Simple and great. "Going down" was a good, one tip: Compiling for android you will get along with it.

rootpew 2017-07-31 14:54

Great entry! Gets a little too difficult after level 2, mind you :)

Good job!

peremily 2017-07-31 14:54

I found it quite difficult but well polished and enjoyable

n4tticus 2017-07-31 14:59

Interesting game, nice job building it in only 20 hours! If you're looking to improve the game in the future I would definitely recommend reducing the difficulty. It is incredibly difficult and unforgiving! Other than that, I liked it and had fun :)

egordorichev 2017-07-31 15:02

Great game! Amazed, how you did that in 20 hours!

2017-07-31 15:03

I'd recommend allowing WASD controls as well, just my 2c. Not bad. Simple but good.

fishergoodwin 2017-07-31 15:04

I love the simplicity here. Charming sound FX and music, the visuals could use some work, but the way they are now makes the game all the more charming. Main problem is the diffiulty curve, level one is neat and gets you into the games mechanics, but level two feels like a level 4 or 5.

filippy 2017-07-31 15:05

I found Lvl 2 MUCH harder than the others, the topmost bit was devilishly hard to find, especially since you can't see it when the level starts. Great submission!, the dash feels a bit jittery maybe, but the game is very fun,

tomdev 2017-07-31 15:07

Cool game, it is impressive that was made in only 20 hours

gnerkus 2017-07-31 15:08

Exploring the final frontier is not easy at all.

What I liked

- The sound effects provided good feedback and kept me company. - The drag. It made it feel like I was actually traveling in the vastness of space.

What could use some improvement

- The game could use some balancing in favour of the player. The second level was difficult for me. - I would have liked a bit more colour but I feel that wouldn't have gone with the mood you intended to set.

Thanks for the game.

behenate 2017-07-31 15:25

Audio was really good and suited your game well. Game is also very polished, but I couldn't complete any level different than the first one :/ Your game fits theme perfectly.

fazz 2017-07-31 15:46

6765 points! Really good little puzzle game, I enjoyed it. Audio and graphics matched up really well.

btwj 2017-07-31 16:00

It was a fun little game, but the difficulty really spikes at level 2. The audio was fine, the graphics are functional, making this game pretty polished. I've learnt that I'm _definitely a loser_ . Good job!

rakowu 2017-07-31 16:28

To be honest i thought it would be a bad game. But it is realy funny. I reminds me of Agario but without beeing eaten and getting smaller instead of grow :D A Realy adictive game. Sorry for my english

xedithdev 2017-07-31 20:02

It was a good game! It was hard to play after the second level. The audio glitched out after about 5 minutes. Overall great game!

maximiliam-berggren 2017-07-31 20:04

Nice game! I have tried and tried and tried... can't get past level 2... But it seems like a fun (rage inducing), well polished game. Good job to you Mr or Mrs or apache helicopter or whatever :D

thesoreon 2017-07-31 20:04

It looks like a simple game, however it is very nice and funny game. Good job!

boxfort 2017-07-31 23:44

Actually pretty challenging! I had a bug where the music would glitch though

pandanym 2017-08-01 03:42

It was very fun ! Nice job !!

dubsol 2017-08-01 05:36

The art is really basic but also very fun somehow, the style works really well! I beat the game and it was pretty enjoyable although a bit simple

xsior 2017-08-01 07:23

The dash felt a bit clunky and music bugged out into one long beep on web player but beside that game was cool. Graphic have nice atmosphere.

kaban 2017-08-01 07:35

Simple, but interesting game. Nice!

pavelsovushkin 2017-08-01 07:43

normal. I want more huge trail on sphere. And spend energy wen I moving

victorcrafty 2017-08-01 07:54

Great gmae!I like mechanics.Good job!

rijnswand 2017-08-01 15:31

Fun game, indeed an accomplishment with so little time to work with.

The dash seemed a bit too expensive for the effect it has. Nice work!

flipsy 2017-08-02 00:22

Nice game. Very similar concept to mine, except a much better implementation I think. The dash felt a little weird but was good once I got used to it. Zoom out at start works well. Finished all five levels. Great job.

piscythe 2017-08-02 00:34

This game was fun. I wish it had lasted longer. I really liked the implementation of the power idea, and the visual indicator of it was very strong. My instincts told me that the dash mechanic was going to lead to a bunch of self-induced trainwrecks, but it turned out to be beautifully intuitive.

toadietechnika 2017-08-02 01:14

I destroyed the universe, with a score of 6720... Really great for an ending haha. The camera should be smooth when you dash, because it's rough at the moment. And there was one instance that the bar below didn't update (it only stayed at 0%). So I looked on the size of myself just in case I would die before getting the last star. I liked the game, still fun as it is.

tayopi 2017-08-02 17:52

I like the simple design, but I was a little bummed when the music stopped playing. It was a really sweet track.

robotsandmuffins 2017-08-02 18:31

Like the music, and the concept! Although is difficult to go over level 2! Also, music stops after a while. Never the less, is a prommissing game. Like so much the simplicity of the concept.

varelsegames 2017-08-02 18:34

Fun little game, the music was great. The dash felt a little weird, but this is a great arcadey kind of game.

kevinworkman 2017-08-03 02:12

The basics worked pretty well, but it didn't really feel like a full game. I could be it being polished into a pretty fun toy though. Side note: you might not want to insult the player! :p

bayano 2017-08-03 10:20

The comment when you lose and the fact that the game doesn't record your progress made it a little frustrating. It's not an easy game, so it requires more than one try, but the frustration disencourages people from actually completing the game.

The art has a nice style, but I missed music that went with it. I didn't like the dash sound effect very much.

The idea of the player walking trough constelations is very good, I liked it a lot.

bocodillo 2017-08-03 17:56

A nice game with basic mechanics that work well. The control of the player (a star?) feels nice. I especially like the dash being a locked distance with a cooldown (although I would've liked to have seen the cooldown). The game has potential which is always cool to see. The music is alright. It feels a little too erratic and ends up being a little grating. The graphics, while simple, give a nice contrast. The idea is good and fits the theme well. Good job for such short dev time!

nbitsstudio 2017-08-04 06:48

Really cool game! I liked the level design, the increase difficulty is smooth. I just think the game should not penalize so much the player resetting all levels again, since the core is find the best way to collect all orbs. But, again, the game is good. Nice entry!

studio-rtv 2017-08-05 05:31

I think that what you have is pretty solid for only 20 hours of work! Nice job :)

Some of the stars in the constellations are a little too spread apart I think, kind of hard to beat a level if I don't necessarily know where the stars all are right away. But once I did it was fun to plan out which order I should capture them so that I wouldn't die before I could get them all!

xykvy 2017-08-05 21:40

Not bad, a bit confusing though. It took me a few minutes to understand what was going on, but for 20 hours of work it's pretty good.

herniewise 2017-08-08 03:02

Difficult as hell but pretty solid for 20 hours of development

sir-daniev 2017-08-08 03:16

An interesting game with simple but fun mechanics and graphics. Pretty good for a 20-hours-only Compo. I had a bug that in a certain point in the game the sound just stopped working tho.

Good Job.

yawoada 2017-08-08 03:29

Really difficult but an interesting take on the theme. The music cut out after my first game over so that might be something to look into.

will-walters 2017-08-08 06:26

An interesting bug I found - at one point I went straight from level 1 to level 3. Which was nice for me because I never managed to beat level two the right way. I like the graphical style and the music was nice, but it did cut out for me.

kubenexion 2017-08-08 11:37

A little bit difficult but it's a good game!

gamepopper 2017-08-08 12:52

Difficult yet clever game concept. Did notice the music stop looping after a while.

bemmu 2017-08-08 13:39

Five stars for innovation.

Traveling salesman problem - the game. I wonder if there is some potential here?

michaeltwg 2017-08-09 17:41

Not a big fan of the gameover sentence and the fact that we always restart at the 1st level. But it's a nice and simple game, well done

logicon211 2017-08-10 23:17

Game was pretty hard until I found out I could dash forever. I became a god once I found out I could do that. Also the music stopped at some point and started spitting out static noise instead. That kind of sucked but otherwise the game was pretty solid

captain-laserstorm 2017-08-11 01:11

Good game! Definitely an example of "easy to learn, hard to master." :D It took me a little while to understand how to move though, since I was used to using WASD and it only let me use the arrow keys. I also would have liked to have respawned on the level that I lost instead of restarting on the first level. But all in all, this was a fun game, so good job! :)

schu 2017-08-11 17:40

Interesting concept. I really like how you get smaller when you're close to running out of power. I felt that the audio was pretty repetitive and obtrusive, especially when the music ended. The graphics were minimal and cohesive, but the UI is pretty ugly.

spetsdod 2017-08-16 23:44

Overall a pretty neat game. I agree with many of the other reviewers here that it was a bit challenging in the later levels since you don't get a chance to study the star layout before the round starts. I don't mind the actual difficulty of navigating around to reach the stars, but maybe if you had it hold at the extent of the constellation for a few seconds at the beginning to give the player a chance to figure out where to go. After level 4, it really ended up being pure luck that I found enough stars to keep going. And losing at that point meant going back through the first four levels again. Maybe restart at each level after you've completed the previous one would be good too.

Simple yet effective graphics, easy to learn yet hard to master controls, audio included, this is a great entry. Thanks for the game.

kerdelos 2017-08-17 12:01

The concept was more efficient than i thought at first sight, which is always a good thing. I find it a bit annoying to have to start from level 1 each time.

And if I were to suggest something for the energy it would be to consume it, not based on time but on the distance you travel. I do agree that it would change a bit the core of the game but right now, the time pressure urges you to move fast when you circle is so slow.

And I forgot to say that the music was great ! Too bad it stopped after a while.

Great job :)

kleinzach 2017-08-19 18:15

Quite simple, but I like how the mechanics work together such that you want to space out your pickups to get as much time as possible. I would highly recommend procedurally generating levels for something like this as it just ends before you get a chance to explore any deeper mechanics, but I like what is there.

simplepotential 2017-08-19 19:44

Simple but fun. Maybe just a tad too difficult or I could just stink. Music and sound were very nice.

coauctor 2017-08-19 20:38

Hey, I'm not a loser! :D

With all this music and visual style the game shifted me into relaxing state. Good enough to spend some time and consume stars, but not too long. Thanks for the game!
