Welp, that was interesting. I'm not sure what I was doing, but it was pretty intense. I beat the first round!

Unfortunately i don't think you can use those assets you used in the compo.

Fun game! I kicked my room mate's ass :D

That was a whole lot of something, what did tools did you use to make this?

felixmcfelix 2017-08-02 14:56

Fun, but I have to agree that the assets are a little too close to prior work for this to be a compo entry.

Took me a bit to figure out what was going on, but it's an interesting variant of Pong. The Lethal League-esque hitstun made it easier to time putting up shields etc. Good effort!

Heyyyooo somebody knows what's going on here; lethal league was mostly the inspiration for it! =) Glad you thought it was fun. @FelixMcFelix

I used python/pygame @filippy

This game was pretty tough to figure out. The game moved to fast for me to comprehend what was going on and I am not sure how scoring worked. Game looks and sounds great although I don't believe that this can be considered a compo entry because the art assets look far too similar to Donkey Kong and Pac Man.

Congratulations on making a complete game!

Changed it to a Jam entry.

Remember it's a two-player game friends!

mr-mcgibblets 2017-08-07 21:51

I didn't feel like I was in control of the game at all. It seemed to just play itself.

pedro-romero 2017-08-07 21:58

Too fast. Simply, too fast. This game is too fast to understand anything. Both players ended pressing the directions wishing to win. Also, the game starts and ends abruptly, without any kind of pause to get ready.

Your source link expired. Now I can't try to make this tun on Linux. A reupload possibly?
