The path finding looks really good and I think the theme is fun. I'm sad you didn't get to finish it.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD39 → Power Hamstro: A Hamster Point and Click Adventure

The path finding really works for me, I don't have any problem with it. Some depths of the object (like if the hamster is behind the couch) would need some work. Good job with the game, at least you've made something for Ludum Dare :)
The unfortunate thing with implementing something like pathfinding for a game jam is that it takes a lot of time away from creating content. I think you should've just used WASD movement to be honest. The pathfinding does work, but it doesn't add much besides being proof of concept.
What you got so far looks pretty good. The Nintendo Switch text is pretty funny. And... yeah, there's not much else to say unfortunately.
Props to you for streaming the whole thing though. That's definitely a plus from my point of view.
It looks.. interesting.. but yea.. Not much to do there unless there's something hidden I didn't find. :P
I mean, I was born in Philadelphia, born and raised.
The game really made me think back of childhood memories.
On the playground is where I spemd most of my days.
The game is a bit unfinished but shows potential
Untill a couple of guys who were up to no good, started making trouble in my neighborhood.
I really enjoyed my time playing it. Shadilay!
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared she said you're moving with your auntie something something bell air
It is an interesting start. At the point where it is, I guess that I could only say that I would recommend not using arrows to move from screen to screen. Most point-and-click adventures just automatically do it when you get to the edge of the screen. I honestly didn't even notice the arrows at first. Would love to see where it was going and how it would have fit the theme.
I really enjoyed clicking on the, like, three things in the game I could click on. Great start!
This is an interesting start.
From what you have at the moment, my only improvements (apart from adding in the rest of the storyline etc.) would be to have some sort of instruction right at the start saying "click to move the hamster" or something.
Other than that, it'd be cool if you did some more work on this so we could see where you were going, and give more in-depth feedback :).
PS: I'll give you some points for theme as well, considering the tv had run out of power :P.
Good Path finding foundation going and all the clickables are working, shame that it wasn't finished. It just seems like you ran out of power when working on this one...... So points for theme then!
The texts were funny and the in game hint to "DM Slider 9000" pretty good.
Please don't be so negative about yourself. (It even affects others, so use positive sarcasm perhaps or over the top praising.) Too bad there are only three things to click on. Could have become really funny if you didn't lose your passion, the basics are pretty good!
As you said, It's unfinished. But I can imagine a more detailed atmosphere for the game. for these types of games, you need to work harder on visuals. Cuz it may get a little boring after a couple of minutes. Anyway, I hope you make a full game out of it. good luck.
