Only game I'm rating as a 5/5 in all categories, The amount of polish made it a joy to play. This doesn't mean it's without critique, I think that there should be more punishment for simply waiting for documents to fall before leafblowing them off at the very end as the enemies that pick up those documents can be dealt with really easily. But really, that's about it. Good job everyone!
@trashbag Thank you so much for playing! If I could go back and do it again, I think I would focus more on the gameplay as opposed to the intro and menu, and try to really make it challenging and fun. Glad you enjoyed it though, and thanks for the feedback!
Loved this little game SO MUCH! Fresh, funny, cute.. it has it all ^^ Definitly a winner for me.
Game is very polished and nice to look at / listen to. The gameplay obviously could be expanded as it's very simple in its current state.
I won! I was really impressed by how polished the game is. The graphics, sounds and even the time indicator are all really fancy. The difficulty level is set reasonably; I didn't get it on the first try but finished the game on the third attempt. That being said, there could be more to the gameplay.
There's a few small things I noticed: - the document counter persists between runs, so that makes level 1 really easy once you've lost once. - I wish the intro was skippable. - At first, I thought the baddies would kill me and only realized later that they steal the documents

The leaf blower is really pleasant to use, the aim and animations are flawless and there is a cathartic experience about blowing papers away and getting rewarded for it. The character movement felt a little stiff in comparison, but the main focus is on aiming and firing, and both are spot on amazing. The humor is well complemented by the graphics and sound, and the intro quote got me as soon as I saw it. Great game!

Really good. Nice looking and polished. Got more satisfying once I realised you could blow the tax inspectors off the building too :) Cut scene at the beginning should probably be skipable and the window breaking sound was pretty loud.
The Elvis boss (or tax guy?) walking down the stairs was a great visual representation of the ticking clock and a tension builder.

@codebug I'm putting together a list of things to fix, and making the cutscene skippable would definitely be a big quality of life thing to fix, so I'll make sure it's on there. The window breaking sound could probably be turned down a bit too :). Thanks for playing and for the feedback!
Very nice! I had fun with this (played solo). 820 was max score I could get to. Seems like a decent amount of thought went into this and it shows in the game play. Great entry

The only point I really have is that it might not be really fitting with the theme. Or I'm missing the point. That's also valid. Instead of delaying the inevitable, you can completely run away from it. (which is nice for taxes)
You said in the comments that you wouldn't focus so much on the intro if you could go back and do it all again but I have to say that intro made my day! Very polished polished entry, I enjoyed playing it.

Awesome Game! Really polished! The bos coming down the stairs was really anxiety inducing. I played with a controller and handling was really good. My strategy was rotate the blower and run left to right. Worked really well. I do not think the cutscene needs to be skippable. Its like 30secs at most. I think 30 seconds are not to much to ask to see this funny scene. Window sound was too loud though.

The leafblower was so fun! Really liked the visual indicator on the right side showing the time remaining, what a great touch of detail instead of just slapping on a timer or depleting bar.
This game inspired me to do my taxes! No just kidding.
Unlike taxes this was a very pleasant experience! Fun I should call it. Simple but really cool with an unique spin. One thing I noticed that the boss going down the stairs is not more than a timer maybe some gameplay element that slow him down could be interesting like you can make him getting a call or something.

Man, the look and sound of the game is amazing. Incredible stuff. The gameplay itself is pretty fun too, but it got a bit samey after a while. Taxes as something inevitable is a good idea, but the mechanics itself didn't really reinforce that, since you could just win the game.

I played solo, and my poor mouse definitely needs a break. This was an amazing game. The concept was great, and I loved that leafblower. Just spinning it around and watching the papers blow away was lovely. The whole game was lovely, but spinning with a leafblower was just 🤌 .
