Great game ! I like the principle. The voices are a nice touch ! Overall it's a cool game !

Great voice over! also this kind of management game is exactly the kind of game I like. very well excecuted

I liked the game in general, although it was a little confusing in the beginning. It seems like the sliders work in discrete intervals, e.g. 30-40 workers = 4 time, so it wouldn't have made a difference if I used 30 or 39 workers.

I liked the voiceovers, and they definitely added to the mood of the game.

Thanks for the good feedback @matkubik, @filippy & @jusw85! @jusw85 so the intervals were introduced because we moved towards a single time stepped process. We had way too many rounding errors and it is definitely a part of our game that could receive some extra attention. We also did struggle quite a bit as our initial plan of how the numbers would relate to each other had some undesired effects.

It seemed like whatever I did I was always under attack, no matter what I did. Or I'm just terrible at these types of games, which is probably more likely. Anyway I enjoyed the game it was pretty fun. The narrator was sometimes a bit hard to understand though, I think text and voice together would've been a little easier.

Interesting game, I was a little confused at first but got the hang of things quickly. The voice overs were good, although the robot filter made it a little hard to understand.

The mining could have done with a button as well, because I went to a planet, accidentally clicked cancel and then to bring the pop up again, I had to move away and then come back in closer. Having a button to mine when you're within proximity would help.

Overall a good game that fits the theme well. Good job!

At the beginning, I didn't really know what to do, but after a few minutes I figured everything out :) The game is very simple yet really interesting. Subtitles would be appreciated because it was quite hard to understand everything. In overall - simple, nice and climatic game.

Thanks to all for the feedback!

@stefvanschie & @gecuit: Will definitely look at text + voice over - my wife had the same comment. We were planning to ramp up the difficulty gradually over much more time to a greater climax, but ran out of time to add more levels.

@mcjammydodger: Thanks for the mining button idea! Such a good idea and simple to build, but we didn't think of it even though we were flying in circles all the time to test mining...

Well Done. Like you said, it is not completely done, but you can tell that a lot of work has gone into the making of it. I am not a very imaginative person, and this game requires quite a bit of it. I am more of the 'actiony' type of person. In my opinion, the gameplay is quite slow, but this is only my opinion. So in the gameplay aspect, nothing needs to be changed. As for the voice overs, i found it a little difficult to understand what the tutorial voice was saying but i eventually got the gist of it. Other than that, it really added personality to the game. Great work and congratulations!

Thanks for all the great feedback! I'm starting to think my local accent with those effects applied on top might be difficult for people to understand. Will definitely keep that in mind when doing something like this again to ensure that we have subtitles available as well.

xaedes 2017-08-06 11:09

Nice idea! I always wanted to play the robots =) Some subtitles would have been nice for the voice over. But the voice over was very fitting for the setting.

Story-driven gameplays are always a nice thing when you do them right, the effort in doing them is also quite respectable, so kudos to that! ;) The voice overs were really nicely done, the quality was great and crystal clear, both from humans and robots (nice effect! ;D).

The game can become really nice after some polish, it's a shame you couldn't do it the way you wanted to, but the work done here was great, and it was a really nice starting point!

Congratulations and keep making! Good Work and Good Luck! :)
