LD38 — A Small World

Grow Little Planet by jin47 2017-05-11T17:50:42Z

Hey man, that's a cool little game ! It's fun and relaxing. Graphics are cute (except for the background wich seems kinda broken) and the controls were on point. Space drifting for the win ! It does however lacks some challenge. But still, cool game. Congrats

Small World of Mine by 0uicmoi 2017-05-04T08:36:00Z

Hey @eric-florio ! Yeah, we failed the endings and didn't manage to express correctly what we wanted. Lack of time and of experience ! Thanks for your comment :)

Sillyzilla Rampage by Eric Florio 2017-05-04T08:44:14Z

Hey, nice entry ! I really like the overall feel of the game, felt like in an old black and white monster movie ahah. Only downside is that the ground units are really hard to spot. Great job man

What remains of Project 424 [HTC Vive Only] by Yaroslav Kravtsov 2017-08-02T20:58:25Z

Hi, I tried to test your game with my oculus rift but it doesn't quite work. I am able to see the game, but I spawn in the ground and the game doesn't seem to recognize my touch controllers, so I can't really do anything :/

Save The Day ! by juan 2017-08-02T13:29:36Z

Hello, fellow artist here, I love what you've done with the graphics ! I will most certainly download and study your sources, I'm pretty sure I can learn a thing or two with it :)

There is a nice feeling of speed and the intro scene was great. Only things I dislike are the white separator lines. I understand why they are here but still, I think they break immersion.

Great job overall, a simple yet beautiful game

FAST CRASH by tweedle 2018-04-28T16:51:34Z

Love the art, beautifully done!

Would have been cool to see what answer was the right one when you're wrong. The car was also going a little too slow, thus the challenge only was on the questions and not on the driving part.

I still liked it, and learned that I shouldn't ride an ugly horse if I ever visited Wilbur!

Draw Me Something by Yirggzmb 2018-04-27T10:04:13Z

I spent waaaaay to long on the drawing part...that was a lot of fun! I kept pressing my "undo last stroke" button and kept ending up disappointed that it wouldn't work ahah. The real magic began when I realised it was possible to (kinda) use my graphic tablet.

As for the shooter part, the paint balls changing the colors of the background and other objects was a really nice addition! But to be honest I didn't play that part much, just long enough to see my creations and then I would reload to start again.

Fun game!

Litur Teningur by Vinterskog 2018-04-27T12:31:36Z

Pretty chill game. The music fits perfectly and helps you getting immersed in this strange, blocky and colored world.

I don't like how you can fall and get a game over, I don't think it goes well with the point of the game (to relax). Aside that, it was an enjoyable experience. Good job!

Feed the Beat by Benstar 2018-04-25T16:45:10Z

Pretty cool game overall, nice polish. The music is really good and the art is lovely (tomato for the win!)

I enjoyed it, good job

Sneaky Beats by gamesplusjames 2018-04-26T14:55:18Z

I love the concept and the way you implemented it!

There were times where, I have to admit, I forced my way thought rather than staying sneaky (I think the enemies should run a little bit faster to prevent that) but the levels still seemed cleverly designed (with the exceptions of 2 which had their exit...right in front of the spawn :p )

Audio is also pretty nice, it made the usually boring hacking part fun to do. Great job!

(btw, I learned a lot of what I know about Unity using your channel for the past few years, so thank you)

Light Shaft by 0uicmoi 2018-04-25T19:22:08Z

@mrPenguin are you talking about the ladders ? If so, there is indeed an animation for them, but it won't trigger if you don't stop on them, didn't have the time to fix it :( Thanks for the feedback tho :)

Remember or Die by GameDevMumin 2018-04-25T15:32:52Z

Cool game! It is really challenging but very fun at the same time. I love the concept, even if I suck at it ahah (my record is...3 matches sooooo yeah) Great job!

Survival Cannon by Ted Carter 2018-04-28T17:06:31Z

This was actually pretty fun. You can't go wrong with cannon and explosions!

I was pleasantly surprised to see that the crafting system had more depth than it looked like, and unlocking new crafts feels nice. However, I very quickly had so much of everything that it completely ruined any sense of challenge.

Still, had fun for the time I played. Well done

Cardbound by Silvae 2018-04-28T17:27:24Z

Level design was on point for a jam game! I had to think and test multiple ways each time, and that made for a very pleasant experience.

You've got a very interesting concept here. If you ever decide to expand on it I'll be sure to follow

As promised on the stream, I painted my name on several buildings :D The atmosphere, the idea, the graphics, the audio...man this game is on point! I can see so many possibilities in the long run (lead people thought the city by drawing arrows, paint riddle, etc) Great job !
