Hello! ich.io link is 404! check it out. I'll edit this comment in a bit :) //Edit: Nice, so once you know how to open gates you can keep moving, but sometimes when you don't get all the energy to open the next gate there's no restarting the checkpoint or a way to reach more energy :)
The link is ok now, Check it out buddy! Don't forget to rate!
This could use a restart button, methinks. Another bug was that the final gate told me I did it even though I only had 4/5 energy thingies.
I liked the idea of a limited sight platformer, so I liked the gameplay. I think the graphics and music worked well for the type of game you were going for. Hope you keep working on this, man, it has potential.

Very good for a first game! I saw your email and yes I still remember you
Easy yet fun to play! Nice work
I liked the concept and all the audio work. The sound and music really fit a relaxing mood and I really liked it. It took a couple of times through the levels to figure out the order that things had to be done in.
Suggestions: I think that the character could have been a lot smaller and the levels larger. It would have been cool to be able to see where I was trying to get to (the glowing orbs) but not the route that I would have to take to get there.
Bugs: On the second area I jumped down. I had no way to climb back up and couldn't get anything, so I just had to wait for time to run out. Either a manual reset or a way to jump up through those platforms would have been nice.
Thanks for your suggestion brother, It means a lot for me....

The music is very cute. When you jump into a wall you can stick to it indefinitely, which is not a problem just an observation
Good job for a first submission! Platforming works very well, controls and collision are solid and the BB-8 design is very cute. I would say that there are some areas where you can miss one and are unable to go back to retrieve it. Well done on finishing! :)
THANK YOU SOO MUCH FOR ADVISING
A cool idea with a cute, familiar looking robot (suspiciously familiar). Would've benefited from being scaled out, as in, having the player be smaller and the viewing circle (although still limiting of course) being a little larger. This would've allowed making more complex levels an easier job. Music was nice also. Would like to see this project continued.
@bocodillo Thanks for your reply, I will surely start modifying this game and make it a good game

Fun little game you have here. Well done!
I love the music, graphics need a bit of improve, but it's cool :)
Welll done!
I hope to see this game again in the near future!
@flobar and @rafael-souza, My brothers, Thanks for playing my game.. I am really thinking to improve this game's graphics and I will be making more easy and challenging level (LOL!, The Levels are not at all easy, But for some people, It is easy) Thanks for giving your time for my game!
Thanks a lot brothers
I like the music and graphics, they create nice atmosphere. Physics and level design could use some work. When controlling a ball it's strange that you would get stuck on a smallest bump. Some parts of levels are one-way streets so if you make a wrong move you have no chance of fixing your mistake. I can see potential in this project if these issues are fixed.

Music was nice and very chill, but I'd have expected a more ominous sound track for a game that takes place in the dark. The character is spherical but felt like it was gliding along, perhaps rotating the ball part would look nicer and tilting the head from side to side, much like how BB-8 moves about :stuck_out_tongue:
The gameplay could do with utilising skill instead of trial and error, on the last stage I carried on going right and didn't have enough energy to go back the way I came, which isn't something I could control.
@conk, the last mission is possible, And thanks for your review. I would work on the game more after the results
Simple but nice looking, I'm not too sure if I personally find the idea of a limited sight platformer fun but its an interesting idea. As @minibobbo I got frustrated at one point where if i forgot to jump I missed one and couldn't get back to it so had to restart, so if you include that in your level design you need to be able to restart from the last gate to avoid things getting annoying.
@automatonvx Thanks for giving your feedback brother, Actually, I will work on this game more after the judging overs.

Very impressive first game, nice graphics and a really nice feel to the whole thing atmospherically. Definitley could use a restart button like others have said. Seems a bit too much based on luck also, so maybe implement something that involves our player knowledge instead of a guessing mechanic? Power loss is such that it can be punishing to go the wrong way. Maybe include some visual or audio cues to subtly hint where the player needs to go next.
@spiffy, Thanks for your feedback. I will be adding a arrow like thing which points out where you have to go first.
I found this to be a very relaxing game, the graphics could use a touch up but overall there was a very nice atmosphere. The sounds and music very much helped with that as well, good game!

It was pretty straightforward and easy to play. I thought the character was very cute but a bit too big in reference to the screen and the tiles. It was easy to get stuck on the sides of walls. Some of the level design punished me for not taking blind jumps. I also feel like the energy mechanic didn't leave me any time to feel "good" about exploring. I was able to finish the game with only 4 out of 5 power cells for the last area. If I were to run out of power it would be nice if I could restart from the beginning of the current area.
@cudabear Thanks for your review brother!

I DID IT. Nice job!
@drums Thanks for playing it on Twitch Drums!
The track on the menu screen was a banger but I didn't think the one in game really suited it. The idea for an exploration platformer is really cool but it's hard to explore when you can't see where you're going.
One thing that pops up my mind when I see those Energy balls was the logo of Daemon Tools... The game was cute, even though it was too short. No winning screen to show when you collected all of it.
I like it and I love the music -well done! Sadly I'm always stuck at gate 2, cause I fall down and there's no chance to get out again :o

Cute graphics and also cute music. The concept is easy to catch and can get more depth through level design. For a post-jam version you should also focus on improve animations (make the body roll like the cute robot in the latest star wars) and sfx (jump, land door open, door cannot be open...).
Hi, I just played your game. Loved the music, it was so cute. The minimal graphics were also nice. With a simple premise I enjoyed it :)

Cute music :) The graphics and level design are good too. Well done!
Nice idea, but I think that steering is a little bit too stiff. Also it would be fun if the ball would rotate.
Thanks for your feedback :)

We streamed your game with Danae plays on Twitch. :) Here's a link:
[Danae streams Ludum Dare 39: Day 2, part 2: MoonBall](https://youtu.be/SeUiu4ynC54?t=0h58m56s)
Nice little start, but can of course use lots of polish. Graphically, the ball could rotate, the darkness could be less total – it almost impedes gameplay as it is. The soundtrack is cute, but I don't think it fits the game very much. Gameplay-wise, there is not much – not much challenge once you know where to go. I'm sure you could add more interesting platforming, less linear progression, enemies, etc.
Nice game :)

**First of all:** Thank you for your feedback and for checking out my game. Appreciate it!
**Overall game impression:** Very simplistic and enjoyable game. It is straightforward, nothing overly complicated but it is really soothing and as mentioned before, enjoyable game. I had a good time playing this game. I sincerely liked the lighting where the environment is only visible around the player. Sound effects were nice and background music was quite soothing and pleasant.
**Suggestions and comments on improvement:** Add controls for WASD as well, and make another interact key, like F or something so it's easier to interact with the games besides a combination of right arrow + E. Smooth and easy to use controls are a big part of every game and I think those additions I've mentioned would make this game even better.
Thanks for playing and rating my game.
Too dark. But cool robot
@pavelsovushkin Thanks for rating :smile:
