are placed in the room. I love how these rooms rising into my sight. I love those ghost characters and paper-style decorations.
Dude, you made a legend!
The two of us share a very similar art style, but you managed to knock it out of the park so much that we can't even compete with our game. Amazing work!
Wow! Can't believe this was made in the short period of the jam. Really impressive. The chill music provides a very calming experience. The game already has some impressive paintings created by players.
Right up there with Walkie Talkie in my favorite LD things ever made. I spent more than 3 hours in your gallery now and have created great works of art, destroyed great works of art and made some grand shitposts ( I might have kicked off the Among Us thing yesterday, I'm sorry. )
Only thing I don't get is if Works of art that are rated negatively get improved on again or if they just revert to the original. Sometimes I feel like its the latter, which would be a bit of a shame.
Perfect marks in almost every category if you ask me.
Man, this is amazing! Congratulations
It is mindblowing concept!
It's a lesson in indie gaming. You can spend so much time walking around rooms and watching all these paintings. Great experience. Great idea!
I spent so much time on the game already ! I really love the concept, it's really fun to see other's masterpieces ! Really good initiative !
Thats really technically impressive to me. Great idea!
Fantastic game and concept! This is a great multiplayer concept and the premise is really fun! I hope you continue working on this and release it as a commercial product, I would enjoy coming back to it!
The artstyle is really great and effective, and I love the effect of spawning rooms, and the interactions with the NPCs. It really adds to the feeling and I love touches like that, making it more than just the core.
This is one of my absolute facourites so far, really well made and polished. Awesome work!
I rate this game as FRESH!
Skärmbild 2022-04-06 183323.png
This is for sure the best experience I've ever had with a jam game. It is a fully formed concept, expanded and well executed, and an amazing game! Even for someone who can't draw if their life depends on it, like me, to be able to just watch other people's work of art is incredibly satisfying. You should probably just release it as a full game, as it is not only a complete experience, but also better than many popular online games - about drawing or not. Truly amazing!
Yoo, really interesting concept and very nicely executed. I love the tranquil music playing while you vandalize artwork, haha.
awesome idea and extremely well executed. I love this!
I'm not sure that the game tries to follow the theme, but in terms of the idea and graphical implementation it is an unquestionable masterpiece.

Now this was absolutely a blast! I do think it's one of the most innovative games I've ever encountered on LD thus far, and a treat to explore. Also, the painting worked great with my Wacom (I do lack the skills for great execution though). And it was interesting to see what madness the general public can come up with in such a free space of creativity (didn't encounter anything super wild). Amazing addition to the Jam!
Chainsaw Cheerz!
That's a very unique take on the theme! Loved browsing through all of the creations, and even added my own. Great game!

Loooove this! Collaborative art between strangers FTW!! The game's graphics, sounds and general mood are absolutely lovely too!
I will definitely come back to this to see what happens with the content of the gallery in the long run. This experiment is amazingly executed!
Such mood and so polished! The music is really sweet and everything looks great.
I can't see the theme reflected much, maybe it was more inspired by the ongoing r/place? Nevertheless it is a great entry and a nice footprint of the Ludum Dare community and our time.
PS. Had a crash, WEBGL said it ran out of memory (maybe I should close other game windows, but it might be a problem if the player walks spawns enough rooms).
This is such an interesting experience. I just love it!
Amazing and super creative game, never seen anything like it please make a finished version please with fixed camera monalisa.PNG

Amazing game! Congrats!
This is a brilliant idea and a flawless execution. Well fucking done.
I wandered the gallery until it ran out of memory and crashed. And then I refreshed the page and started wandering again.
This is incredible! Seriously, very professional entry and very unique. Unfrortunately (maybe I just don't see it) I don't see how it connects to the theme? :D Neverless amazing entry! Good job :)
I played your game on stream today and it was different kind of experience from other games. I'll be surprised if it won't be high on innovative! Playing it on stream made me kind of rush things, but I will definitely come back to draw something else.
I drew a pirate with a parrot and a lizard on a hat. Can't find it now. If found, please report it! :(
@okamit I recognize your Fresh Lady from the The Assessment alien game!
Great community experience, and awesome take on the theme ! My favorite part of the experience was how polished everything was, from the seamless multiplayer to the paiting system. And there is so much to discover ! (Funny ghosts, quirky staff, community paintings, ...).
Strengths: - A great sense of participation and community - Overall polish makes for a great experience - Soothing soundscape
Possible improvements: - Mouse FPS commands sometimes behave strangely, especially when doing full rotations (angle of view gets reset).
Fantastic job !
Here is a Mondrian, courtesy of my terrible art skills: Picture8.png
This is incredible! It took me way too long to figure out that all of the art was created by other players but once I did I was blown away! Super cool concept and I love the cozy aesthetic
@haayaargh Nice  Nice that you recognized it!
I had such strong feelings, I thought it'd be incorrect for me not to show my initial thoughts!

Honestly you guys should make this into a game. What an unreal experience for a game jam....utterly unreal. Give your selves some major props, I will be surprised if this doesn't win.
LOVELY. What an amazing concept for this jam and stellar execution. You've made something truly special here.
This is so neat, I had such a fun time. After seeing all of the posts in my timeline I finally bit the bullet and gave it a shot, and I am not disappointed. You could have just made a collaborative drawing game, but placing it in a gallery, with a rating system, characters you could talk to that actually had personality, and a clean packaged presentation, I was smiling the whole time. The only small thing that bothered me was a lack of undo button, as well as my mouse not being locked so it kept moving off the page, but I honestly could not care in the long run. This is a fantastic game with great execution, well done!
This is really cool, I just wish I could find some of my art I submitted. It would be cool to see what becomes of it. I really like the chill well I draw. Very relaxing.
Simply phenomenal. Most innovative, lovely art, and great sound all combine for an excellent experience. Kudos all-around.
Very nice work.
I've been a fan of multi-user online doodling/artwork -apps for more than a decade, so this hits the spot.
You found a good balance in the limitations of the drawing tools and color palette which is important in apps like this.
The changing rooms are a cool gimmick and effectively establish the sense of infinity.
---
As others have said, a nice feature would be the chance to find your own work easier.
As of now they get lost in the vastness of the gallery walls, although one could argue that it's somewhat beautiful in a way.

5 stars for innovation! :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :paintbrush: :pencil2:
Perfect game. 5 stars across the board!
Just amazing. I love this idea so much. I dont think I have seen it before. Would love for it to become a fully developed game and see what would come out of that.

Such a cute and cool idea. Very relaxing and creative. Great work!
Definitely one of my favorite games so far (played it everyday for the last three days)! It's just so relaxing and fun to be able to see other people's arts (original and finished). The way the new rooms spawn is so smooth and the look-and-feel of the game really makes me feel like I'm walking through an art gallery. Thank you for sharing your game on our streams (MsMiaChar and MetaMarkTea).

Wow, what a fun interactive environment, did not expect this sorta thing, was pleasantly surprised. So nice to walk around and see all the pictures at this point, some funny, some really nice drawn pieces, but all of them wholesome :) you guys made us the canvas for us to paint on, and it's all thanks to the community as well. The setting and mood are really great making it chill vibes to walk around in. Also smooth and polished with the movement and camera zoom and what not. You have everything even interesting npc's, I don't know what to give of constructive criticism.
Oh maybe the lack of a button that clears the whole picture when drawing, you have to press cancel and then press 'E' to paint again.
All I can say is amazing job!
This was absolutely fantastic. Loved wandering around and looking at all these impressive pieces of art (until my PC ran out of memory lol). Great work!

Love the game. Such a unique experience. The audio is soothing, it helped me draw something a bit serious instead of something goofy x)The art pieces there are astonishing, it's insane how beautiful that museum is.
On a frustrating side: I ctrl+Zed a couple of times closing the window....Dunno if there's a way to disable a browser native shortcut but that was ...frustrating.
anw, great great job to you! doing that game in 3 days, hats off.

Insane to make that in 48 hours, it has no gameplay or mechanics but it's so cool

Super cool idea and a great execution, I did miss an undo option tho. I kinda need it if I want to draw something that is recognizable :D
It's incredible that you were able to execute this idea in a jam! Despite there not being any traditional gameplay, it was still a lot of fun to play. I enjoyed adding to other people's drawings and seeing some of the humorous ways in which people covered up the inevitable explicit drawings.
This is a brilliant idea! And perfectly executed! I think I spent at least 20 minutes fixing and rating pieces. I love how this game not only reflects your creativity but also those of the players. Congrats, one of my favorite games of this jam so far!

It's hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that you did this for a JAM. It's a huge amount of work and it's so well thought out that it works perfectly. It even loads rooms dynamically! Congratulations on making this, and thanks for sharing it. I would like a fill tool, please :)
Wow! You made me forget everything and just keep painting while the beautiful relaxing music kept urging me! Great and clever idea, really enjoyable game! Well done!! different strokes doodles.jpg

Someone removed my rule 34 Monsters Inc Sully Mike Crossover, please stop. Cool alternative for all the r/place refugees.
Wow this is such a fun experience!! :grinning:
What a great idea!
Very minor feedback: Would be nice if the Brush size was visible on your cursor, so you could better know how much of an area it would paint on the canvas
Incredible! Not much more to say. Love the visuals. Love the idea.
This is way beyond what I expect from a jam game! At first I wasn't sure how it fit the theme, but the npc at the front explained it well.
Incredible game / project, and judging by all the feedback here that seems to be a pretty popular opinion lol.
The few points of criticism / changes I hope to see if you continue to develop this project after the jam:
- be able to check up on paintings I participated in - undo/redo - being able to press e on a painting after voting on it
But once again, really awesome stuff. I probably spent like an hour just walking around and admiring other's art - and then another hour adding my own. Great job overall.
This is absolutely amazing!
Absolutely stunning and great idea, good job :)
Five stars on all, an absolute crush for me. It is so amazing <3 Thank you for doing this !
Wooow! I absolutely loved this game! Music was perfect and I got lost amongst all the art. Loooved this.
this is a great game i enjoyed looking around and seeing all the art (:
This game was perfect, I got absolutely lost in it. The lack of undo was really interesting because it made everything feel more permanent (even though I could paint over it). I loved seeing how impressive some peoples pieces are and the ghosts were very sweet.
You kill it guys ! Congrats !
Best experience of Ludum Dare 50; I could spend hours in this game!
I'm a programmer, not an artist... but this game is awesome! maybe the player movement needs an improvement but the game, in general, is awesome!

This is fantastic! Such a elegant idea, and you executed every part of it beautifully! So impressed by this.
Wow. Just impressive how I feelt relaxed playing this game, the music is really neat to let yourself relax and inspire. Also graphics are the best and the concept is amazing !! 5 stars everywhere congrats !
I hope you realize what an absolute gem you've created. This was such a creative and innovative experience, what a wonderful game!
It's just ready for production to me, it's that good.
EDIT : I'm going to loose way too much time on this...
Fixing art
This is probably one of the best jam games I've ever played !
I saw the video on reddit and really wanted to play! Not disappointed :)) The athmosphere is really good and I love the paper visuals as well as the text animations. This is a masterpiece and I hope everyone will participate!! (oh and the room transitions are top notch, god!)
Incredibly cute and wholesome, a bunch of cool art as well! I might not follow the theme perfectly but I still find it inspiring! I did find an issue tho, I was just running trough the rooms seeing if it ever ended and the webgl build ran out of memory. Great entry crazy you guys managed this in 72 hours!
@lamamour What video on Reddit? OwO
@scott-steffes oh no my bad, it was not on reddit x) I scroll through reddit and the LD feed and see a bunch of games that I want to play and mistakenly thought I saw yours on reddit. But no... *I'm stupid*
This is unbelievably artistically sophisticated for a jam game. Totally stunned.

What an awesome concept and executed so well in such a tight timeframe! Well done. I drew Jaws and a Boat :P
Just like, wow
I think the only place that this falls down is that it works well enough that the inevitable isn't merely delayed but held off completely.
This was fantastic. I'm amazed that this was made for a game jam. One of my favorite entries so far.
AWESOME GAME!! I haven't seen any that let you interact with other players like this! This is such an impressive submission i am actually in awe.

Absolutely magical. Zero complaints.
Though maybe some minor nitpicks. Some kind of cursor symbol or indicator for how big the paint brush will actually be would be helpful. And sometimes the ghost's dialogue can cover up a painting, though either way, this really is one of my favs this jam. The way the museum even opens up as you keep moving in it, absolutely amazing.
Some of my uploads so far not counting art which I added to lol

Really cool idea! I'm very bad at drawing so I mainly visited the museum ^^ I would be afraid to maintain a self-moderated system like this haha!

This is a really cool game, well done!
This is so good, thanks a lot for making this!
Magnificent! People create such wonderfull art, Good of you to use that to your advantage
Such a great idea! Thank you for making this! Love the sound design also!
incredible stuff, art & sound are top notch, concept is amazing , we're just a bit off from the "avoid the inevitable" but apart from that nothing to say, hats off lads!
wow this is a really cool concept! And to do it in just a game jam! so cool!
What a unique idea! Got absolutely mesmerized walking around the gallery to the point I got lost lol. And painting was really fun!
My only complaint is that I got an "Out of memory" error that would crash the game (web version) 2 times halfway through my paintings  Guess I took to long with my drawings
Don't think there is really more to say. Its really beautiful. I guess you could argue it isn't much of a game really,c closer to an experience or a nice place to visit. But thats really splitting hairs. Can you imagine it in VR?
The idea is really great, if I had a complain I would say that maybe a way to cancel the last action would be great, especially since I suck at drawing
Dang. This is a heck of a social experiment, and pretty ambitious for a jam game. Smaller brush sizes, pls? Great work!
Wow this is super trippy and creative! I really like the idea of exploring an interactive virtual art gallery. All the artwork was fun and quirky and the music added alot to the atmosphere as well. Fantastic work!

What a cool experience. It was pretty incredible to see the collection of really well made art by all the people that tried out the game. It was a cool concept and executed really well. The visual style was good choice and did a good job with the peacefully walking through a museum feel. The one thing I think is missing is a way to check up on the art you did to see how it has been modified. Also it could have been cool to have paintings that could have more than two authors, it would have been fun to see how they transform over time. Overall though fantastic work.
Great game! The concept is so unique and fun. Already the graphics besides the paintings are really good, and the transitions as more hall ways pop up feels nicely polished. Really well done!
Very unique take on the theme! And so well executed, from the satisfying art editor, the characters' witty dialogues, down to the very details like the brush stroke sound and different room layouts. All that along the technical feat of storing all user generated art! I didn't get tired of wandering in the gallery until sadly my game crashed from lack of memory. This has to be my favorite game of this edition for sure!!

Amazing, thank you!
We had a great time drawing Starlight on stream! Amazing game.

Only if there was an erase buttonnnnn. Such an interesting concept that was well put together in such a small amount of time.
Anyone can get lost in there trying to view all of the art and with the constant loading of new rooms, it seems like there is no end.
What were you planning to do with this game for the future?
P.S. I had to lol I tried the best I could to get the photo to look the same with your limited palette vlcsnap-2022-04-09-22h49m38s117.png

I knew I was saving my 5 star rating for something.
Love the art style. The game mechanics are unique. It is a well thought of game. Love the use of the network to help share their artistic taste and ideas.

Echoing what everyone else is saying but this is really an amazing experience. If I didn't go in knowing it was a game jam game I'd have never even known it. Such a great idea that ties everything together so well - the writing, art, sound all come together and really set the tone. You should all be very proud of this!
Very fun game! We made 3 paintings and voted for a few. Other people made really good art here! I wish there was a preview of the brush size and maybe more colors.

Haha, yesterday I put this up:

And today I came back to find:

Thanks whoever made that, I love it! 🐟
Outstanding! Brilliant idea and perfect exectuion! I regret not playing eat earlier!
Already lots of fun and has so much potential; really can't wait to see where this goes.
This is ... simply amazing... The audio ... the Gallery... the creations... the anonymous collaborations... The (almost) mandatory naughty drawings... It is a complete experience... I literally have nothing bad to say, this is just IT ! This would be great to see as a completed title, with more features (a color picker would have been so nice, but on the other hand... Limitations nourish creativity ! This one , my friends... is the winner of LD50.
This game has it all: style, mood, design, ghosts... You were playing with fire with this concept, but the end result and overall tone came out perfectly, and it seems that most of the players are on board.
There is a lot of polish applied to this minimal design, and I even loved all the ghosts! Saving and loading persistent artwork on the fly in procedurally generated gallery rooms is also an extraordinary technical feat given the time constraints. Amazing and rich entry!
I can only repeat what everybody else is saying! It is a really chilling game and the art, music and style is awesome. It is more than a Jam Game.
This game is simply a masterpiece. I'm just completely speechless, I don't think I've ever seen a game as wholesome as this. The fact that you made this for Ludum Dare is mindblowing.
This really is something special.
Wow this is so cool, really impressive and beautiful !

Very cool idea and well executed to boot!
theme lol bad game -2
@6smith We started by listing things that were inevitable, one idea we had was, "it's inevitable that online communities get invaded by trolls" and the game idea came from that.
Wow, like that style and that Mapbuilding, realy creativ idea :)
Very cool and interesting game. I'm ready to play it all day long. 11/10
Incredibly creative! Impressed with what you were able to accomplish in a weekend. I found myself roaming the halls looking at the art for much longer than I expected. Well done!
Wow, I didn't expected to spend so much time on this game. Surprisingly nice experience. It have a Nintendo-ish vibe. Very well done!
What a really cool concept! The link with the theme seems a bit far fetched (I might be too optimistic, I believe in community efforts :p), but I still find the core idea really interesting and cleverly implemented. The work that I saw on my session are very neat, and while I'm terrible at drawing, it's reassuring to think that someone might fix my terrible art at some point. The counter-side is that I felt a bit intimidated in editing others people creations, as it would be definitive and I don't want to ruin them. Maybe the game could allow more fixes, but that would be tricky to balance without turning each drawing into chaos of hundred iterations.
I should also mention the excellent art of the game itself! It's simple, but provide a great mood both for creation and contemplation. I like the animation on the rooms generations, and the different visitors and their dialog. It makes it a fantastic virtual museum to visit!
I love such game ideas where you rely on the community to create content. It reminds me of the r/place event on Reddit, loved to see how people interact with one another's art. 10/10, certainly one of the more creative entries and I hope to see it grow big one day :)

I don't get it. I couldn't see any paintings, neither blank nor roped off ones. Are the servers down or something?
@xjcl Everything is showing up fine for me at the moment. Which version did you play?
I tried both the web and Windows versions, I'll show a screenshot in a second
@xjcl What country are you in?
DifferentStrokes_IsEmpty.PNG
I'm in Germany. As you can see above there are no artworks on the wall. As I said it didn't work as a standalone Windows 10 exe and it didn't work in Firefox. You can try to give me an IP or URL to ping but I can at least reach https://www.differentstrokes.xyz/
@xjcl It'd probably be easier to troubleshoot this in our Discord if you're interested: https://discord.gg/7r7MtVmEnh In the browser version, if you open the browser console do you have any errors? They'd probably show up in red.
Yes I'm getting 403 Forbidden for requests to `https://differentstrokes.xyz/api/get/files/0?token=
Wow, it is such a good game! It's amazing! P.S. HTML 5 doesn't show exhibitions :)
