Great game!
The atmosphere and the visuals were very well done, really meshing well together with the gameplay to deliver a great experience. Good use of the theme! Sometimes it was hard to read text but it was manageable, all in all I really enjoyed your game and I'm looking forward to seeing it being developed further! Cheers!
I liked the visuals a lot, it reminded me of No More Heroes and Killer is Dead. The controls are simple but effective and they have room for improvement, and with a little more attention to sound design this could be a really good game. Looking forward to it!
The mood was so well done I felt uneasy a lot of times, really well done! The game was very polished and it shows, creating an unique experience. I hope you keep going with it further, it has a lot of potential!
Great game! I loved the jump sound and animation. The priority paid off as the hamster surely is cute, and the game plays very well. Good job!
I liked a lot how the game could be another murderfest, but instead it's about healing others. Nice subversion! The controls are simple and effective, the sound and visual style are great, and I feel you have an amazing ideia to expand upon. Also, not that it matters, but between us we have two jam games sharing their name with a Faith no More song... cool coincidence, I guess
Interesting concept! I really liked how you can feel the inevitability coming towards you. I liked the visual style, it's simple but with its own complexity. And memorable! The audio was good too. My only setback was the dirt being randomly generated, for a valuable resource being like this makes the game have too much control over the player's progress. Anyway, the game is fun and applies the theme in all of its glory. Good job!
This is for sure the best experience I've ever had with a jam game. It is a fully formed concept, expanded and well executed, and an amazing game! Even for someone who can't draw if their life depends on it, like me, to be able to just watch other people's work of art is incredibly satisfying. You should probably just release it as a full game, as it is not only a complete experience, but also better than many popular online games - about drawing or not. Truly amazing!
Great concept! I really liked how there is a "right answer" but it's entirely reachable while playing. The no-click version is even better! Nice visuals too, it's full of personality.
I liked the idea of controlling two characters at once, it demands some coordination and planning to play in the way the player is supposed to. My only question is with the boosters; I understand that the meteor moves faster as you refuel your rocket, but is there a game design reason for the booster to be so heavily based on physics? I ask that because one time the booster hit the meteor, but in an specific angle that made it sped up the meteor towards the planet, instead of moving it away. I think it would be better to make the booster automatically push the meteor away no matter where he lands, only that he lands. Other than that, I really liked the game, and enjoyed playing it for lots of rounds. Good visuals, good audio, and good atmosphere!
I really liked the idea of towers getting damaged, also the economy upgrades. Has a lot of potential, with some little improvements on the UI (like showing the tower level, or indicating its range when you select it) and allowing the player to change/sell/destroy placed towers, this could be a strong tower defense game on its own. Good job! The voice acting was a really nice touch.
I liked the gameplay loop, it has enough depth to keep the player engaged but even with the hardcore build it never felt "cheap" or sudden. But of course the real star here is the video... what an amazing feat! For a game that was made in three days, surely the FMV gives a different, more polished vibe. I didn't wanted to focus too much on the recordings because I found the game really enjoyable even without it, but they really add so much that it's impossible to ignore. Top notch humor! I love it!
Cool concept! As others have said, it really feels like something that could be played on mobile, try to look into that. It has potential! For the game itself, I think a timer (or score indicator) would be a nice quality of life addition to make the game more appealing. Also, the mouse controls for the blue bar rotation could be changed for a more "local" approach, to be able to rotate the bar without having to transverse the entire screen. All in all, I really enjoyed the game, and like people already said I think you should expand it into a full-fledged mobile game. Great job!
The leaf blower is really pleasant to use, the aim and animations are flawless and there is a cathartic experience about blowing papers away and getting rewarded for it. The character movement felt a little stiff in comparison, but the main focus is on aiming and firing, and both are spot on amazing. The humor is well complemented by the graphics and sound, and the intro quote got me as soon as I saw it. Great game!
I really liked the game, the concept is easy to grasp but hard to master, and the difficulty curve felt fair, challenging without being too much to bear. The graphics and sound design are great, and I really liked how everything is cohesive. Really really well done, amazing work!
Basically a hidden gem, this game is one of my favourite entries of the jam! Every element is complementary with each other, and together they form a truly great experience. Of course there are things to polish here and there, but it's baffling that you made in three days a game that reminds me of Reigns (and rivals with it) with the number administration, unpredictable outcome and quick playtime. The sound effects are a beast of its own, I laughed at every new card I found. Incredible job!
What an amazing game! I loved the graphics and the audio, sometimes I left the workers to die on purpose just to watch the cool animation and sound effects (please don't hate me). The gameplay loop is satisfying (even more with the visual and audio cues) and I felt like I could play it for hours. And to be done in three days is no less of an amazing feature! Great job!
Good game! The soundtrack is especially captivating, adding an uneasy feeling of urgency. I downloaded the game and sometimes my character got stuck while I was pressing the movement key, but I guess this was unintended. Other than that, some little Quality of Life improvements like a minimap could add to an already great experience. Great job!
I have a tendency to make (and play, and like!) humor games while on jams, and I'm saying that just as an introduction because I simply loved your entry! The humor is well applied, not only with the setting and the characters (Mr. BossMan is the first boss that I've ever liked) but also the details - the sound effects for every unexpected new object really added a lot to an already great experience. The game outside of its humor is great too, I loved trying to gather the maximum number of good cans of soup, and how the difficulty ramped in a balanced way that let me learn the game while letting bad cans pass. Sorry, Mr. BossMan, for my bad job. Amazing game, well done!
Great concept, I really liked how you can escape with your troops if things start to get overwhelming. Really fits the theme! The graphics and soundtrack are great, the music can be repetitive (only because of the context of long, worn out battles) but it never was a problem, and even after I stopped playing I still was humming the melody on my mind. Very good game!
I've been playing the endless mode for two days straight now and still the weed being presented is not my weed. What an experience, I thank you for giving the rest of the world such brilliance.
