Five Minute Fire Fight by Josh Riley 2017-05-14T01:08:53Z
Cool game, I like the idea. The AI is a bit unforgiving perhaps. Took me a while to figure out what I needed to do but once I did I played several rounds. Sound was good too!

Cool game, I like the idea. The AI is a bit unforgiving perhaps. Took me a while to figure out what I needed to do but once I did I played several rounds. Sound was good too!
Neat little game. Looked very good and sound wasn't annoying. Not sure how much fun I had but the elements to make it fun are definitely there.
I found this difficult to understand. Instructions were so long that I have to admit I skipped over them and just tried to figure it out on my own. Seems like the concept is good though.
A very inventive little game. My only criticism would be is that I didn't feel like I could lose the game.
I think with some polish you'd really have something here! Very fun for a short period of time. Took me a bit to figure out why I was kept killing over though. Pretty solid.
Hey not bad! Very old school feel that I really like. Nice job!
I had SO much fun playing this! I could easily see me playing this on a cell phone for long periods of time. If I was to offer some criticism it would be that if you took some time to make actual textured planets in a final release it would be awesome but more than that, the targeting could be more visible, maybe a brighter color? In any case, easily in the top 10 games I've played in a Ludum Dare.
I get the idea but but not really my kind of game. It looks really good visually but figuring out what was going on was next to impossible for me. Maybe a video demo would be helpful?
Maybe it was an issue on my end but I didn't have any sound, that would have really made it more engaging. That said, I really liked this. Took me a minute to get the puzzle aspect of it but it was cool once I did. Not sure what the end game is if there is one?
@numnumdude - I agree fully! When it comes to bugs, I try to squash them all before hand but this Jam weekend just did not want to cooperate :disappointed:
@makenai and @micahcowan, thank you for pointing out the Mac issue, I hadn't considered that and with fix it.
@mandarad - Yeah, sound was the last thing I did with not much time to spare. I have some small updates planned once I get some time away from work.
I'm going to do my best to have a Mac friendly version out soon! Lesson learned for sure!
@slowian - Thank you! I just need to get some time away from work. Probably June before I can get anything new in.
@kate-kligman - Regarding the floor, you hit spot on what I was going for. It is suppose to be a kitchen but the texture ended up being to small to convey it was well as I had hoped.
@kunonooni - Regarding the sound cutting off, you are absolutely correct. I have a single sound manager for the whole game with a single source. Usually I do this sort of thing with a sound manager but with each individual object having it's own audio source so that they can all play at the same time. It was a last minute addition though as I know sound is one of those things I count off for when playing a game if it doesn't have any.
@EveryoneElse - Thanks You!
@ccglp - bad decision on my part. My left mouse button gets used a lot and tends go bad, so I was giving it a break :)
A nice challenge for sure but a really nice feel to the game. I love the game over effect :)
Collision detection seemed to be very unforgiving. Not bad and lots of content to explore.
Pretty cool, I'm gonna have to dive into your source a little bit for the digging effect.
Loved the jokes and most of the voice acting (some was a bit high pitched for me). Game reminded me a bit of Space Quest which is something we don't see much anymore. Not bad little game.
Boy how I wish there would have been some sound, would have distracted me a bit more to keep me playing longer. Conceptually I really like this. Controls were touchy, maybe if it eased into rotation a bit more it would have been easier. Not bad though. As for how to get sound in compo time, check out some of the free tools like http://www.bfxr.net/ and http://online.boscaceoil.net/#!/, easy and quick to use (difficult to master but you can certainly make passable sounds and music with them quickly)
I like the concept and that fact that you did multiplayer and are auto matching people is great. that said, I found it confusing and wasn't sure what I was doing :(
I liked the simple graphics, reminded me a bit of Minimetro.
Pretty cool little game. Loved the explosion at the end which I saw each time I played (in other words I don't think I ever got close to winning). Load times were a bit heavy.
This game has a lot of good things going for it! Graphics are wonderful, game play seems mostly good, and having the extra settings options are a nice touch. Music wise I felt like I was in an episode of Knight Rider (good? not sure). Controls maybe could have worked differently for moving, maybe W moves forward all the time but in the direction you are aiming would have been better, that's just preference though.
I liked this a lot. I wish movement worked differently, it was really hard to steer
Easily one of the most clever little games I've played! Love the mechanics and the tone feels just right for this LD. I had a lot of fun. I could really see this as something I'd play on my phone or tablet during work breaks and such. Great job!
Not bad, had a very Don't Starve feel to it. Graphically I really liked it. I'd like to play a polished up version, I like this type of game. A bug I noticed is that when in Full Screen mode (on Web platform) the build menu didn't close all the way and you could still see some of the buttons. Help button didn't work either but otherwise the game was functional, nice job!
I like a lot of what is going on except it doesn't really feel like a game to me. A little like Don't Starve
Very interesting game. More humerus than anything else, so if that's what you were going for, bravo!
Very interesting little game. I think if I had the ability to control my moons a bit more I might of enjoyed it better early on. Overall though I really enjoyed it!
Oh I like this! I think with a little more work you could really turn this into something special. Any anytime you can work Kenney's stuff into your game, it's going to look great :)
I think with a second player this obviously would have been fun. But alas I am alone ;) It has a lot going for it and you appear to have put a lot of work into it. Not bad, just wish there would have been an AI opponent option.
As others are saying, controls are maybe not the best. Music is indeed really good. Needs some work but a great start!
Very cool concept. Graphics are great. At first I thought, "this is too easy" but soon I found out that wasn't going to be the case and loved the shrinking planet as a difficulty factor. Loving how the UI follows the shrinking planet as well, cool effect.
I found it a bit difficult but an interesting concept.
Short, but kinda sweet :) I like the inverted world idea.
I really liked this! It did lock up on me though, not sure what happened there but couldn't finish it. Visually it is stunning!
Mechanically interesting. Loved the glass breaking.
I'm honestly not sure what to say about this game. Conceptually it is a good idea but it was just way to slow for my liking. Based on what I was seeing spinning my Panda around didn't seem to do anything to effect the game, assuming that is the case that's a missed opportunity with the satellites flying around, you can have collided with them and maybe made the game a bit more fast paced. Graphically I love the game :)
Thought this was pretty funny but wish there had been a little more too it. Loved the look and feel though
I like it, though I did find it a bit difficult but maybe I just suck. As other pointed out, controls are interesting and it would probably be cool on a touchscreen.
I really like the zen garden feeling I get from this. I would look forward to playing something a little more polished in the future :)
Very simple and an excellent first entry.
This was, interesting... I think in a good way. I played several times but couldn't never get very old. I probably just suck. Sounds was great!
I really like playing maze style games and this didn't disappoint. Maybe some music would have been nice, but you had sound and that is always a plus. Thanks for commenting on my game!
I have to admit it took me longer than it should have to figure out what I was suppose to be doing. Once I did, I had a bit of fun :) I enjoyed this
Lol, that was a lot of fun for about a minute. Nice job
Not bad
Really good entry! Maybe it did this and I didn't notice it, but would have been cool if maybe as you get higher in level and take more and more damage you lose pieces of your circuits or they get broken or something like that. Then you have less options. That said it was already pretty challenging so maybe that's not necessary. Really liked it and the LCARS graphics are AWESOME
Built a few games like this myself because I really love them. This was a good take on it, the hit box on the fuel seemed overly large maybe but otherwise I thought it felt pretty good. Nice job!
I'm not sure I ever really figured out what to do. I didn't seem to be killing any monsters and clicking the special icons on the right never seemed to do anything. I like the idea of just fighting off a large horde but never seemed to be something I could do.
It was very odd and not user friendly but after a while I sort of figured out what I was doing I think. I like the idea but I think it needs some work. Looks like it might make an interesting mobile game
Seems like the ball should roll a little faster when not using space bar power but otherwise seemed functional and entertaining for a couple plays. The score submission was a nice touch.
Not a bad game. I loved the humor, the quotes on GameOver were a nice touch. Controls were a bit difficult for me to get use to, but pretty responsive once I did. I couldn't get past the first check point, because I'd run out of power and the battery that comes a couple platforms after the checkpoint didn't seem to get picked up when I'd collide with it. Sounds was pretty good too.
Thanks for rating my game!
Thanks for the feedback everyone, I'll increase the hit box size a bit as soon as I have a few minutes.
@Caleb-reinagel Thanks for the feedback! It actually does remove energy as they hit. It is a calculation based off how many hit points they had left. Crash Damage = 1% * Hit Points. Then that is removed from your energy pool. However you have energy regen too so in the early game it isn't as noticeable but the further into the game you get the enemies get faster, get more hit points, and there are more of them. So eventually letting them hit is detrimental. If you let them hit you'll notice your energy does go down. I should probably reduce regen or increase the damage though so it is more apparent. I noticed the Game Over screen not stilling up there too when I was playing it a second ago. I think I must not of saved the with my cooldown code in place. It should wait 5 seconds before allowing clicks.
@pilly Thanks to you as well! Regarding music, it is only on the title screen. I can hear it on my end in Firefox and Chrome. There is a Mute feature, perhaps you pressed "M", if you can't hear it on the title screen still, try pressing M to see if that takes care of it. I had music on the main game but it was too repetitive and clashed with the other sounds. Definitely needs to be added later. Yep, you need to lead them. I had the bullets going faster so it wasn't as necessary but that felt too easy so I changed it. Definitely more sound and graphics (original ones too) need added. I had planned for additional weapons, an animated shield, animations for destructions, etc... but I had to those features for the jam.
Great feedback all! Keep it coming :)
@kr4ft3r Thanks for the feedback. When I'm home later I will check the code for the game over screen because others have mentioned it too. There should be a 5 second delay on that screen but I'm guessing it didn't get saved (unity crashed on me in the final hours)
Thanks for all the feedback! I totally agree with everything said so far. Regarding being too easy, I think I messed up my math on that one, it should be reducing by 1% per hit point left on the enemy that collided with the base but I think what is actually happening (haven't looked at code yet, going on memory) is that it is probably reducing by a percent of the power left. So if an enemy has 4 hit points when it collides it should remove 4 points from the power but I bet what I actually coded in such a way that if I have 50% power rather than ending up with 46% power I bet I'm at 48% (4% of 50 is 2 rather than 4 that I want to get rid of). At that rate, in the early game your Power Regeneration is going to be able to overcome that. I bet I'm doing the same thing with the bullets as they should be reducing power per use as well.
All that said, when you get into higher level it should start to be more noticeable as the enemies get more hit points, move faster, and you have more of them on screen. Levels are increase based on how many enemies you kill, which is always double the last level requirement and I believe I have level 1 set at 5 enemies to advance.
Warning sound definitely needs toned down, not looped, removed, something. It was a last minute addition when a play tester told me they had no idea they were about out of power.
Keep the feedback coming!
@nokusu thanks! Regarding graphics, it was a jam entry and this time around I used assets from Kenney.nl so he'd deserve the credit for those. I agree background music would much improve it
@elmismopancho i did try other speeds, this seemed best for my play testers. I do like the idea of difficulty settings, I'll add that to my to-do list!
@draklaw thanks, I'm currently playing with making them tint red and darker red as they run out of hit points
@quadtree thanks! Those satellites have a weighted drop weight. So technically there are random but less so for the boss ships.
@belga54 I'll look into the slow bullets. It likely is a fps issue
Thanks @MianaGames!
@garethjenkins good point, I should have made that more clear. The final release version will have a quick intro/tutorial.
Thanks Jupiter!
I rather enjoyed this! Maybe a bit more challenge would have been nice but overall very well done
Needs some work, maybe each day the words are harder or fall faster something like that. I had to purposefully type wrong just to see how the theme was implemented. Wasn't bad, I love typing games. The overall look of the game is great.
Not a bad entry. Needs some work. Seemed like I got stuck (invisible colliders maybe?) several times. I had to look up MonoGame, hadn't heard of it before so I learned something and need to check it out :)
I really liked the music slowing down as the energy ran out, very nice touch. Unfortunately I couldn't get past the second level. Seemed like a bug, I kept colliding with the wall and could squeeze through no matter what I tried. Other than that, seems like a great concept
Very nice. I really like the simple pixel style particles. It is the effect I was hoping to go for in mine and never got around to it. Music and sound was very nice. Only "issue" I saw was that if I stayed in the far right corner and just kept shooting I could survive for a pretty long time without any problems.
Shameless request, if you haven't tried my game you should. I'd be interested in your feedback since we have some similar things going on: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/invaders-from-the-next-planet-over
Well that was interesting. I"m not sure it was exactly fun but it kept me busy sort of like a fidget cube :)
Really like the sound in this game! I think there are probably too many energy packs around to make the game challenging, perhaps if they dropped after killing an enemy would be better. I "won" but I'm not exactly sure what the win condition was :)
Overall I liked this, just wish it was a bit longer.
I tried it a few times but still didn't quite get what I was doing but that's probably on me. Looks good, some sound would have been nice.
Very nice game. I wasn't sure how I was generating money, maybe just from killing ships? I love shoot'em ups, this is great.
I found this very difficult but perhaps that is what you were going for. I couldn't make it very far as I became frustrated. The good news is I think that with some polish this could be a good game. Maybe consider some other control choices or allow players to set them. I found it really hard to control the player and use cvb to control the brightness.
Nice effort though, I can see that you put a lot of work into this.
I love what I think is suppose to be going on here but alas I really have no idea how to control it. I managed to get a snowmobile moving once and from there it seemed like I was out of resources and couldn't ever figure out how to get more. A tutorial or some instructions would have been really nice and I see what looks like it could be an amazing entry.
On the plus side, music is great and the graphics look really good. I can tell a lot of effort went into this.
Very tricky little game. Sound would have been nice.
Sound effects were really good. I like the general idea. Some tips on controls would have been nice. Nice job!
I like it. Love the South Park style art. Had to try a couple times to figure out what exactly each item was doing.
Not bad, a bit complicated.
A very different game, I liked it!
I love the concept but some instructions in game would be nice. Seems like I couldn't ever craft anything. I do like what you were going for and the game over screen was creative.
Simple but fun. Maybe just a tad too difficult or I could just stink. Music and sound were very nice.
Final score was 355. Once I got the hang of it I found this exceptionally fun! The animations are great (especially game over). The mechanics are solid. Might be my favorite this LD!
Simple but pretty good entry. Nice job! Hit box on monsters seemed like it might be a little large but otherwise no issues
Very nice entry. The firing controls took a bit of getting use to but overall well done.
Very clever game! I couldn't get past level 5. I love the graphics and the animates. When he flips upside down to plug in, that was just a great idea. Overall this hit all the right buttons for me as far as game play is concerned and I don't usually like puzzle games. Nice job!
Might be good if you include in your instructions that you are suppose to click on the "1" in the level selection to actually play. I probably spent 3 minutes trying to figure out how to get past the menu.
Couldn't ultimately figure out what I was suppose to be doing. Sounds was really good. I could move around, shoot, and I could mine but took forever to figure out how (have to hold F). Never saw any enemies to shoot at and never figured out what the building actually did.
Seemed like a good idea though.
Looks like it would be pretty fun with 2 players but alas I am alone. I didn't count off any points for that though. Controls felt okay and it looks and sounds great. The Controls screen doesn't let you out of it as others have said (I used HTML5 version). Not a bad game, maybe add a basic AI for Player 2?
Seems like this would be really cool but I can't get the mic to work on the game. He just keeps say "I don't understand". But looks like a great concept!
I like what going on here except the controls, little to difficult to move around. Otherwise well done!
I didn't hate this, it wasn't bad for 6 hours work. I've been in that boat too.
By the way, noticed you hadn't voted on any games yet, while it may be too late for this LD, next time make sure and vote on other people's games, you'll show up in the listings more often and people will be able to see your game and vote on it.
Neat idea. I found it a bit slow but otherwise was pretty good.
Very hard but enjoyable. Good job!
This was really pretty cool. I generally don't care for puzzle style games but this worked for me. Nice job!
Wow this was a great little game! I couldn't get past level 11. The only thing was I wasn't a fan of was the abrupt stopping. It's like when you get to the end of the power line that you drew, physics ends and you just fall. Maybe that was what you were going for though.
Simple but a bit addicting :) I think if the bot was a tad bit slower or maybe the angle was a bit less I could have controlled him better. I liked it
Agree with the others, this is really pretty difficult. I like the idea though and the graphic fit nicely with what you were going for I think. I think increasing the energy would be well within the rules still as it really isn't changing the overall mechanics just the balance.
I absolutely love the art in this game! It set a great tone for the game which was pretty fun to play. Good sound as well. Nice job!
Not a bad first entry. Sound would have been good, games just don't feel like games without sound :) By the way, I saw your game through the post on the front page (advertising works!) but you'll get more votes if you play other peoples games and rate them (I see you've given out zero ratings). You'll get more visibility in the game list if you are rating other games ;)
Not bad. Took me a while to figure out what I was aiming for. Music was really good
Pretty difficult but otherwise kind of fun.
I nice take on tower defense. Seems like it might be a bit better if you started with a bit more power but otherwise I really enjoyed that!
Exceptionally difficult! I couldn't make it past the first spike area (your second screen shot). I tried over and over and couldn't figure it out. That said I love this concept and it looks really good. Maybe I didn't make it far enough into the game but how does the theme play into this?
Seems like a good idea that didn't get finished. The bullet ricocheting off the walls were a nice touch. Took me a while to find out how to rotate. I could only play for a brief time because FPS games make me very dizzy so it is possible it would have got better
Always love checking out your entries, this was was maybe not as engaging so some of your others but still a really good entry. I loved the names on the weapons and that fact that I could read them in town but often I returned with too many items and the didn't all appear on screen.
Controls were excellent and intuitive. Seems like this would actually make a really good mobile game if you could do something different than a hover for the tooltip.
Might of been nice if you could see on the tooltip a comparison with what you had equipped already, on the other hand that might make it too easy and remove some of the snap decision you have to make.
I found hard mode the most fun.
I played this yesterday on the HTML5 version but that appears to be gone now (link still there but no game). Windows one worked too though.
Not bad, I liked the concept. I would turn off the, what I assume is, coordinate system that is overlapping the score a bit. I enjoyed it though!
Unfortunately I can't get the rar files to unzip with WinRar or WinZip. Maybe upload a normal zip? Friendly reminder to rate other games and you'll have more people check out your game as well.
@adonisdevs Thanks! Yes there is a lose state. If you hit -100% the game is over. Admittedly it is a bit difficult to lose but I ran out of time to balance it out better. The higher your percentage of science though the faster it should spawn. As for exiting, "Q" should quit for any desktop version. That doesn't work in the HTML version, though "N" should take you to the start screen.
@croze I use to play something similar to this on my Commodore 64, it was babies flying out of a burning building and you had to bounce them to safety. Most of the inspiration came from that.
@hakro - Thanks, originally I had the truck bed as the only collider area and technically it still is but it expands up to just before the hood as it seemed a little too difficult. Also considered flipping the truck so it was always going forward but that was was frustrating
@conorod I agree that the sound gets repetitive. Definitely not my strong point. The truck controls were on purpose, note that you can break using the left ctrl key. It was incredibly easy to play when the truck didn't have the deceleration portion but I may have overdid it.
Thanks Jupiter!
@fireslash I completely agree about the instructions. I realized at about 20 minutes before deadline that i hadn't provided any sort of instructions which was definitely critical. A quick intro tutorial would certainly be a great way to go. The controls were an attempt to add some skill to the game. You mentioned that they were a little all over the place compared to standard controls, what would you have done differently? The controls are Unity standard so that you could use a controller.
@jackou thank you! Yeah the audio bugs seem to be the conversion to WebGL. There is probably a compression setting I don't have right someplace. The monkey's are contained on floors 2-3, the bottom level is a safe zone ;)
@garygreen Thanks! For the main drum beat you hear during the game play, I literally went into Bosca Ceoil and just started moving my mouse around until I got something that didn't sound like complete trash. I have no musical talent whatsoever
@wrenpirate thank! Don't have a Mac so can't test it out. I did try it in Chrome, Firefox, and Edge without a problem though. Any suggestions on the controls are greatly appreciated for future projects. The acceleration and deceleration are 100% by design, let me know if you are talking about something else.
@Anonymous - I do not disagree. Sound is a two factor issue for me, one I can't create sound very well and two is that I did it at almost the very end and didn't play test long enough for it to get on my nerves.
As for the controls, I'm still not getting that part. I'm good with people not liking it but I'm not getting the "why" so that I can improve it. I'm using some pretty standard accel and decel code but did fudge it a bit because the game was incredibly easy when there was almost no acceleration or deceleration. Both accel and decel are also effected by your total load, where it gets slower to accelerate and deceleration is harder. There is a break control as well. The controls are also meant to be something you get better at so you can win faster.
Good feedback, just would like a bit more on the controls especially for future projects.
@cromo thank you for the detailed feedback especially on #1 as the car physics is what everyone hates but hasn't really said why, perhaps this is it. It might be a math error, I'll check it out.
On #2 & #3, this was actually something that was planned and I just ran out of time. I was going to have a monkey show up and the bigger the monkey, the more likely he would throw it further to give you an idea of where it might get thrown. They were also going to occasionally jump out and attack or something. Throws are more or less random right now. The mass of the different science items are different and they have a range of power that is thrown behind them (plus the window they come out of changes things a bit).
Excellent feedback, thank you!
Love the graphics. I had a really difficult time understanding what I was doing though. I like the idea of the type writer (which was beautiful) but controls I just didn't understand. I would have played through again but it took too long to get to where you do anything and there are a lot of games to be played :)
I think with a bit of polish and control description it would have been a decent little play through though. Maybe a way to skip through story for those that have played once already? I liked some of the humor too
There was some interesting stuff going on here unfortunately it was a bit slow moving and difficult to understand. I do like that idea of phases. Maybe also when choosing blocks it would have been nice to have something that shows which ones you selected prior to the event occuring.
Friendly reminder that if you rate other games, more people will rate your game too
Not bad. Better instructions would definitely have helped but once I realized I could use zxcv I got much better.
The game looks amazing. I just there would have been of a point/strategy to placing buildings. Mechanically it all seemed to work really well and the animation and sound was on point. I did feel a bit depressed and sad for the planet, maybe that is what you were going for. Overall I liked it.
I really liked this! Good to see some professionals getting into the competition (I'm assuming you're "the" Wyatt Chang).
Love the Star Trek theme but more importantly I love this style of puzzle game. Only real criticism is it might of been nice to have some ambient noise, something classic star trek-esk in the background.
Overall, great entry!
Neat game. Graphically it is really well done. I'm not very good with the style of controls (not your fault, I know that is a popular WASD schema). No complaints otherwise, nicely done!
Great game! Simple but creative. Mechanically it took some getting use to. Graphics were great. I did several playthroughs and sometimes it seemed like enemies just stopped spawning completely and I had to restart. Can't replicate that every time I play though.
Nice job!
Hey that's pretty cool. Which is had some sort of music. Some sort of power-ups would have been great. Maybe like temporary increase in size of the shield or something. Otherwise very nice job.
Hey that's pretty great! At first I was pissed because I couldn't auto fire and then I realized really quickly why that would have been a very bad design choice. I don't really think there way anything in the game that I'd change except maybe make it a bit more clear in the beginning that if you miss, that's where the green blobs come from. Oh, nice transitions too.
I think it could be fun but it was just pretty much randomly picking up blocks and trying to get them to stick together. Didn't appear to be any skill involved, correct? Definitely not a bad entry though.
Very cool! Seems like sometimes I could cheat a little though. It would allow me to put blocks on top of blocks that already were green. They wouldn't snap back to the side and I'm assuming the code just says "there are not more pieces left to play, so you win". Other than that, very nice! As I played through it ignoring that cheat, I found myself really scratching my head on the last puzzle but finally managed it.
I rather liked this! I wasn't very good but i played several times. I liked how when you died you just jumped right into a new game. Gave me the drive to keep trying. Might of been nice if your player flashed or something when the bonus was about to run out. Sometimes 5 seconds seemed like forever other times like it was no time as all and almost always when I was near a wall it would go away :)
This was pretty good, I'm honored to see my game title on the desktop :)
I might have nightmares from the audio (but that's good, I liked the audio)
I think my only criticism would be that it felt a little too real and as frustrating as real adware (even my virus scanner kept catching it, I had to disable it just to install). Overall, great entry!
Not bad but I couldn't ever really get the hang of it. Level 2 was just beyond my skill apparently. Liked the look and sound was good. Nicely done.
Looks like itch.io is down. My game isn't running any longer either. We all probably crashed it :) I've bookmarked your game and will try later.
An interesting yet difficult game. I could never really get the hang of it but it enjoyed the idea.
The only thing I missed from this was sound. There could have been some great *munch munch munch* type sounds or maybe "piiiiiiiizzzzzzzzzzzaaaaaa" in a slurred zombie tone :)
Overall I really enjoyed this and found it kind of funny. One criticism, I'd avoid doing Flash games. They're getting to the point where players have to do way to much to allow the browser to play them and I wouldn't be surprised if soon they prevent it completely.
I enjoyed this! Music has the same problem my own game does, repetitive and annoying after awhile. Game controlled well but wasn't until I read the How to Play that I figured out what was going on. I managed a time of 111 and a score of 76 on my last play-through. Nice entry!
I really liked the concept. There were a couple times though that I think the problem given wasn't solvable with the numbers on screen. Maybe that was intentional or I was just to panicked to find them.
Audio was really good.
Wow! I love this, best thing I've played thus far. Very easy to understand. A difficulty setting would be a great update. Balance and polish and I'd probably buy this game. Possible bug, in some cases it looked like I was able to pass over platforms that disappeared without an issue. I only really seemed to fall through when going off the bottom off the screen or too far left/right past the last tile (like a full tiles width). Otherwise, audio was great but maybe a bit aggressive (one of my shortfalls as well).
Please check out my entry: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/throwing-science-out-the-window
Lol, I like what you had going here. The second level though I could never get the set of 3 blocks placed. I tried several ways like moving the initial blue ones back to the HD even before the yellows were asked for and then the same with the others but the user always ran out of patience. I may just suck though.
Same, rar file is not widely used any more and for whatever reason all the ones I've tried to unzip it fail to do so.
It was overly obvious what I was suppose to be doing and the controls felt off. But with a little more time I think you'd really have something fun. The graphics are wonderfully child like, I loved them. The sound effects were good and the lasers from the Saucers were well done. What the heck were those things I was collecting?
Overall I did like this entry.
@honey Lol, my comment is missing a word, "It 'wasn't' overly obvious" is what it should have said.
For the controls, my mind does click well with this style of game where there isn't always a single forward button. I like it when pressing the "W" or Up arrow always moves you forward no matter what direction you are pointing when you can move along all axis's. So if I'm pointing Left, "W" moves me left.
There is nothing technically wrong with the way you have it now, it just isn't for me.
An interesting clicker. Maybe an indicator that says what you need to do when you launch a satellite would be nice, I didn't realize I needed to do anything more than click buttons on the side until reading your full description.
I really dislike First Person games because they make me dizzy but that isn't your fault. What I was able to play before I couldn't take it any more was good. Controls were responsive though sometimes lining up to open a door didn't seem like it wanted to trigger when I pressed E. Visually it was great, that's a lot of work for a Jam. Nice job.
I couldn't get past 36 but omg was that fun! I played many times. Maybe a fun factor would be if randomly when you launched a satellite it would be a different type that had varied speeds compared to others.
I like a lot about this game and had fun. Be sure to post a blog about it if you continue development so we can play it again :)
Hey this is really cool! I'm going to have to hook up a different keyboard with less sensative sparebar later and give it another go just because I enjoyed it. The third platform (angled with the spikes above it) was exceptionally difficult to get around but once I did I felt like I could go a lot further (hence I'm gonna play again later). Nice job!
Very enjoyable! Might of been nice if I could have used scroll wheel to swap weapons. I really really liked this one, well done!
Missed your stream this go around but as always you impressed with your entry. Sounds we great, graphics were nice. It got a bit too much bullet hell like on the boss and occasionally the boss would let out a scrap but I couldn't collect it (missing a collider?)
Otherwise very well done!
I liked this but I never could figure out how to shape the clay. I could make it tall and slim or short and fat but no hour glass shapes or anything like that. Obviously possible form other people's screen prints though. I liked the take on the theme and the controls were done well (aside from what I'm sure is me not figuring out the aforementioned shaping). My stuff sold for about $1100 each but only played for 3 days so I guess shape didn't matter much
Not bad, a bit difficult as others pointed out. Really liked the graphics.
Wow this is well done for such a sort time. Controls were difficult to get use to but once I played a few times I started to get the hang of moving. Graphically it great. I rarely saw any life spawn thus died a lot. Concept is really nice and I look forward to the post compo version!
@All thanks for the feedback and playing the game, I really appreciate it.
@gonutz Thanks for the detailed feedback! The sliding motion is something I like and quick to code so it is default style in contests. But I understand your feelings on it, perhaps a post compo version would have fixed move points for each of the background slots.
As the name suggest, it is highly unbalanced but it is supposed to be be largely random like a Slot machine. The different gamblers have a luck factor, the old lady has the highest luck but the high roller does more damage because he bets larger. Shooting at a gambler is to try to entice them to go away, it is also based on a chance rather than hit points. Each time you hit them and they are not swayed away, their move speed increases (basically they are thinking "Oh, that slot is paying out and I want to play it").
Basically the game is in hard mode right now, I had planned an Easy mode as well but only had about 6 hours to work on it in total and it wasn't a consecutive 6 hours either.
@gonutz Completely agree, I'm going to work on a description for the entry above and on itch.io so it is clear. Hope to get time to do a post jam video too
@red yeah i suck at making sounds. But I'd rather have bad sounds than no sounds, that's a big thing for me when I'm rating other peoples games too, no sound you lose points ;)
@randomhuman Thanks for the comments! Yeah it is completely unbalanced as the name suggests. I was just lucky to get a working product in 6 hours :) If I was to make a post LD version it would certain get some balance and maybe some different players as well to make the high risk player little less frequent and maybe a visual indicator when they are "feeling lucky" which is a mechanic I wasn't able to get to. I'd change the movement to be position based as well and not free floating.
@pequenodev lol, but yeah it is definately hard to figure out and even once you do there is so much randomness that skill isn't realy useful.
@hasanis - Game mechanics haven't changed any. Click the help button for an overview but basically the slots don't matter. Firing coins entices players because they hear the slot noises thinking it is paying out. Different players have higher likelihood of winning on a slot and that's bad for you. But if you don't shoot at them then you have no chance of preventing them from getting to the slot.
Thanks for checking it out, it was fun to build but maybe not the best concept in the world.
I think with a little polish and challenge added you'd really have a fun game I'd enjoying playing at length. The sound is good and the look of the game is really refreshing in an old school sort of way.
I loved this but I never could figure out how to get the sword! Played several times, might try again later. Animations were good and puzzles generally seemed thought out. Nice job
Very strange but oddly a bit fun. Maybe a bit more instruction would be nice but otherwise pretty good.
How very needful things of you. Nice departure from the types of games we using build out here. When I died though, I always got "RIP" with "Invalid Date - Invalid Date" under it with an Age of NaN. Otherwise, worked well.
While I wasn't sure exactly how the theme was represented and I really enjoyed the game. The graphics were great. The game play was a bit addicting.
Some audio would have went a long way to making this feel better but overall it was a good entry otherwise. The attacking seemed to not connect as often as I would have liked. Graphics were really nice!
I like the old school text based game feel to the command system though it could probably be made a bit clearer in the tutorial how it worked. Overall I thought it was pretty creative!
Nice game, very easy to understand. The leader board was a nice touch. Maybe some ambient noise music would have been nice, I myself failed on that part.
Nice little game, the art is perfect fit. As others stated some ambient music would be nice, I missed on that one myself.
I like the concept but I couldn't figure out how to get past the first enemy. It looks really good and other that I sucked at it I can't really fault it. Nice job
Haha, I like this! Well designed. Only thing I didn't like was the long intro and the long wait time for the elevator. Otherwise very nicely done!
lol, that was interesting to say the least. Nice take on the theme and it was some unique game play. I couldn't live longer than 36 seconds unfortunately :)
Play style was inventive. Not really my kind of game but overall I thought it was well done.
At first this seemed easy but then... not so much :) Generally I liked this. The Tutorial screen was good though the font was a bit difficult to read. The scene transitions were a simple and nice touch.
Really liked this. Performance was a bit of an issue but it was still playable. AI seemed surprisingly good.
Not a bad first try but maybe you bit off more than you could chew for a first time, card games are can get tricky :)
I'd suggest keep working on it a bit just to iron it out some so you can learn where to put focus in the next jam. Art is not bad at all for a jam entry where you did it yourself.
I liked this! Took me a few tries to get the hang of it. Drag and drop was a bit hit and miss but worked most of the time.
A good example of team work in my opinion. You could tell it was thought out and each of you had a role to play in the design. There were a couple little bugs where icons overlapped text on the popups but nothing terrible (HTML version). I played around a couple times, well done!
Love it! I beat the boss and after a time or two it was pretty easy to understand the mechanics. I love that it felt was a shooter that just takes you to the boss, a good way to focus and get all the mechanics in. Only constructive feedback I'd have is I wish shooting could have been another button/configurable or holding down the click would auto fire. Ultimately I programmed my mouse to push left click over and over :)
Nice puzzle game, I did have a couple on the first level where the battery didn't seem to make contact with the receiver at the end of the belt. After restarting several times I got it though. Sounds were fitting and the game fit the the theme well I thought.
I may have to come back to this to see if I can figure it out more. I didn't quite understand what was going on but the mechanics look fun. Nice effects and sound.
You have a lot good going on here. Firing was well done though enemies seemed to fire a bit to fast for me to actually shoot them, put I could just be bad at it. Overall I liked it!
Neat game, no real complaints other than it would be nice to see prices of the items you can buy. The core is really overpowered I think too but without it I probably wouldn't have figured out how to win so take that for what it is worth. Nicely done.
Very solid entry! Played through a couple times in order to get the hang of it but ones I did it was very enjoyable. Great sound effects, graphics, and game play. Some constructive feedback might be to have a way to pick up crew members that didn't hit the target or maybe the enemies could drop some crew when destroyed. But more importantly, a way to exit the game without having to use Alt+F4 :)
This is probably my favorite entry I've played thus far.
fyi - i couldn't get this to download.
So I liked the game but I'm not sure how it really fit the theme? From the description I assumed I was spending life to shoot but that didn't seem to be the case. On the third level (I think, the level with stairs) the controls seemed backward like I had to use S to move forward but I actually ran backward (WebGL).
What I did like was the great graphics and general game play. There seemed to be a lot of thought put into it.
I like some of what is going on here but I couldn't ever figure out what I was suppose to be doing aside from eating fish. Did I miss something?
I like the idea but the tarot card draw was always the same thing asking me to joust or fight hand to hand. If I went hand to hand, I lost an arm. If I went joust, I injured my leg. I always drew a 4 on my card but the three cards drawn at the beginning were 3,3,4. Seems like there may be an issue with random generation? Even with just 4 scenarios I should have hit at least one thing different I'd think.
That said, the game play was really fun and I look forward to a post jam version to try out.
I like the concept, too bad you didn't have time to finish but I know what that is like.
RPGMaker is a great tool, great assets to get you going quickly. Unfortunately I felt like I was mostly just running around. Didn't seem like I could ever find what I was suppose to do beyond the first encounter. Only ran into one other monster and otherwise I was just walking through scenes. For 12 hours of work, I'd say it is a solid entry though.
I'd echo @shunaky comments, I've used RPGMaker when I first started and you can really get into some powerful scripting. You'll still be bound to some of the engine's pit falls but it is a great place to start. The hard part is getting away from the fact that everyone knows it was RPGMaker :)
As other have stated, the art is fantastic in this game. It was enjoyable, good work
Sorry, as others have stated I can't get the game to load either.
Ha, I like it! It's funny because this was very similar to my original idea so glad I went another route :) Not really much I can say about it, it was entertaining for a few seconds which is exactly what these games should be. The animations and controls were satisfying.
I suppose the only criticism I could offer, and it is nitpicking, is I didn't understand the betting at first. It took me a few seconds to figure out I couldn't bet more than $100 the first round because that was all I had. Not sure I could say how to make it better and it really doesn't need to be probably, I'm just dumb.
Wow, very nice game. Perhaps some more balancing on the vampires. Controls nicely and easy to understand. Could really of benefited from some sound effects and ambient music of some sort but otherwise I didn't have any real complaints. Nicely done!
Not bad. Looks great. Controlled okay, but game seemed to freeze on death (or maybe just that it isn't intended to do anything after you die?).
EDIT: Tested out the post version as well just to see if lockup would go away but you get a NullPointer when you die sometimes otherwise still stalls out but I noticed the speaker in the bottom left was still functional so the game is technically still running so I guess just no way to restart. I'd highly suggest adding that.
@tolmera - Thanks! Yes the brown ones are bad they're the "poo" :) I may update the title screen to indicate you can pass through the wall to the other side of the screen.
@apbakeware - Thanks! Color blindness was my main concern with play ability, I thought about adding a letter to the middle of the squares to help differentiate them but ultimately it was causing my some positioning issues so I abandoned it. I think I could set it up with an icon mode, might do that in the future then the player would could use their preference.
@nestral - thats a good score! Good suggestions too, thanks. I hadn't experienced any lag even when simulating food and poo overload, any chance you can provide pc specs and browser you used?
@beavergames - Yeah, 100% coded from scratch aside from a copy paste of the audio object form w3c, didn't figure there was a need to write something that was going to be identical to what I wrote.
@minibobbo - thanks for the feedback! I'm thinking of making poo happen randomly when above something like 25% or maybe after using too much %. I wanted to do levels where maybe after a certain score you could progress to a new room with obstacles or other monsters.
@douwe-ravers - I've had mixed reaction with family and friends, most find it too difficult but some find it overly simple. Definitely needs some more balancing.
@milk - Thanks so much!
@pincushion - Yeah, some balance is needed. It was intended to be a strategy but too easy to abuse.
@barrier - Heard that from one other in the comments. Any chance you can provide the browser you used and some high level PC specs? I haven't been able to replicate but both my machines are gaming rigs.
@burnedkirby - Thanks!
@judgezedd - Thanks, exactly what I was going for and it was a good place to try out a new technology (new to me anyway).
@cogcomp - Lol, thanks. My brother said something similar and apparently wasted too much time on it
@unicornfrog - thanks!
@vleue - Thanks! Yeah, I need to visualize the Belly better. Either color change, size change, or something. Originally it was very much more snake like, but I wanted to get away from that and I had a funny bug where the snake tail would drop off and thus poo was born
@island-jam-2-group-3 - Thanks, yeah scrapped a New Game (as well as score board) due to time constraints but I do plan a post compo version with some improvements at some point.
@leofiremage - Thanks! I didn't use a game engine, I wrote everything custom in JavaScript but I do have collision detection and could certainly add that type of thing.
@unimaginable-code-studios - Thanks!
@flaterectomy - solid feedback, thanks!
@ramble-house-games - Glad you liked it!
@toby1645 - Thanks, great feedback. My post version is going to generate food guaranteed in movement distance. And more like 10 hours of work too, so that's why I didn't get to things like making sure you'd have food in range.
@doc-moustache - Thanks for the feedback. Definitely some balance work needed.
@flying-dog-fish - thanks, I'm trying to fix the sluggish controls, haven't pinned it down yet
@noxymu5 - thanks, good feedback. I think I have most of the lag fixed in the post jam version, it looks to be related to sound mostly. And yes, I need to get it to move in pixel increments relative to the player size and spawn food/poo accordingly. I haven't noticed the collision issue, but will check into it, could be a visual issue with ticks to draw version movement.
@healthire - Thanks! I have a new version in the works but it is nearly a complete re-write but it should take care of most of the slow down. Apparently the Canvas object doesn't take kindly to having the entire thing redrawn over and over. So I'm working on a layered canvas approach that I think will take care of the issue. The food has been balanced a bit more too.
@tim-eriksen - Thank you! I enjoyed making it, I had some experience with Canvas through building charts but first time trying to use it for a game.
@notime4games - Thank you as well! Pretty sure I figured out the lag issue I just gotta take time to rewrite it :) As for the restarting of the game, I have that in the post jam version but didn't get it into the original unfortunately. Not sure on the collision issue, I haven't experienced it. My guess is I have something messed up in the collision function maybe a float is getting parse as int and rounding off the position. I'll look into it.
Wow, fantastic entry! I may have to come back and try to beat it when I have some time :)
Have to agree, very much like lemmings and that is a very good thing! Great sound too. Well executed.
Good use of theme, maybe some sort of score system or stop watch would have made it more interesting but still not bad. Nice job
Ew FPS games are not my thing but I gave it a quick go and it seems like it is working well and was easy understand. So long as I was standing still the game looked really good. But moving around made me ill, that isn't your fault just a fact of my life :) Thanks for rating my game as well.
Not bad, the video walk-through helped but that might be a good thing to work on in the future to avoid having to make a video. Good visuals and sound, I liked it
Overall I liked it but think it is a bit hard to understand. Mostly I just kept clicking until I got the pattern to work. I like the sound/music personally. With a bit more work I think you'd have something pretty fun and maybe a good learning tool (I have no idea if it was scientifically sound).
Very cool game, very much felt the vibe of Binding of Isaac. Controls were really nice and graphics good. On the mini card game, was there any way to hold and draw certain cards or was it just playing the hand you were dealt? Either way, it was a nice touch for progression. I enjoyed it!
Nice concept and use of the theme, sadly I wasn't very good at it :) Would be nice to have some indicator that the right mouse button is the way to create the exit. Also, keep in mind that Mac users often don't have a right click option and might not be able to play, I've made that mistake several times. Maybe add keyboard options to open portals based on mouse position. Overall though I liked it!
OMG this was such a fun game! I played way longer than I should have several times. Took me a while to figure out that I could collect poo faster using the scoop. It might be nice if the hit box on the poo was a bit bigger especially as the number of bunnies increased it made it difficult to click on and I had to completely rely on the scoop. I plan to come back to play this one again :)
Wow I sucked at that but a very clever game and great use of the theme.
Like the opening scene and sound effects a lot.
I love the art style, it worked really well for this. Fun game for a minute or two. Nice entry
FPS is not my thing but I gave it a very quick look. Movement seemed a bit off but was functional. Not a bad entry
Wow, that's an incredible amount of work for a jam. Art is fantastic and so is the game. Well done!
Wonderful art. Took me too long to figure out that space bar was the command to accept selection on the menu but other than that no complaints
I really liked this, I wish it had been longer :)
Simple but cool. Took me a couple tries to figure it out but I finally got it. Nice job
That was a lot more intense than I expected it to be from the screen prints. Simple mechanic done really well. Nice job!
I couldn't exactly figure out what I was doing. I played through twice and get stuck once in the office. When talking to the computer it would pop up a display of code or something and then never go away. I'm sure I just did something wrong. Graphics looked good. Agree with others that transition should be skippable or faster
Well you don't get much better at use of theme :) I honestly had no idea what was going on when I first loaded it and ultimately I still didn't. I clicked through who knows how many times. Some how though I didn't hate it
Liked the audio. The movement and art was very retro which I liked.
Interesting little game. I never could get past making the shovel but I'm sure I just didn't do something right. Controls were good though seemed like a bit of lag between input and action. Good job!
I couldn't figure out the puzzle myself but in controlled fairly well and the game looked good. The mini mapped seemed like it might be messed up compared to how you move on the screen but I don't think that held me back much.
I'll preface this with I really liked it. But I couldn't play for very long, something about the camera movement and/or shake of the camera was making me ill. That said, game was easy to understand and controlled well. Nice job
Nice entry! I think I would have preferred if I could have held the move buttons down to keep moving but otherwise nice job
I liked it but controls were really difficult to get used to. Took nearly 900mb of ram to load that sucker up in Chrome :) Nice job though, was fun hitting ramps reminded me a bit of crazy taxi on dreamcast in some little way.
That's pretty good for one day of work. Got stuck a couple times too but otherwise seemed to work fairly well.
Nice maze game. Controlled pretty well.
Good concept, I died a lot :) Overall it seemed good but I have trouble playing all FPS games but I don't let that affect my scoring.
Agree with @theaidency, it seems like there is something there but it is unintuitive and ultimately I could never reach the diamond. I like the concept and thing something like this would be a good educational style game for kids even. Having a tutorial was really great but I think it could have explained what to do better. Tag me in a comment if you make any updates, I'd love to give it another try
Hey that's pretty fun!
Game not working on Latest Chrome or Edge on Win10. Tag me if you get it fixed and I'll give it another go
Uncaught SyntaxError: Invalid or unexpected token WebGLLudumDare47FinalConformed.loader.js:1 Uncaught ReferenceError: unityFramework is not defined at HTMLScriptElement.n.onload (WebGLLudumDare47FinalConformed.loader.js:1)
Unfortunately FPS games make me ill so I didn't spend a lot of time on this. However I didn't let that impact the score :) Graphics were very nice and while I couldn't figure out how to get through the maze I'm sure with more time it would have been possible. Controls handled decently well.
I couldn't exactly figure out what I was doing. Once I finally figured out the email/password situation I managed to get into the game but once I was in I couldn't seem to do anything but move between the top and bottom room? I like the look though.
Lol, love it! Opening voice over was really good, graphics and controls excellent. Deceptive in difficulty after a few seconds. Nice job!
You're 11 years old? I'm pretty impressed with what you've done, very nice job!
Only real criticism was that many of the apples seemed nearly impossible to grab without hitting spikes. Maybe play around with their placement, otherwise good execution and I liked it
Not a bad entry, controls were a bit weird and I got stuck a lot. Was there a way to reset the game without reopening it? Definitely need to have at least one image of your game in my opinion someplace. I think players are put off by not seeing what they are going to be getting into so a picture will probably get you more play throughs.
Neat game. Controls were hard to understand at first so I'm really glad there was a tutorial. Transitions were good. Controls were a bit difficult for me but like I said, tutorial made it easier. Overall pretty well thought out game for a jam
Changing the radio was a nice touch. A good use of theme and controls were pretty good
Lol, that was a great! Art is well done but the animations were even better. I really liked this entry!
Art was really good, so was sound. Jumping only seemed to work correctly when moving to the right. Moving to the left and jumping only worked half the time. Unfortunately I couldn't ever make it past the first bit of water you find.
Interesting game. I love the transition effect between rooms. Sadly I couldn't figure out what to do after the room where you tried to wake up your Dad. Overall though, good mechanics, I liked it!
Outstanding! The art is wonderful and the game play smooth and pretty understandable after one play through. You might need to wash your mouth out with soap after though! Lol
Great use of the theme! Was fun to play and easy to understand.
My god this was WAY more fun than a Ludum Dare game probably should be. I'm bookmarking and playing more later :clap_tone1:
Da da da, Sound effect are wonderful!
Very addicting, I'd love to see this expanded on for a full release. If I was to offer one piece of criticism it'd be that I think if you could aim with the mouse it might be a bit more fun though less challenging for sure. I died a lot by just stopping to aim, but I also realize that is sort of the point so maybe better the way it is.
Fantastic entry. I sent a link to my brother who doesn't participate but he highly enjoyed the game as well. Nicely done sir!
EDIT: I kept playing... I realized after closing the browser that my progress was saved which is really cool but perhaps a way to start over would be a nice addition
Some good things going on here like procedural generation of the map. Controls were extremely tough for me to use but after a while I figured it out enough to put out some fires. I'm not 100% what the bonuses were doing for me if I'm being honest. Not a bad entry, I like the overall look and I think if I could have moved using the mouse in a point and click style I probably would have enjoyed it a bit more.
Took me a couple play throughs to get past the first few seconds of the game but once I did I really enjoyed this. I found myself laughing a decent amount at the sound effects (which were my favorite type of sound effects). I think if movement speed was offered as a skill level up immediately it would be a little be better (maybe it is completely random and I just got unlucky).
Is there any way to aim other than it just shooting at the closest enemy? I wasn't sure, sometimes it seemed like there way and other times it didn't. In any case, I've rated this one the highest of the few I've played thus far. Good luck!
Hey this is really pretty cool! With enough time I think somebody could really develop some strategy here and go a long way, sadly that wasn't me but it was fun all the same. Might of been nice if you could flip pieces or maybe throw away a piece from the board.
@william-corrin Thanks! I'm trying to think of some ideas for giving user more control but I keep ending up with something that is too Minesweeper like.
@p0l4r Thanks for the feedback. I'll see about moving the button if I do a post-compo version. Definitely want to give the player some more control as well, if you have any ideas, please let me know
@asmadigames & @black-flag - Thanks for the feedback!
@snory - Thanks for the feedback. The no neighbors help as does the auto clearing of a couple adjacent tiles that are within 2 points of the clicked one, but it doesn't help as much as I would have liked. I'm still trying to think of some additional ways to improve it
@anna-karpova Not bad at all!
@sdelay - Kind of agree especially for the Jam itself since I took the theme to basically mean you'll lose/win quickly. But as a post compo/release it probably is too random. I'm working on a new ability that will highlight all the Odd or Even (random) tiles which are not 0 but one of which is 24. It might have a timer on it so that it is only visible for a few seconds encouraging user to open more tiles on their own before using it.
Still some balance to workout, if anyone has suggestions do let me know!
@wetburritosupreme - Thanks for the feedback, that's a game feature. If you click on a tile and the adjacent tiles are within 2 points of the tile clicked, it will open the adjacent tile and score it.
@augustcoder - Thanks for the feedback and agreed. I have few things in the works. As for 22 not opening 24, that's intentional. 24 can only be opened by the player. The 0 tile cannot open it either. And thanks, that should get me to 20 votes :v:
@glayson - Thanks for the feedback, good to hear from a fellow webdev on it. Agree on all points. Sound will come later and I plan to redo the help file so it is more concise
@dirkinz - Thanks! I have a power up in the works that deals with revealing even/odd tiles that I think will help. I like your idea of a total at the end of row, afraid that might give away too much but I might check into that and see. Maybe it'd be a power/bonus that reveals a row/column's total at random or by user selection.
@jupiter-hadley - Thanks for taking a look. As you pointed out, it is indeed very random at the moment as I didn't have time to get more logic built in. Changes are in development though!
Thanks everyone for the feedback, sorry if I haven't replied to everyone. @yusovv @smdg @cogcomp
@stasm I like it and have been working on something similar. Thanks for the suggestion!
@gullyngames & @hmightypirate - Thank you both, completely agree. I've made some changes on my end that will help (maybe made it too easy now actually). I'm also making it so it auto opens the 1 tile and I've set it up so that 0 and 1 cannot be adjacent to 24. Gives you some good info with just that.
@games-by-tom Thanks, glad you liked it!
I heard "Ow My Leg" a lot but I eventually got the hang of it mostly. Never made it to the end but it was much fun. Nice entry!
Nice first entry. Some good things going on here but it was rather difficult to control (for me anyway). It is an very cool idea though and the art is exceptional. Nice job
I love typing games and almost did one myself. Good mechanic that I wasn't expecting when I first loaded it. Love how you did the tutorial and forced it. Dashes kept tripping me up but I played a good long while. Perhaps some more word variety would be good. Overall nice job
Nice little shooter. Deceptively simple and very enjoyable. Was a bit difficult to read the title screen, took me bit to see that I needed to hit space bar to start the game. Nice job
Pretty impressive actually. Few bugs as others pointed out but I may have a bit of bias toward likely the game since City Simulators are sort of my favorite games. Overall rather good job!
Nice entry. Controls were a bit tough to setup a good aim at the aliens but other than that I really enjoyed it. Good use of dialog, hopefully if aliens ever attack it isn't up to one apache helicopter though
Rather enjoyed this game, might be nice if there was some sort of bonus/power that allowed you to destroy a pig or shove it out of the way. I played through about 8 times I think, 5 letters was the most I could ever combine but I could just not be that great of a speller. Nice entry!
First off, the game looks amazing! It took me entirely too long to figure out how to play though but once I did it was really quite enjoyable. Nice job
Not bad for a first timer! Loved the effect the dog had on the snowman
I understood the premise I think but I couldn't ever get to where ever I was probably suppose to go. Maybe melt factor is too high or maybe there is something I'm missing that could be better described.
Nice sound work and overall visuals.
Nice entry, as a few others have said a tutorial would go a long way. Overall though pretty good concept
I really stink at the game but I think it is working as intended. The Death mechanic is pretty good but I couldn't figure out what the goal was outside of repeating deaths "Simon Says" game. Appears to be a good use of the theme and it looks really good too.
Hey that's pretty good. Deceptively simple at first. I thought "I'll get to 20, no problem", yeah about that. I couldn't get past 18. Not sure I could say much to improve it, maybe not take as long to get to the difficult speed/bounces? Perhaps some other levels would be good. Nicely done
A bit easy but honestly that is best for entries IMO, ensures a good play through. Best of all it had a fun factor. Art was good. I did have one crash right after the game started but it seemed fine at that. Nice job
First off, this game is graphically beautiful! Good concepts but maybe a small tutorial might of been good to tell me what I was suppose to do exactly. I punched the big orange spores but was sure what to do beyond avoiding the darkness.
Still, a nice entry.
So I really, and I mean REALLY, sucked at this
That aside, you have good mechanics here. It looks good and sounds good. I'm sure with enough practice I'd be able to score some actual points but I stink at this sort of game.
Nice entry
I think it was a bit easy but it looked really good and overall plays pretty well. There are few spots where you can just park your Mosquito and never move and survive.
Overall though it isn't a bad entry and good use of theme. Maybe some sort of difficulty slider or something would have been good.
Nice entry! Something about the camera gave me motion sickness which isn't your fault, it happens to me with FPS games too but it did prevent me from giving it a full playthrough. What I did pay seemed to work well. Controls were generally easy to get down and figure out where to go was easy enough. Looked and sounded really good too.
Nice entry! Looks great and seemed like it had a good progression too. Nice job
Nice little game! A little hard to steer the zombie but he is a zombie and probably doesn't follow commands well :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Might of been helpful if there were some arrows or something that would indicate where humans were located, I found myself mostly not finding any. Still, it has a fun factor, looks good, and sounds like zombies.
Thanks for playing my game, I like what you were going for here. It took me a couple tries to get the mechanic down but it worked pretty good. Nicely done.
Nice little game. Perhaps a bit easy? I think some sort of in game "what this button does" feature would be good on hover. Good job though!
Nice take on the theme fore sure.
Pretty difficult for me, i only made it past the first jump once out of 25 times. That said, it seems like a pretty good game and I'm sure if I kept at it I'd get further along. The sprite explosions were wonderfully done. Nice entry
Audio was a bit loud at times but otherwise a pretty clean entry. An interesting take on a tower defense, I liked it.
I'm a sucker for old school Atari style games and this reminded me a ton of Astrosmash. Pretty fun actually. Love how you decided to implement the scores and user data into a functional background. I laughed pretty hard when I lost, for the briefest of a moment I thought my computer crashed! Nicely done!
It's a nice looking game, pretty laid back. It took me a really long time to figure out what I as actually doing but otherwise not bad.
Very nice! I had fun with this (played solo). 820 was max score I could get to. Seems like a decent amount of thought went into this and it shows in the game play. Great entry
Wonderful! It gets really chaotic really quick but was still pretty fun. Nice entry!
There was a point in my life where I played a ton of games like this and it really took me back a bit. Not a bad little game at all, nice job.
This is pretty good. Visually wonderful. Easy to understand but a bit slow paced. The only thing I'm not sure about is what happens once all escape pods have been launched? It just seemed to keep sending ships.
I managed to save 30 pods. Nice entry. Was a bit difficult to aim perhaps but overall I enjoyed it
Well I completely sucked at that game but it was a blast all the same. I got a grand score of 11. Nice entry!
This is pretty great, took me a couple tries to get it as I kept skipping the tutorial text (oops). Looks and sounds really good. Dash mechanic is nice. Good job
Solid entry. Easy to understand. Well done!
I'll have to come back when ratings open up, this was really good! I did have a couple instances where my character got stuck in the road just to the right of the left ramp.
Adding rating! Very fun!
Not a bad entry. I get motion sick so this didn't work well for me but I didn't count off for that in my voting. Nice entry.
Game loaded fine for me except when first playing it there is just a black screen with a "Skip" in the upper right corner. Clicking that gets the game going but not sure if I'm supposed to be seeing something more there.
Game is simple but yet a bit difficult. I found it pretty funny and a great use of the theme but seems like maybe it needs a bit more work telling the player how to play (unless that is what I'm missing on the first screen). I laughed pretty good a few times.
This is the first time I've been able to effectively test a table top submission. I love that you have some simple to follow instructions and just a standard deck of cards. I really think my grandfather might of enjoyed this game (he was a pretty avid solitaire player).
You should look into getting the game printed up with a specialized deck or something, I could see people buying it. I didn't win any of the games but I think it is mechanically sound and I probably would win if I kept playing (and I might)
Nice job!
Simple but good. I liked the balance between using the laser and melee. Laser safer but less effective, melee less safe but stronger. Overall pretty good. I got to a score of 11, so I sucked but it was fun anyway
Mechanically sound, seems like it really needs some more levels but it works and has good sound.
Hey that was really clever! I really enjoyed it, very easy to understand and the intro was really nice.
Fantastic idea and pretty well implemented. I had a few instance where it would zip me back to a spot where I automatically fell off the platform, intended? Otherwise worked well and was enjoyable. Nice job!
I keep getting a memory exception (web version) but I managed to play for a bit. Graphics are wonderful. The error I think I narrowed down to when a knight is on what I'm calling A2 (far left, second row from bottom). When I try to move him off that tile I get an exception.
I can't seem to do good enough to hire another knight but outside of the error and what I'm sure is my poor ability to play, it is pretty nice entry
Nice entry. Pretty easy to understand. Good job
Very nice job, very simple mechanic that allows you to get the full experience really quickly. Very hard the longer you go! Some sound would have really been nice but otherwise no complaints.
@augustcoder - How do you move? I'm using the HTML5 version. I can shoot without an issue but no keys seem to move the player
@augustcoder - I tried Edge and it worked this time. Chrome is working now too so must of been an itch.io glitch. Updated my rating. It is a nice entry especially for a first time jammer. Nice job!
I love this! A very different take on pacman style games. Nice job!
I took a similar route with a word game. Being an avid player of Wordle I thought this was a nice take on the game though I completely sucked at this. I'm really glad you provide a first good guess, I think it would have been impossible without that. Nice job!
Nice entry, I like the art style. Collision seemed to get me a bit stuck sometimes but was usually able to get out of it. Good job
@dhim - Thanks! It is randomly seeded with your local date. In total, there are 468 words it can choose from. It is a word list I've had on my pc for a while for another project, I cleaned out some NSFW words and trimmed it down to words with a length between 3 and 10 characters. The anagrams are a bit of an issue that I didn't want to try and solve for the jam.
@dollcoded - Thanks, glad you liked it!
@anxiousgamedev - Great feedback and something I'll consider for future updates. I kind of agree that 10 seconds isn't enough time, I think in a release I'd probably do at least double that or maybe a timed mode that is Easy/Medium/Hard where the only real difference is time limit. The last word today is really difficult for 10 seconds :joy:
@xpycm - I hadn't considered that a player might not know that but it is probably true. I had my mom play test it and usually if she doesn't ask questions then I'm good  I'll add it to the description above and add it to the instructions on the game after the jam ends. Thanks for playing!
@foggydude - Thanks, that is some high praise
@thebmxeur - I worried about non-native english speakers. Given a different theme, 10 second limit wouldn't have even crossed my mind. You do gain 2 seconds if you guess wrong but have at least one number correct. Implementing something like @anxiousgamedev idea would probably help that situation as well.
@smooches & @nullval - Thanks! I'm already planning out a full blown game and see if I can't make me $5.00 a year off some google ads
@somecodingguy - Thank you
@arkinrev - I ended up liking the timer as well but 10 seconds is way too short
@soshjam - It shouldn't completely reset the timer though it could look like that if you are making your guesses within the first 2-3 seconds. Basically a wrong answer with a letter in the correct position results in +2 seconds to the timer.
@snesgaard & @actuallythemoon - Thanks! I tried to make it as intuitive as possible. You can drag & drop too and I added Tap clicking the letters near the end so would work for mobile devices too (though a bit more work on resizing needs to happen for mobile I think).
@lazzor - Appreciate the comments!
@ofiro @harrison-gowland @eugenik - Thank you!
@jeppetp - Completely agree and thanks for the feedback! I think at least 15 seconds maybe 20 or 30 event. I have a semi-functional version where it will accept any anagram that exists in the dictionary. On a large library it is a bit slower than I'd like. Thinking of maybe reducing points if you get the anagram but not the real word or possibly have it as a "hard mode" type option.
@flauschzelle - Wow, great feedback thank you! You can also type the letters if you prefer. More to come for sure, I want to add some additional modes where you can play forever for instance.
@thesnide - That was sort of intentional, the idea to be like Wordle in the end where you can only play once a day (in that mode). Eventually I'll setup localSettings to pseudo prevent replay in Daily mode. But still good feedback, I keep thinking I should have a Easy/Normal/Hard mode and maybe Easy would be the only one to show you the word.
@finntastico - Thanks for the feedback! Instruction text is always something I struggle with, am I giving too much/not enough/etc... Probably some simple instructions with a "view help" option or something for those that need more. Definitely a mode without being timed is planned and saving scores to local storage or something of that nature, just stuff I didn't want to deal with for the jam :)
@nickpick - Agreed, I have a fix for anagrams in what will eventually be a release version.
@barret - Thanks! I'm hoping others feel the same after I get a release out there
@furano - Excellent feedback, thank you. I'm interested in doing some sort of localization for it in a future release.
@otterfaelure & @jonrei - Regarding the anagram issue, yeah it wasn't an issue I wanted to tackle during the jam but I am working a new version of the game that already handles this.
@otterfaelure - Excellent feedback on the word immediately being entered. I initially forced you to hit "Enter" but that ended up meaning I needed a "Submit" or some such on screen button for those playing without a keyboard so I abandoned it for the jam. I'll keep it in mind for the release version.
@dxk2294 - Glad to hear it, thanks for playing!
@melektaus - Thanks for playing! Definitely need to look at some localization in the future.
@projectcolorball @anchry - Thanks for playing!
@tao-yuanyue - Thanks for the feedback!
@asfdfdfd @chocolat-endive - Thanks for playing!
@amarokczukay - Yeah a common comment that being only English hurts game play for non-native English speakers. Definitely something I want to look at in the future. Thanks for playing!
@der-finski - In the past I used Unity for these almost exclusively but that last couple I've used just raw HTML/JS to do it all. My job as a full stack dev has come in handy since JS is fresh on the mind. Not sure I could do anything for dyslexics, but if you have any suggestions please let me know. Thanks for playing!
@vykri - Great feedback and good to see it played, and I'm glad you are harsh. I agreed nearly completely and there is a lot of polish needed for certain. I had in my head that I wanted to do a word game long before the theme was announced and wanted to keep it simple since I only had about 8 hours I could dedicate to the jam.
Hitting some specifics from your video:
The production release will take any valid word in the game's dictionary, I planned it for the jam too but it was causing odd lag, so I cut it. I have it working locally just fine now. The dictionary for the jam was a bit small too (~500 words). It picks the words using the current date as a seed.
Time limit will move to a Hard Mode, I shoehorned it in to fit the theme. I was thinking about removing it entirely but comments suggest they really like it and so do some play testers. But I think 10 seconds is to little in any case.
Score absolutely is weird, probably dropping completely and just give the number of guess for each word, the lower the guesses for the daily round the better you did. For context though, the 1455 score you received would be 100 x 10 = 1000 points for get all words in one guess, plus 5 bonus points for each second left on the clock for each word. So it took you about 9 seconds to guess all 10 words netting you 5 x 91 = 455 + 1000 = 1455. Like you said, doesn't feel right or even needed.
Rules are a mess, written out at end of compo and meant to be part of a "Help" screen rather than the title screen.
It actually works even better for mobile play in terms of placing letters. You don't have to drag, you can just tap the letters to place/remove them. Generally faster than typing even. But the resizing is a bit funky and need play with that some more.
Again, thank you for the detailed and honest feedback! It is immensely helpful. It isn't something I see getting as popular as Wordle by any means though the traffic on my site has been through the roof, that particular page having >2300 views versus the ~50 ratings I've received and there are 412 unique visitors. So somebody is coming back for seconds (or 5ths in this case).
@chansmith - Excellent thoughts, I will certainly consider those suggestions.
Nice entry!
Fantastic idea that worked really well. The first time through I didn't know if the reply to the text had any impact but the second time I noticed the little tutorial you had on the start screen. Might be something you could call out a bit more but otherwise this was great!
Conceptually I like the idea but I just couldn't really figure it out and I had to jump through some hoops to get it past AVG. That's not to say that you did a bad job or anything, I just couldn't win.
Very creative! I thought it would be really difficult but it got easier with each attempt exactly as it should have. Challenging and yet easy to understand. Well done!
Nice entry. Pretty straightforward but unique idea.
This was fantastic! Took me forever to figure out the Meatball round so the practice options were a great addition. Very nice job all around!
This was a very interesting idea. I think it was executed pretty well but I couldn't ever really do any good :) A fine entry
Controls were a bit sensitive and I got stuck a few times but a nice entry otherwise
Nice entry! Audio worked fine for me on Windows. Very fun and easy to understand. I like the simplistic art style. I think this would be a good one to keep working on and see where you can take it.
I love this mechanic! Took me a few rounds to get the hang of it but it was really fun. A pretty unique game, nice job!
Wow, I was fired a lot! Good use of theme, easy to understand mechanics, and the game looked good too. Nice job!
Fantastic game, reminds me of Nova Drift a bit which I love. Well thought out and easy to understand mechanic. Nice job!
Nice entry! Took me a bit to figure it out but once I did it was a nice challenge
I really enjoyed this. Pretty intuitive which is always good. I liked that you took time to add board resizing options and an easy mode. Nice entry!
The platformer itself is pretty good, tag me if you ever get a post jam version up as I'd let to try it. Nice attempt though!
I love this! Arrow sometimes seemed to go off in a completely different direction than where I aimed a couple time. Usually when it was due left it would fly more top-left. Otherwise no complaints, very fun
Holy crap Batman, that makes a lot of difference!
Controls are certainly finicky but otherwise I think the game and it was easy to understand. In game instructions are always nice. Nice entry!
I really like the fluid motion of the stickman, something I've struggled with making look correct in the past. Game was really good, I wasn't expecting the gravity flip. One possible but, I get a memory out of bounds exception when trying to record a high score. Using Chrome. Otherwise worked well and enjoyed it!
It looks wonderfully done but I had a difficult time figuring out what I was suppose to be doing. Once I did I found it to be entertaining. Nice entry and I like the idea of using AI for art assets, personally I think you could allow voting for that but maybe the rules say differently?
Nice entry! The tutorial was well done and the game felt fluid. I really like endless games like this.
Saw you post on the front screen about needing votes, in case you don't know, you will get more votes if you rate and comment on other games. It causes your game to get more visibility in the list.
Very cool game! I liked the audio work up blog you posted too, nice I idea. I'm not sure I have anything to offer other than I wasn't sure what to do about the coins until after the enemies were gone and then it was obvious but prior to that I was trying to figure out if I needed to shot them or what.
Once I figured out what I was doing this was rather enjoyable! Nice entry
For a first time entry I'm going to say Nice Job! If I'm being completely honest, I nearly tossed up my lunch due to the camera motion (that's a me issue, not a you issue). Mechanically you have a game and it fits the theme nicely.
Took me a while to get the hang of it but otherwise a solid entry. Nice job
I liked it! I loved the visual style and it controlled well.
Really this is great all around outside I'm not sure there was a point to catching items other than just a calm fishing experience? Controlled really well though I imagine Mac users and others with one button input devices had a difficult time playing (lesson learned from my own projects), I'd suggest a key bind maybe.
In general, a very relaxing game that I like!
Nice entry, it isn't for me strictly because of motion sickness but otherwise it was implemented well.
I've played this several times and I haven't exactly figured out what I'm suppose to do, feels like a need a tutorial. That said, the art and sound were very well done. I just couldn't figure out what I was suppose to do after placing down tress/mines?
Nice shooter, might need a bit of polish but overall fun to play. Nice job
Okay my score really sucked but I really liked this idea. I wasn't expecting it to jump into the FPS mode but since it was short I didn't mind it. Nice job
This was different, it took a while to get the movement down, I think just using WASD would have been better and no spacebar. But once I got that down it was pretty easy to understand. I did have a few levels that spawned with no apparently way to get to the icon on the screen, I could have just been missing something though. Nice entry!
Nice entry! Controlled well and was fun.
Very nice for 4 hours! It was a bit difficult at times but definitely had a fun factor. Nice entry!!
Wonderful looking style and I love the were-burger premise  Feel like a lot of effort went into this and it paid off. Nice job!
After seeing everyone else's score I'm not posting any of mine  Wonderful game, enjoyed it much.
Nice game and idea. Was there a way to tell when the gun would reload? If not, I would add a visual for that. A volume slider for sound would be a good addition too, even at the lowest setting of my speakers it was pretty loud. Overall a good entry!
This is a cool idea but it took me awhile to figure out what I was doing. Difficulty might be a bit high and while 10 seconds seems like it should be really short, it actually seems like a long time here. I'm not sure what I'd suggest doing differently here, maybe a way to speed the timer up or trigger it manually? Overall though, nice job!
This was pretty unique, I enjoyed it. I kind of think you could have left out the attacks and just implemented the 10 second theme with something happening to stocks like a crash or a extreme high. Not that the attacks didn't make it interesting. Nice job
Great entry! Easy to understand and felt great. Nice job
I guess we can't rate "extra" games, but it was really pretty well done. I enjoyed it.
First, excellent job on the tutorial. I see you already answered that it was your daughter, great idea to use her for the voice over it was unique and kept me going through the tutorial when I'd usually just skip through one. I think if you could control the item your were giving to the cats using the keyboard it would make the game much more user friendly. Mousing over to select the item and then back wasn't difficult but also wasn't my favorite thing to do. Overall a nice entry!
Took me a few tries but I finally got a KO! Well done!
Quite enjoyable! Nice take on a classic. I could see playing this on a mobile device in spare time using finger to drag ship around. Nice entry!
At first I wasn't sure but the more I played it the more I liked it. I love the blathering the narrator does that the beginning. Unique controls and overall just a nice entry.
I normally skip over tabletop entries just because they're too much setup work, but this was very easy to setup so I gave it a go. Once you get the hang of it, it is nice distraction and pretty creative. Video was helpful, if you make another video I'd suggest adding some text captions saying exactly what is happening.
I feel like I could really like this game but I got a bit motion sick (not your fault). The changing track was certainly an interesting way to use the theme.
This was actually pretty sweet. I really enjoyed the simple nature of it. Nice job!
Nice entry! Initially when I saw the controls were just moving the mouse around the screen that it'd be too easy to avoid stuff but it was actually a good challenge! Nice job
Nice entry! Other than I sucked at it, it seemed well thought out and controlled well. Unless I was playing incorrectly, I understood that I went to the circles and matched opposing colors to defeat the element opposite element but I never saw anything that indicated what energy I currently had. I think the blades changed color but maybe if the corner you just picked up would glow or pulse it would help act as a visual timer.
This was really fun! I played a similar game earlier with drawing tattoos but it used a stencil that you traced (which makes sense for tattoos). Not sure which I like better, I think yours is more challenging. I need to pop open the code on both to see how you handle checking the drawing against what the customer wanted, thought that was pretty cool. Nice entry!
Hmm, can't vote for some reason. But visually this is a very nice game. Simple and with some work would play nicely.
Nice job! This has a lot going for it. I couldn't get very far but once I figured out what I was doing I did manage do make some progress at least. I'd add to your controls description that you build but point/clicking on the turrets. That took me probably 10 tries before I figure it out. Sound and graphics good too
I had a hard time finding any clients after the first one but the game is gorgeous! I think if the client window was able to be open all the time rather than collapsed I would have made more progress. Nice entry overall though
@puree-adventure - It the panel supposed to stay open after clicking it? if so, for me I could move the player until I closed it. Just FYI in case there is a bug.
Oink, I love it :) I couldn't make it very far but I enjoyed the heck out of it. Felt like I needed a checkpoint on every level maybe. Nice job
I... um... okay? This makes me think of something I'd see in an abstract art exhibit. In that sense, it is amazing. But as a game, well I'm not sure what to say. I will say it is the most unique thing I've "played" in any Ludum Dare
Very different, I liked it!
Addicting! There is a lot to like here. I would suggest making the timer more visible or placed differently maybe. As a first game, this was very well done. Nice Job
I couldn't figure it out honestly. It looks good and but "Z" doesn't seem to do anything for me. I can move around but that's about it. "Z" is working for starting the game though.
@jamminn - Looks like it has to do with the embedded version only. The itch.io version worked. Seems spotty on the embedded version. I've updated my ratings :)
Fantastic little game, I love this sort of thing. Looked great but was difficult to learn, I played it multiple times though and got the hang of it. I'll probably come back and play this one again
Pretty good! Simple and straightforward and works. Nice job
So once I figured out what I was doing I really started to have fun! This is a great entry and the only real criticism I can think of is that maybe it could be a bit more intuitive at the start.
siege1.png
Very cool, very rubix cube type puzzle. I manage to complete several patterns. Nice job
Style of the game is fantastic. At first I thought "this is easy" then it became much harder and I had boxes and product everywhere  Nice entry!
Fantastic! I loved this game. Took awhile to get the hang of but once I did I really enjoyed it.
I liked this!
Easy to understand and looked good. Fun mechanic. Nice entry!
Nice job! Simple but works and has some difficulty to it. Easy to understand. More levels would have been great. Also what are the orange discs in the some areas? Thought maybe they were bug traps but they didn't seem to do anything, just aesthetics?
It's funny and well done for the intended purpose! Voice acting was really sold it. Nice job!
A lot of good things going on here and I like these endless runner type of games. The thing that got to me though is I had to play 7 times before I finally figured out the controls. I'd suggest some text below the game or on the title saying it is Arrow keys only and up to jump. If it hadn't been for that I probably would have played longer.
That aside, a really nice game!
Nice job! I only played a short time as I get FPS sickness but what I played seemed good
Nice entry, I love the gameboy rpg feel. I might of went with a different topic but sure.
I feel really bad for this little girl, I made here scream many many times. Very good design, graphics and sound all great. Nice Job
I can't rate right now due to not finishing my entry but if I do manage to finish, you'll be getting some high marks from me. This was a blast :)
