Awesome game! Great and detailed drone control!
This was a pretty fun game, I actually found it surprisingly relaxing even with the time limit. Love the inclusion of a tutorial as well, always a great touch when rating so many games. The humour was a great, seeing the contents and guessing the weight and fragility was fun, and I had a laugh when the ttrpg books weighed me down so much I could barely move (I wonder how much that would have cost). I did find the time restraints really tight, it made it hard for me to time anything well, especially when you got charging in the mix. I found myself constantly going into the negatives especially with the more fragile items. I think I would have also made the game just game-over when you run out of charge, it felt a bit empty having to manually exit out. Overall though this controlled really nicely and was a relaxing little game, nice work!
This is what I initially saw before eventually I somehow managed to move the window to a bigger screen Zrzut ekranu 2023-05-01 123843.png I had some problems with starting the game, after avast did it's safe mode simulation the game would not launch and there would be an empty errorlog, restarting my PC solved the issue. I think it was a bit hard to see what is going on on the ground, I think it would be better if the camera pointed lower (drone above the center of the screen) allowing to see the house numbers and landing pads better. I enjoyed the drone physics and the sfx. Could be fun to see someone (like a gun pointing out the window) trying to shot down the drone "hey, this is my air".
Really fun! Perhaps missing a bit of diversity in the obstacles but the controls were really fun and getting packages around always a nail biting experience ;D
Hey, awesome tutorial. That was very ambitious! And probably good because the controls were quite advanced! One problem I had was the camera. Most of the time I only was sky, but the interesting parts were further down on the ground, like house number and stuff. I think you managed to get a good feeling in the drone, it felt nice flying around with it! Maybe not when carrying books though :) Feature packed game! Cool entry! I had drones in my game too, I wonder how many of us have them :D
I found the controls very good. Clicking on the packet was a bit strange. I instinctively wanted to press E. But after that it was easy to handle. The background seemed a bit dull. A sunset or starry sky would be a bit more pleasant. (I think because of the red to blue transition) and down by the grass you could have made it a bit mario like, half earth half grass (a bit lighter colours in general). The fact that you took the trouble to make an extra tutorial was great. In general I find it very solid.
A physics-based delivery game, just like mine :D The drone controls feel nice and intuitive, although picking up packages felt a bit strange - it is the only mouse interaction with the game (apart from the menu) and could as well be a key press. It would also be cool if the package was highlighted somehow when it can be picked - I ended up spamming mouse click while flying near it to actually pick it up.
It is hard to see where the destination for the package actually is while flying over the roofs, maybe a little arrow pointing to the destination would help?
This is really impressive. The graphics look great, especially for a Pygame game made in 48 hours. You should consider changing the control for picking up packages to a keypress, as it is strange having it as the only use of the mouse.
Really loved the voice lines. "Thank you mister delivery drone!" I ran out of power on the TTRPG books and plummeted out of the sky.
The drone felt just right to fly. I loved how the package swung from it. The mechanics were simple, but the game felt complete. This was a really good entry.
The game had a really sombre feeling. The light effects add a nice touch. Great tutorial. It's to the point and still fun to play.
My only nitpick is that I found the drone to be too low in the window when I was flying over homes to deliver the package, there was a lot of empty space above the drone, but In couldn't see where I was trying to land.
Thank you mister game developer
@tompudding sounds awesome
wow the control feels really nice
i would have loved some diversity on the level design (i know, time is flying)
Great work 👍
good game.
This was a fun game, and kudos for adding a tutorial. Loved the graphics and sound (especially the voices, although I heard "Hey! It's broken!" way too often ). Excellent work!
Thanks for the tutorial, so many games lack it, including mine. Cool and easy to understand interface. Also, nice to have free flight mode. IMO lacks a bit of level building but otherwise great entry.
These drone physics put real world drones to shame!
Really nice drone game! The physics feel satisfying and work well. I think having the package pickup and drop on a key as well would be better than on the mouse. I like that there is voice acting! Good job!
Very cool submission! I loved the different packages with weight and thrust helping with carrying capacity. Great job!
Nice style. It can be an interesting big game in future! Don't stop working on it please!
Really enjoyed this one! The voice acting was great and I wasn't ready for a box to suddenly contain glass and instantly broke it. You did a great job making sure different contents really felt like what they were.
Nice one! As others mentioned I really appreciated the tutorial as well. Voiceovers were funny and a nice touch. I think the game was straightforward all it might need is a little arrow/compass pointing to the delivery target, which can be hard to keep track of when flying high.
