It was alright, but it does certainly fit the theme.
Game is alright. Game concept is not that unique, but its still fun. I think a background track would go nicely with this type of game. The theme is sort of there, but not really as your more running into more enemies rather than running out of space. Sound effects are fair enough, and the particles effects on reflecting enemies is a nice touch to the game's look.
Cool idea... Why don't you consider reducing the outer frame size if you missed something?

The game was a little too big for my screen, but I'm used to that by now. It was a good, simple game that could definitely use some polish with music, better graphics and spawn balancing. I was left wondering what I was protecting and why, but not everyone needs a reason to play.
Had fun playing the game! I agree with other comments about having background music! Fit the theme very well! I got a score of 95!
Hey that's pretty cool. Which is had some sort of music. Some sort of power-ups would have been great. Maybe like temporary increase in size of the shield or something. Otherwise very nice job.
