LD39 — Running out of Power

Pipe Trek by quill18 2017-08-18T19:35:49Z

Fantastic game! The idea is really well polished and easy to understand.

Galvanica by icxon 2017-08-02T03:10:43Z

Really fun game! I actually laughed out loud several times. The theme is a lot of fun and I really liked the art style. I agree that the game was a bit easy, but I was definitely entertained.

Lightmare by maniac 2017-08-02T17:32:00Z

I really liked the art and the light mechanic. I was a bit confused by where I was supposed to go. I tried going through the only door I could find, but as soon as I did, the game would reset.

A Night at Grandpa's by Kingethaniel 2017-08-01T01:17:16Z

The art style is super creep and controls were nice and tight. Nice work.

Power Hamstro: A Hamster Point and Click Adventure by defectivemelon 2017-08-01T01:31:08Z

The path finding looks really good and I think the theme is fun. I'm sad you didn't get to finish it.

Tiny Warlock by bwalter 2017-08-02T03:26:22Z

Honestly, just of the same from what other people are saying. The particle effects are amazing, but it's hard to see what's going on. I like the small style, but I feel like the particles need to be toned down just a little. Reminds me of Risk of Rain. Very cool game.

Audio Hook (formerly Hook, Beat, & Keeper) by mrjoshuamclean 2017-08-02T03:45:22Z

I liked the idea but I wish I would have had more range on my shot or been able to move around. It felt like there were times where I was just sitting there, waiting to be able to do something. Maybe there was a mechanic that I didn't understand. I think this game has a lot of potential and the concept is very novel. Good work.

Spacy adventure by egordorichev 2017-08-02T03:34:01Z

Incredible art! The controls felt great. Really really well made game. Great job. The loading screen was a very nice touch.

Lola's Barkade by A-Flat Miner Studios 2017-08-04T14:48:57Z

Amazing graphics! It's a really unique idea. Nice work.

Tales of a Hamster: A Clickable Journey by 0uicmoi 2017-08-01T05:56:11Z

I love the premise and the art is wonderful. I do feel like you need to tweek your numbers a bit though. I had to use an auto clicker to really get anywhere in the game.

Mad Trax by boats 2017-08-04T19:23:53Z

Great looking game. I also really liked the soundtrack. The mechanic is really interesting. If you continue to develop I think it would be really interesting to have a bunch of different turret types.

PowerBot by Caffeinated Psychics 2017-08-02T17:43:24Z

Nice work! I love how well the game controls. The jumping and moving felt great. There were a couple of mechanics that were a little unclear. Can you shoot the security bots? Do you have to stand by the generators to repair them?

Constellation Exploration by matfernandestt 2017-08-02T17:52:54Z

I like the simple design, but I was a little bummed when the music stopped playing. It was a really sweet track.

Night Light by arch-a-type 2017-08-12T03:20:46Z

A well put together little game. Nice work. I liked the premise of the story and theme was really good. I feel like the mechanics could use a little tightening though. It was pretty frustrating that my jumping got nerfed when I hit a dark circle.

Project Sunspot by AntaresValdemar 2017-08-04T14:12:44Z

Good looking little game. Very nice work.

Ready, HANDHELD! by emanvidmaker 2017-08-01T01:27:19Z

The concept was pretty good and was right in-line with the theme. The controls were a little wonky for me. There were times when I be right next to a platform and I would jump up. Also, I felt like you fell way too fast. Everything felt very floaty until I let go of the down button.

D34TH by Falk Bruskeland 2017-08-03T02:00:50Z

Good solid game. I really liked the jumping.

Long Distance Runner by easy82 2017-08-01T06:32:28Z

I really liked the music. Perfect selection for an endless runner. The pixel art and color pallet were wonderful. I would have to agree with @dredloaf though. There seemed like several times there was know way to avoid getting hit.

The Light City of Karola by davidcollado 2017-08-04T14:40:24Z

Ineradicable job! This game is so polished! It's hard to believe that this is a jam game. I really hope you're planing on releasing a "full" version of this game in the future.

M. O. P. S. by DaniilGaponov 2017-08-12T03:09:52Z

Interesting game. It took me a little bit to figure out what was going on, but once I got the hang of it I had a pretty good time. Great graphics and the sound was wonderful.

The Dying of the Light by Winterslice 2017-08-01T06:26:49Z

The narration was great and the ending was surprising. One bug that I did find was in the very beginning I was able walk through the walls of the cabin.

Echo by swav_gav 2017-08-02T03:18:23Z

Great looking game! The lighting effects were amazing. I think some sound effects would have really brought everything together. One bug that I found was when I fell down a hole. My character never respawned on the surface again and I was stuck.

Growing Pains by ctjet99 2017-08-02T13:20:45Z

Great complete game! Very polished. I feel like you strayed from the theme a little bit, but the humor was spot on. Nice job.

Shadow Crawl by Connor Hagan 2017-08-05T15:41:55Z

Interesting game. I feel like there needs to be a little more feedback from the game to indicate when something bad is happening.

Power Struggle by Rokunas 2017-08-01T06:07:11Z

I like the idea, but overall the game felt pretty frustrating. You have start the game with a fairly precise jumping puzzle, but the controls just feel too loose.

Qwik by Sno0w 2017-08-01T06:11:47Z

I love how the game controls! It makes you feel like you're right on the edge of losing control. One bug I did encounter a couple of times was where I would start to go off the track and then turn back into it, my car would get stuck in the track and I would be too low to get any of the power ups.

Winter has come by GistNoesis 2017-08-18T15:08:49Z

You did a great job sticking to the theme. The game felt a bit overwhelming when being confronted with a wall of text. I would start with a few items and then increase them as the game progresses.

TITAN, Defend Earth before it's too late by MichaelTWG 2017-08-02T18:01:27Z

Really cool game! It's such an interesting idea. This would be a super fun multiplayer game.
