Once I understood how all the mechanics worked it was a pretty fun experience. The art and sound really bring the game together.

I didn't get all that far but, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with this game.
Really nice difficulty curve that teaches the player everything they'll need for every new level. Fits the theme really well and is surprisingly polished given the time constraints.
The visuals and concept are good almost like a 2D silent hill: shattered memories. I definitely think this is worth expanding on in the future!
The presentation overall is great with my only gripe being the low resolution text. The music is fine but, can get a bit repetitive. Once I figured out how to use the grappling hook accurately it was very fun to swing from wall to wall repairing turrets. With such a fun character to control part of me wanted some kind of combat mechanic but it is in no way a flaw. Good job!
Really interesting take on the theme! Took me back to the days of playing Pokemon Red on the Game Boy and holding my breath whenever I had to save on low battery. I think there should have been more that you can do during the wait period between battery charges to keep the game engaging. Still a fun and creative game!
An interesting take on the theme. I was a little surprised that you can't shoot while jumping. Overall, a solid submission!
Really great use of the theme! From the art to the sound to the mechanics this game does not disappoint! With a little more polish and levels this could definitely be a commercial release!
It was a basic beat 'em up but, just like in the arcades the presentation is what made those games compelling and thankfully this game is presented very well. I was little disappointed that the superhero didn't have any lightning special attacks given his costume design.
Really difficult but an interesting take on the theme. The music cut out after my first game over so that might be something to look into.
While the presentation is simple I was able to identify the function of everything at first glance which is a plus. The restart button didn't work for me but that's a minor bug that can be fixed later. This game is exactly what you'd expect from a tower defense game given the theme.
Really interesting concept! I especially like how many different ways you can solve puzzles with the letter mechanic!
Good use of the theme! I especially liked when the lasers were introduced! However, success requires a lot of trial and error which I'm not a huge fan of.
@theflyingkeyboard Upon death you should automatically respawn after 3 seconds. Maybe, I should have made that more clear.
@jaimuepe The collisions definitely need some fixing! I let the player turn on the lights even if they had zero points because I thought it might be a bit unforgiving if you died without any points. However, from the feedback I've been given the game is so easy and simple it wouldn't be an issue.
(@siegfriedcroes Whoops! It should be there now!
Everything in this game has a high level of polish which is surprising for a 72 hour jam game. My main issue is with the controls and how they could be a lot more intuitive. I don't really see a reason to use (Z) to pick up items instead of just colliding with them. Also, mapping the jump function to the (up arrow) is more comfortable than pressing (X).
I like the visuals they remind me of LocoRoco. Other then that I never really felt like I understood how to play or maybe I'm overthinking it? I held my mouse towards the right and the plant traveled until I lost at level 4.
