LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

Agent Of Souls by Norbex 2015-04-20T01:39:00

Neat game, smooth gameplay

LD39 — Running out of Power

E.M.P. by TheMadStrauss 2017-08-02T01:24:26Z

I'm honestly envious of how much mileage you get from such simple looking art. The animations were fantastic

Saturnalia by graebor 2017-08-01T13:50:39Z

This looks gorgeous, and even if the game parts were a bit confusing and simple the presentation takes all the points for me

Crownless by Galan 2017-08-02T20:17:29Z

Hmm on my system I had some serious performance issues, this was particularly anoying for the last part were you have an archer inmediately after a swordman and the game would just not take the input to jump quickly enough. otherwise this was actually a good game, took me a long while to realize the icons were meant to be controller inputs, the art was super nice

Crownless by Galan 2017-08-02T20:18:39Z

Also please comfirm it is an umbrella, I need to know

Final Flight by chaotikza 2017-08-02T19:58:28Z

Great voice over! also this kind of management game is exactly the kind of game I like. very well excecuted

Decaying Card Game by filippy 2017-07-31T15:37:39Z

@lyon Yes! the Idea is that it starts SUPER easy because all the cards are overpowered, but as they run out of power it gets increasingly impossible

Decaying Card Game by filippy 2017-07-31T15:41:25Z

@sgt3v There is actually no error, just ran out of time to make a game over screen hahaha! sorry about that! (it does print a "Game Over" on the log thou :P)

Decaying Card Game by filippy 2017-07-31T15:44:04Z

@tastymascarpwne

> don’t quite understand the connection to the theme but it’s a nice concept.

The idea is that all the cards run out of power as you play them until they become mostly useless and you loose

Decaying Card Game by filippy 2017-07-31T16:31:49Z

@gilborn Glad you liked it!

Last Sunset by piscythe 2017-08-02T00:46:18Z

Couldn't make my keyboard inputs do anything, the music was GREAT though

Notpong by vegard1992 2017-08-02T00:50:57Z

That was a whole lot of something, what did tools did you use to make this?

I Once Had Power by jackyjjc 2017-08-01T14:10:03Z

Really great name, the only nitpick I have is that I wouldn't have showed the percentages that you are going to loose, seems like a pointless bit of information, but that's just my opinion, also the conceit that it is the warrior telling his story afterwards 10/10 great idea

Defend Home: Mars by sgt3v 2017-07-31T19:10:56Z

Hi I really liked this one! really neat graphics, especially the UI elements which look sick

Drifter by feips 2017-08-02T20:51:50Z

I'm really bad with these momentum based games, but overall I quite like the balance and the upgrades/game loop

Surge by machinescreen 2017-08-01T13:12:46Z

Great graphics, also, looooove the fact that enemies can steal the energy drops, keeps up the sense of urgency

Surge by machinescreen 2017-08-01T13:12:49Z

Powercharge by Ferminho 2017-08-02T19:07:52Z

Super cool idea, feels almost like a rythm game, super fun, also the idea that the whole game is powering down is great

How I Met Your Great Great Grandmother by PeachTreeOath 2017-08-02T01:11:16Z

This was one the best submissions I have seen so far, the presentation of the new character after each generation is just genious, also the fact that you have many different portraits to itterate different people was a super nice touch.

The puzzle itself was what made it for me, very clever nd challenging but easy to grasp (at least after you die once and get the "tips")

Devious Plant Commando by Marcenat 2017-08-01T14:18:15Z

Ammo is really scarce so I just mostly tried to skip all the plants that could be skipped, also I was not super sure what the relation with the Theme was?

Power Grid Graph Nightmare by ultrarat 2017-08-02T13:04:35Z

Always nice to see puzzle games, this one is particularly entretaining, with just the right level of challenge to keep it engaging

Sugar Rush ! by Behenate 2017-07-31T15:17:00Z

I'm not really used to hard plataforming, so this was painfully hard, but very fun.

Also I would LOOOOOOVE if either the level restarted automatically after you died, or you could restart it with a keyboard key, having to grab the mouse to click after every death was the only thing i didn't like about this.

cheers

Shellshocked by souperstrawer 2017-07-31T19:29:14Z

I really like the grainy effect on the screen when running out of energy. Im really bad at these physics driving games, so this was like super hard for me, but it was very fun anyways

Gradient Descent by Zelos 2017-07-31T19:41:57Z

This looks super professional, the sounds were so good that I cannot but complain about the one bit I did not like: the bit used when displaying texts was very jarring when contrasted with the excellent music. Also are you aware of the digital card game Solforge? just curious, loved your game!

Robot Kernel PaniK by Le Slo 2017-08-02T15:44:17Z

Maybe color consoles/doors diferent colors so it is easier to tell which console opens which door?

No Sorcerer's Sky by TheFlyingKeyboard 2017-08-02T13:14:38Z

reaaaally nice crafting/building system, also gotta love those meme names

Pinch&scape by Guillaume Gomez 2017-08-02T12:29:33Z

This is probably the most intriguing game I have seen so far, as a piece tech this looks super impressive and I will be delving into your source code, I'm not really sold on the game but yeah the room for improvement here is great

Constellation Exploration by matfernandestt 2017-07-31T15:05:38Z

I found Lvl 2 MUCH harder than the others, the topmost bit was devilishly hard to find, especially since you can't see it when the level starts. Great submission!, the dash feels a bit jittery maybe, but the game is very fun,

Lantern by Kaban 2017-08-02T00:58:34Z

The art is really good, and the music fits the game perfectly, also the lantern on/off sounds are just top notch

Hold My Coffee by sunnray 2017-08-02T12:23:59Z

I really like these one key controls, but some of the physics were not vere intuitive, for example when you hit a wall you are stopped but when you jump over your previous speed is almost automatically restored. Very good overall, also I think the music really fitted the art

Hold My Coffee by sunnray 2017-08-02T12:25:15Z

Alnmost forgot: it is the nitpickiest of nitpicks but could you please next time call your file as the name of your game hahahahahah, i have been downloading a lot to play and my folder is already filled with ld39.exe

The Power Factory by Swifttech 2017-07-31T18:54:03Z

This is a game well made, my only nitpick is that sometimes you click on a space to put a power generator and nothing happens (altough it looks like it should fit)

MoonBall by CurseTats 2017-08-02T11:58:51Z

The music is very cute. When you jump into a wall you can stick to it indefinitely, which is not a problem just an observation

NUP-5 by Seeley 2017-08-02T01:02:02Z

Hi, I really think this would be greatly improved if all the enemies moved/attacked simultaneously, as in on the rooms with three enemies it becomes very tedious and eats aways the flow

Battery-Powered Business by AlmostCthulhu 2017-08-02T01:30:40Z

yes, webGL error, win version works fine thou, if you want a quick and dirty way to procedurally generate the pipes game you might be interested in looking up tsuro tiles: you can place them randomly to make a 6x6 grid that always has a solution for any given start/finish if you allow to rotate the individual tiles

The P.U.R.G.E. Protocol by hhsaez 2017-07-31T19:59:19Z

When the first person appeared on the window(and casted a shadow on the wall) I almost jumped from the scare, also some of the questions made me laugh, did you take them from a database or did you just come up with a bunch of them?

Enerzoid by eXr 2017-07-31T14:48:25Z

This is ridiculously satisfying to play, seriously the controls are super smooth and makes it very adictive

ZETPACK-99 by verysoftwares 2017-08-03T13:47:15Z

Very polished game! I love your take on the theme, also the way you marked sections as small squares within the same screen instead of new screens was very clever

Automated Explorer by Aircraft Terrier 2017-08-01T13:28:19Z

Gotta love those cheat keys, but seriously, this was surprisingly challenging and fun to play

Quest for Normalcy by CaptainDreamcast 2017-08-01T13:49:16Z

The art was super nice, and I did like the over the top death animation. Is there no fail state? I just left it open for a couple of minutes without pressing any keys and it just kept going

Defender of the Energy! by BesSlaaneshi 2017-08-02T12:40:13Z

Great art/music. reminds me of those old school side scrollers like TNMT (the good one)

Smash ball by Sivael 2017-07-31T19:21:20Z

The web version ran at like 1fps for me, I downloaded the windows version and it ran just fine. really neat game, very satisfying to just crash into things and watch them explode into pieces. there's some things happening when you manage to "jump" by using fallen cubes as ramps

DRAIN by LERPish 2017-08-02T16:26:31Z

I really loved the fact that the katana leaves a trail

Industria by rb2750 2017-08-02T12:17:59Z

Hotkeys to select which buildings to build would be ideal, since you hace so very little time
