Great entry! The player movement is a little slick at times however the feel of the game is quite nice. :)

Top notch sound effects :P. Good game overall, I like the graphics. Using zombie parts as an energy source may come in handy some day. You may want to file for a patent on that ZGE machine.
Nice effort. Didn't run on my version of Firefox - Mac 54.0.1(64-bit). But worked fine on Chrome. Loved the graphics the title screen. It would be good to have an indication of if / how many guts you were carrying. The jump felt a bit slow and likewise I could outrun my own bullets. Sound works well. Good job.
The games work well (maybe thanks to the fix), the slope is tricky and there is variety between the levels
I really like the premise of this game, it's pretty unique. XD
Graphics are good. Audio is a bit silly... but it's funny and it fits. I really like it. :D
When I started, I thought that the city would use up the guts I placed into the bins. I was confused about why the power kept going down (the bins were full, so they had lots of zombie guts to use, right?). I did not know that I had to move into the next area once the bins were full.
The control of the main character can be a bit frustrating at times. I find the jumping to be a bit sluggish (I jump up, it takes a while for me to come back down).
If a zombie is on a ledge above me (like the steps in the second area), then I have no way to shoot it unless I get closer to the zombie and risk getting hurt. It might have been better if I could jump and shoot?
In the third area, I filled the bin on the left, then I went to the right side area and there were about four zombies on the ramp downward. I had one heart. I couldn't target them (similar to the situation above), so the only thing I could do was try to jump over them. I did not succeed... my character died.
So I think the level design and/or gameplay need a bit of work. Otherwise, it's a very creative effort, so good job! Thank you for sharing your game. :-)
I loved the sound effects and graphics. Controls felt unresponsive at times though, especially when I wanted to fire the shotgun.
Controls are WSAD and space to fire the shotgun if anyone's wondering.
I don't know if I'm doing it well, but after few restart (dead), it's seems that ZGE don't want to get anything anymore. I was not surrounded by zombies, but I didn't have to wait for very long to find something to shoot on. Sounds is a bit repetitive, but it's a credible zombie sound, even if I didn't ear any zombie in my life. ;) Art is fairly good for a LD, and if it was not so late in my country, I would play again for few more minutes. Well, the game works, it's a little fun, so, good job. :)
Nice little game. The graphics are good. Background music would be nice and jumping feels a little bit slow.
Well done!
An interesting take on the theme. I was a little surprised that you can't shoot while jumping. Overall, a solid submission!
Good job! I liked a lot of the small details that you included: the recoil on the gun, the street lamps, and the lights coming on all come to mind. I agree with the people who recommended being able to shoot while jumping and that I was unsure how many zombie parts I was holding. Some visual indication, or at least more of an audio cue might make that more obvious. I really enjoyed the campy zombie atmosphere that carried through from the graphics and gameplay to the audio. Well done!
Really like the concept, also didn't understand the filling up power units and moving until i saw the comment from @pixel-game-wizard, those green bars are a bit hard to notice. When I went fullscreen the power and health are in the middle of the screen though. Fun enough for a while, but game play could probably use some extra elements to help to keep it interesting.
I like the story of this game, it is really exciting!
Art is grim and make good fit with the mood.
It would be nice if bullets were faster
Great game, only a few comments. Like it has been side by a lot of the comments, the controls can feel unresponsive at times. Something minor, but a few times I had zombies land on my head and chill there safely, which seems to not be intentional. Good Job!
I liked it, however sometimes I couldn't pass through the zombie parts... And if you're standing on the ramp, it is problematic when zombies are coming from the bottom. I liked the sound effect and the graphics. Good one! :)
Great graphics! I liked the "shooting" and "reload" sound effects, but I would have liked a variety of zombie noises. Overall good game with a funny story.
Feels good to play, but sometimes it was frustrating to try to shoot the zombies on hills etc. And when you had two on both sides you were pretty much screwed.
Cool concept and take on the theme, I liked the art and sound (specially the sound effects). Gameplay wise it's great, but I think it would be nice if the player had a couple of seconds of invulnerability when hit by a zombie, because sometimes it's hard to survive the fast and constant attacks of the enemy once it's close to you.
Overall a pretty good game, great job :D
Cool concept and artwork. The game was lagging quite a lot for me in the chrome browser. I think it would've been nice to see a zombie gut bar in the HUD to see how much you've already collected. Also I felt like the shooting could have been snappier. Maybe because of the lag but the bullet was really slow. Otherwise nice concept about using zombie gut as power. Well done.
Loved how casual the plot was :P "It was the only logical solution!" I liked the game overall, specially the sound effects, but as others have said it has some design issues - the fact that you can't shoot while you jump for example, sometimes the zombies would spawn on top of cars and you can't shoot at 'em. Also the game doesn't make it very clear when you have filled the deposits. Good job :)
Very good entry! Really liked the concept, plain and clear. Also liked the details that you added to it such as the light from the Light pole actually changing the player sprites and the shooting knock back.
The only aspects that I think that should be changed are the projectile speed and color (could be brighter and faster). But it is just an opinion regarding a small detail, awesome entry!
Game concept and theme are spot on! I love the idea, especially since your gameplay loop (shoot zombies, get guts, drop them in bin while managing power) adds a ton of strategy to a fairly simple game. I had two problems, though - the game performance was really poor on my laptop - I think a platformer like this should run a little more smoothly. Also, and this can't really be helped in a jam, i could have used more visual and audio cues - a sound effect or something when you pick up guts would be key. All that being said, I loved the concept and the gameplay was surprisingly deep. Nice!
Also, your stream was great! Thanks a ton for playing my game a bit - it is really informative as a dev to get to see people play your game - my only experience was watching myself play, so it's useful to see where I can make improvements.
Sound effects were really good. I like the general idea. Some tips on controls would have been nice. Nice job!
Game feel is great, I love the idea, really fun concept ! Graphics are appropriate for a jam and the level design was interesting, great job !
The idea is interesting, and I like the graphics and SFX of the game. Jumping and shooting, though, does not feel to me hundred percent natural, as the player seems to have very low gravity and recoil seems a little to much for me. Other then that, really good and polished entry!
It's a good game! i liked the art. The player controls still need some improvements, like the jump is at low gravity and when i hold the jump button, sometimes the jumps becomes low. Although that, good job, i had a lot of fun.
Nice work! Good feel and well constructed! Enjoyed it a lot! Thanks!
Those zombies are fast ! I cant believe how they run XD Great entry ! The idea of powering something wih zombies guts remain me perplex af but... anything will work i guess for some times xD
