I like the vector graphic style. But for example the "forget low skill" wasn't for me clear. When I follow arrows I use to do it from minor to mayor. But in your case arrows are pointing back from mayor to minor, which made it a bit confusing at the beginning. A tooltip would be great also :) So the player know what he is using. But in general it is a well done game :)

I guess with "running out of power" you mean health? I like the usability, and how to shoot, dash etc is realy intuitive. To be honest i don't like much the graphics. But in general it is a nice game :D The cmobination between side scroller and shooter in this case is finally something new :D
great what you made in this time :) It would be nice some grafic feedback if the enemys getting hitten or not. In my case there happen a strange bug, the camera moves sometimes down. And the camera moves to fast. But it is realy good.

The game is funny. But i have one question. Is it normal that the screen went black and left only littlte points? If it is so, than i like it more :D If not, than there is a bug :´D. Graphics need some improvement and there should be a menu. But in this less time i guess your run out of time. Great job, and nice path finding.
I like that game. It has a kind and funny mood. I like the idea that they have get warm inside the house etc. Maybe the wolfs? should try to catch when the player is near. It would be great if there where more to do, but i guess it was dificult in that poor time :) I enjoy it and love how the wolfs jump arround xD. Ok first i didn't get how to get over the enemy until i read the comment with "climb". I love how climb xD... it was really funny to see the little guy move around. Maybe there should been flying enemies too. But i like this little relaxing journey. Nice work.

This game is incredible. The click sound should be replaced, but it's a sweet little journey. But i'm confused, do i have rescued the sister? xD.... Last part is a bit strange to me too. I'm myself and have to choose between me and myself? Do i have in this case rescued a live o suicide/given up myself? I realy enjoyed the game.

It is a realy original idea use the Periodic table and this kind of concept. Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't the jumping sound the sound of electricity? For example the tesla coil :) The Theme run out of power isn't that clear I think. I had to read twice before I understood exactly why it's "running out of power". It is an adictive game and it's funny. Maybe better graphics but i guess that in such less time it was dificult. Good game :D

Yes i configured that Hamster spawn in rare intervals(30,60,90,120) :D I should reduce it. Also i want to create something like a "bed room". The main idea was a child who is scared in the night while monster come out from under the bed etc. And when you focus i'll turn into a tree or cloth. I'll keep working on it :D Sorry for my english :'D

Hi thanks for your feedback, i wished to add more versions (web, mac etc.) but i really ran out of time :) Actually you do have to pay with your live (You can interact with the door or leave it there). There is also a altar where you can pay with you life to increase your damage.

@dflinders, @douglima thanks guys for your feedback :D Actually the green plane should be a reset. This one would spawn you back to the top position but with everything increased (Enemy level, cost an so on). The "idea" (it remainds in idea) was to make the level each time harder. The altar would have several items to purchase, for example new weapons, attack ammount (which actually is the only which works jeje). Highscore would be the highest Stage level. That was the main idea and i think i would have done it in time... but o just could create the basic stuff and the reset function didn't work and i could't figured out why ^^ (After knowing the solution it was already posted)

@mickm hey thanks for you feedback. Actually i let my wife test the game and the first she thought was that she has to control the "soul/orb". I understand why it seems to be confusing. The idea was that you have to figure out how to get through the scenes. That is the reason why i did not put them with diferent colors etc. Confuse was my goal but maybe it was a bit to hard?

But not sure how when it says "do you feel it" the jump was strange, rotation pivot point displaced and i felt out of the game and it should down. Was it a bug? or was it part of the game? Surprisingly fun. Hadn't read the introduction I had realised that you can shoot. Then the seesaw had made sense. I had first tried to hurl myself to the alien with the seesaw. Music is good too.

@henrik-ganard Hey Henrik, thanks for your advice! I have now learned something new through ludumdare. Game testers are very important. I had tested the game with my mouse setting. But I'm used to having my pointer sensitivity set very high. When I gave it to my wife to test it, she was a bit overwhelmed with the camera. If I had more time I would have included a slider for the rotation speed.

@vinzbad Too bad, you can (if you want) try it again from the beginning. If you have to come in at the beginning you have more sweets to work off. After 100% there is a "surprise"

@aterlamia Hey, thanks for your comment :) The colision detection of the camera tooked me too long so i decided not to add it in the game. The looping of the "candy missing" was due to the theme, but i think you're right. A bit less and not so loud :) The same goes for the background music which is here more like a foreground music xD. Was it hard to control even with changingthe settings of the game?

Good rendering and good animation. I know it is not physically correct, but I think it would have been better if you could correct the trajectory in the air. It is difficult to estimate how far it will fly. But maybe that was the difficulty?Good interpretation of the theme btw :D

The game is very relaxing and pleasant to play. Only the slow down key did not quite work for me. Sometimes I had to accelerate with s. But I think the game is very well done.

Lots of attention to detail, and a nice variety. I also think the flying is great.
Solid game. I find the UI gameover animation very successful. The music is also appropriate. If there was anything I could suggest for improvement, it would be to adjust the lighting a little. Either with street lanterns or with the bloom effect. You can get a lot out of that. But I also understand that you have to concentrate on the most necessary things in such a short time. And for that I think the game is more than successful. I also find the controls very pleasant.
I like the mood of the game and the paralax effect. A little more variety would have been great but I understand that in such a short time it is hard to implement enemies or moving obstacles. Maybe the character could have been a robot or an astronaut instead of a delivery boy to fit better into the picture. Maybe the flags could have been space stations that you have to deliver to. But in general, a finished game with music and everything. I also find the ui very nicely done and I find your pixel art very successful. So hats off to you. :D
I found the controls very good. Clicking on the packet was a bit strange. I instinctively wanted to press E. But after that it was easy to handle. The background seemed a bit dull. A sunset or starry sky would be a bit more pleasant. (I think because of the red to blue transition) and down by the grass you could have made it a bit mario like, half earth half grass (a bit lighter colours in general). The fact that you took the trouble to make an extra tutorial was great. In general I find it very solid.
The boat was a bit slippery, but I liked the idea of a supplementary offer and a request. The ring animation was also very successful.I also like the way you speed up the boat. It gave more of a feeling of steering a boat.

Great, even with tutorial. I find the brief throw physics very successful. With some transitions from the bridge to the island you had to be careful not to fall and the control so instant is good but with a slight transition in the rotation you would have more time to react. I think the speed is good, otherwise you would be sluggish at the distance to the islands. I also think it's great that you can unlock a new ability (Orb). Unfortunately I could only distribute 22 letters xD
@jk5000 That is a very good hint. In fact, the character plants the plants depending on which direction he is facing. It would have been better to plant the plants in the direction of the camera. Thanks for the tip!
@tompudding Yes, at first I also thought about leaving the plants. But it occurred to me, what happens if you put the plants in the wrong place and the level is blocked? That's why I decided to do a complete reset :)

@argaf My wife told me exactly the same thing. I didn't even know the game xD I also had the idea that you could glide over air currents with a dandelion. But when I was done, she showed me the gameplay. They flies with a dandelion too😅😵 Not sure if I should be frustrated or happy that I had the same idea as a big game. 😅

@blue-pin-studio i totally agree, i completely forgot about the feet among other things xD i noticed that when i recorded the gameplay video :upside_down: And the reason for the blueberry?... xD I was making dinner for the kids and there was a shrivelled one that I thought was just too cool. So I thought I'd make a scarred blueberry head in Team Burton style xD End of logic. The message at the end is just "The road is stening and hard and we need to be there for our kids when they need us" :smiley:

"Beginner" uf xD But i made it. The graphics are great and the game concept is ingenious :D Sometimes I wasn't sure if the position of the arms was correct when he had to position them on the pc. But it turned out to be right :D I think it was really successful and I had fun with it.
The game concept is ingenious, even if I go crazy when I press the wrong keys xD I also love the fact that you have the chance to make up for your mistake in a duel. I also find the styling very unique. It's also great that you can choose your character. In general, I find it very successful.
I'm not sure what I just played xD So imagination you have. Pulling teeth with a harpoon, how could it be otherwise. Add a tooth fairy and it would have fit the theme perfectly xD The controls took some getting used to. The rotation should not accelerate but react instantaneously. It felt like driving a car. A visor would also have been an advantage but well you could hit everything :D
The graphics were great. The gameplay itself was also great. It just took me a little while to understand that you can turn your fist with the mouse. After that it was really fun. Also the fact that you made different enemies and fell made the whole thing dynamic. Superbly done.
The steering was a bit cumbersome. Either because the rotation point would have been better on the demand axles or drifting (which was probably too time-consuming in the short time). The reverse gear would also have been more dynamic if you could reverse instantaneously. I think the level design is well done, you can see that you put a lot of work into it. I think the concept with the pick-up is good and the delay makes sense because the passengers need a while to get in and out. A goal would have been nice. For example, reach $10,000 or something similar. I think the game is more than successful for the short time.
I like the perspective and find the sound effects funny. Basically quite nice. A little more variety would be nice, but a solid game.
Fun game. I find the concept of them being greedy funny. The most fun is when they all fall into the water. I find it very successful.

The controls are very dynamic and I love spamming the bullet casings :D I also love that there are different stages and a puzzle to solve. It makes for variety and I haven't been bored at any time. If there was one thing I didn't like (complaining at a high level) it would be that you jump by pressing up. I understand why it was done and it is logical. But I sometimes got stuck on the edges because I pressed spacebar. For me, jumping and pressing upwards in games is like going through doors in mario. But I think that's also a subjective matter of taste.I really like the game. Good work.
I like the idea. The art behind it could have used a little more love and It feels a bit rigid but the variety of levels is a plus. The music btw is great.
I find the idea of the baby very funny. I also think the music is nice. The only problem is the acceleration of the stork. Once you have taken a path, you can hardly correct it. A high score would also have been nice to see your best score :) But still a solid game. I also like the possibility to skip the intro :D
The design is great, the textures and the blur effect have been implemented really well. The way you explain the controls is also very clever and looks good. Where can I find the vehicle after I have handed in the first package? I walked to the next platform and back to the beginning, but I couldn't find the vehicle anywhere. *Edit: Ok i found the vehicle, but couldn't find more packages just the first one. But i like really the mood and design.
@erlioniel Thank you, I made the mistake of turning left. I thought it was only one way until I discovered the whole path afterwards. Do you know where the other packs are? I drove all the way up and then went offroad (and got stuck xD). I want to give you a fair rating so I want to play the game properly :)
So, finally played through. First of all, I find the atmosphere very pleasant. The vehicle controls were also very good, as was the gravity when going uphill. The explanation of the controls, as written earlier, was also great. I just kind of expected that you would find the different packages in different places, and not all in one pile. But all in all, it's a game to relax in.
Friendly ambience. Good steering, but the rotation should come from behind like a boat rudder to get the feeling. Turning on the spot doesn't feel right :D In general I find it very good. A timer or a goal like reaching money would have rounded the whole thing off.
Feels like a relaxed round trip through france :D I still don't quite understand what the red zone is all about. Time loss? I think the design is very nicely done and the sorting is fun.
Really fun game concept. I like how you can expand it dynamically. A little more variety would have rounded out the game :D
I think the art is really good. An option that you can show and hide the quest panel would have been good so that you have more visibility. An info button like when you hand in the quest would have been good for the doctor. I didn't know what the window was at the top right at the beginning, and then I understood that the doctor gives me missions. An exclamation mark to show "hey i'm giving you a quest" would have been an advantage. I like that the plague rats give up the chase after a while. i also find the fact that there are dialogues a sweet detail. Music would have been good too :D
The statement "lack of control" is really appropriate. I would have made up and down controllable with ctrl and space or shift. It doesn't feel right that the taxi goes back to the clock jump height and you can only climb. The rotation is also difficult. I would have made the cameras detached from the taxi so that where you look with the camera, the taxi moves via a lerp. This multiplies the rotation and makes it difficult to control. But I think the funky style is really nice and the music plus art here is really nice. I'm a big crazy taxi fan btw.
Hahahaahaha the F****** end.I had to laugh so much. The game is extremely dynamic and you even made little stops for the hits for better visualisation. The graphics are also brilliant. This is really a 10 out of 10. I just would have liked to kill the tentacle creature at the end :D

Yeah it's really addictive xD I feel bad for the people who just get their package 10 years later because they weren't worth that much. Almost like real life :D Sometimes the x from the truck doesn't work.
Great music, very good tutorial (a bit long but it's ok, better detailed than lacking information). An option to meet several clients at the same time would have been great. In the end there were more and more and you have the feeling that you have no control. It's really fun and has a lot of potential, but getting a line empty would be a great relief and satisfaction. It sometimes feels constricting because you lose control.

I think the concept and the funky style are brilliant. It's fun to play, but I think the enemies should disappear after one hit or be a life indicator. I also don't quite understand what power and kill brings. I have always collected everything but I don't see that I can kill enemies with one shot. The area that increases I assume means that the bonus is stacked? For example, if everyone in the area was killed I think it would be even more fun. It has a lot of potential, maybe if you explain it a bit more clearly (for stupid people like me :D ) then it will be a great game. I really enjoyed it but the enemies that were always in the way and the feeling of not really getting stronger reduced the fun a bit. You like to feel like you are in control or overpowered :D (Even if only for a short moment).
It has so much potential. More platforms or a high score would have been great. Maybe pack the drops you have to pick up to hand in or obstacles to lighten things up a bit. But the basis is a good idea.
I like the music and the physics. Sometimes the camera turns in one direction so that the plane drifts away. Also, the drop is relative to the camera's perspective. When I look from the bird's perspective to direct the targets, it throws the packages 90 degrees relative to it. That means you can also shoot them into the sky. That's why I found it a bit difficult to hit. I just spammed the packages and it worked. The controls were almost intuitive, which I found good. Maybe shift and ctrl for acceleration and deceleration and the camera controllable with the mouse? I also find the transition from one camera to the other very successful

I like the idea. Unfortunately, the animations are a bit confused. Sometimes he just jumps while running. (Probably a boolean which does not reset itself). I would also advise you to use "cinemachine". This allows you to rotate and control the camera much more dynamically, detached from the character. The fact that the camera is stuck directly to the player feels rigid. Since he is a ninja, he is fast, so I would also increase the acceleration (not the max speed). Just to make him move instantaneously and feel more agile. I thought the concept was right and good. I also liked the title and gameover picture :D And for doing it in 3d in such a short time, it was already a success. Some people don't even manage to finish it :D
I think the dynamics of the game are great. The mood is really cool and fun to play. If there was something to criticise, it would be the difficulty of hitting the ufos. But I think that's exactly the difficulty. Besides, it's really only minimal. I think this is a very solid and strong piece of work that has been conjured up.
I think it's great that if you make a mistake, the path is recalculated. It would only be great if the game could check that you have no more steps or a reset button so that you don't have to wait until the time has run out. I find the music and the monopoly feeling very successful :D

I really liked the idea,the art style and the game. Driving the car was fun. Would have been nice if you could turn the camera. It also took me a while to realise that it's not the position of the car with the pipe to the palette that matters, but the mouse cursor (to suck things in).
The steering is very neat. A small tilt would have rounded off the flight. I also like that the arrow marks the location. What I don't quite understand is when exactly you are game over. Presumably when the time runs out? Unfortunately I couldn't see a countdown. But all in all, it's very neat. The camera and controls felt dynamic.
Okay, I delivered all three. It was fun in itself, especially as someone who likes to play Mario. I might have done the increase the other way round. Because I find the first toillette more difficult to reach than the last 2. You should definitely add an explanation with the triple jump in the controls. I tried a double jump after the first mushroom, but when I saw it wasn't happening, I didn't try the second one. I only knew about it because of a comment from here. I find the idea very funny xD
Ok the game was really funny. I love the humour and that you can upgrade. I also find the throwing very successful. At the beginning I had moved up and was surprised how to get to the houses. Then I understood that you pull like a slingshot. The best run was 20$ with rocket propulsion :D It was really fun. In the short second I find it more than successful.
So in advance, really good style. The visualisation of a screen is also very successful. Metallica in 8Bit mode is as cool as Metallica in Apocalyptica style xD Also very dynamic, good reaction and simple but effective gameplay. A bit of variety like things you can't catch or the packages in rhythm like the lie down would have rounded things off :D

I don't give up easily and still have the ambition to make it. But it's really close to the limit :D The troops spawn too quickly while you're still trying to beat the boss. But I think it's generally difficult to find the right level. I always try to make my games a bit easier because as a developer you know the game inside out. But this time my game was too easy xD...

I knew that the dog had a cadaver face. He was too cute to stay alive. Sweet story. When I pressed the space bar it seemed to have stacked something and took longer to load because suddenly the game was very fast. A little tip, for platformers you should consider adding the coyote jump :D
The game was fun :D but I had a bug with the green cube with the star. I had made all the materials but it still showed as red.

Oh my god this game is so brilliant. I had to laugh so hard with the intro and the whole design. It was a little hard to hit with the mouse sometimes but even gameover was awesome just to see the picture. I love it and now I'm hungry.
It took me 10min.... I think the idea is good and the concept and the fact that it is compo in time is great. Also the dialogues like drinking the potion :D I would maybe change the controls. It should fly where the broom looks, or where the mouse looks. It was a bit difficult to control the broom.

I just love dragging all the minions behind me. It looks so funny. I just exaggerated a bit because at some point I had so many that I couldn't do the ritual anymore because the framerate was so slow that they just stopped at one point xD... The intro video was also great. I had to laugh.
Surprisingly addictive. I also like the paper mario style of shooting. I would add some feedback to make it a bit more agile. (Light up more when you take damage, make particles spawn when an enemy is killed etc.)
Can't I just summon Leemon? I liked that one xD Find it cool that you just conjured a pack of cards in a compo. It would be nice if you could still have a strategy by counting cards etc. That way I only ever had to choose the highest cards. But I think it's a great implementation and in such a short time. Which engine did you use to write it?

i thought the style was very nice and also that you had to trigger with both hands. I didn't quite understand the advantage of being 10% faster and having 10% more followers if I can have 20% followers and the circle doesn't turn so quickly. I think the concept is nice. Especially in the short time

I think it's cool that each player has their own ability and you can take each other out. It's a great mechanic.
A solid game in such a short time. Since I see money, I assume that you didn't have time for upgrades. Tip to make the gameplay feel better straight away: "Feedback". When the balls fly to the portal, it feels like nothing is happening. Let the balls destroy and the portal flash. Same with the enemies. You feel detached from the game. When the monsters hit you, you should light up or be flung away, etc. But please don't be disappointed by my criticism. Just trying to help you improve the game experience :)

Nice idea. I was briefly confused at the end as to whether the game was over or not. In the end I tried to throw the player into the hole and it seemed to be the right decision? :D It was really fun and a tough nut to crack before the last level.

I really like the concept, the design and the music. But i think im not smart enough for the water level :D I tried to figure it out and i will. But for now i give up xD
Well, it's a canoe.... why not xD looks nice and I like the marching sound of all the enemies. A mission would have been great. Bought everything in the end and found an exploit xD
I love the popping sound xD And the text effct is tasty.
I think it's great that you were able to develop such a concept in compo time. It reminds me a bit of the mini card games from final fantasy. I missed the mana display :)
