This was a fun experience! I was late for the jump sadly, would have been awesome to do that jump at the ramp. I loved the radio, really funny and nice. I liked the mood too, impressive entry!

Hallå!
Great to see you in this Ludum Dare! Long time fan by now. Very interesting game idea you came up with, I liked it a lot. It became a little bit slow after a while, which also made it harder to remember all the stuff I had in my van. I should probably have used keys like the first letter of the item instead of ASDFG :) Great quality on the low poly assets, as expected! I maybe felt like the music didn't match the setting, but it was a nice tune!

Hey, awesome tutorial. That was very ambitious! And probably good because the controls were quite advanced! One problem I had was the camera. Most of the time I only was sky, but the interesting parts were further down on the ground, like house number and stuff. I think you managed to get a good feeling in the drone, it felt nice flying around with it! Maybe not when carrying books though :) Feature packed game! Cool entry! I had drones in my game too, I wonder how many of us have them :D
The trucks were cool. Well done with modelling! I would have expected a more brutal result when I got in front of them, hehe. The game didn't really progress, as far as I can tell. Maybe some more puzzling aspects could have spiced things up. Not sure what though! Aside from that it was a nice experience! Good job!
Oh what! This is crazy polished! Seems like you've learned some during those 3 years! Boy! I'm impressed, not sure I have anything to complain about. :)
Saw this on stream, very impressive. Didn't really understand how the balloons worked, but had great time delivering disks! Really impressive looks, did you got with a palette texture (this guy Imphenzia inspired me to start doing that and lowpoly stuff)? The camera took some time getting used to. I think someone said on stream that controlling camera with mouse would have been cool. Maybe the game could have gotten harder with time somehow, like disks spawning in weirder positions or deliveries to harder places. Not sure! Anyways, very impressive entry, well done!
@andreadbx Ah, I tried that out for some stuff that never became a game. The one I used went mostly from bright to dark. I would have loved a gradient palette with some blue-green, green-brown etc gradients. The technique has great potential! I've also played around with some palettes where you can set metallic/roughness and emission by positioning the UVs. Did you work with many individual materials for those settings or one for almost all with the same palette? Sorry for being technical here in the commect section, but it's interesting :D
I like the particles from the car, makes such impact! Good feeling driving around, although there was an awful lot of buildings and stuff to crash into :) It was very quiet, would have loved some tunes and SFX! Keep it up!
Hah, some QWOP light here :D Cool, I liked it. It maybe the brakes could have been slightly more potent, or some way to go backwards. His balance standing still was amazing btw! I never made the phone bigger, but there I could perhaps seen where to deliver my stuff? The sound when crashing was really funny, I liked the "death restart transition" a lot! Not much to complain about, it was a good game! Controls were perhaps a little spread out. Good job!
9250! Alright!
Although funny, the intro text felt a little too long. Maybe you could have had a TL;DR first, with only the controls? :) I kind of forgot when the shift ended, so a small marker on the clock could have helped me understand how much time was left. I liked the lowpoly clock otherwise, nice touch! The gameplay itself felt a little slow, like too much time was spent waiting for packages to land. The parachute could have been triggered much closer to the ground? And I didn't feel like I controlled the velocity of the van when catapulting it, could I do that somehow?
All in all, nice idea and execution!
Would have expected more Iron Maiden and possible Metallica too in this game :D It was interesting, I had a good time. One rough thing was that there was no indication of where the immune system would strike from. It felt like I did not really have any power over it as a player. Other than that I liked the animation when attacking stuff. Cool ambience and background. Something did not quite tile there though? Anyway, nice entry, well done!
Awesome game! Would have liked to hear/see what the computer said to me when I made an error, but I had no time! :) Really impressive what you achieved here, congratulations! Great sense of humor in this one!
Good job with the particles and explosions! It took quite a while for me to figure out what's what on the minimap. It made more sense after that. Very ambitious project, maybe a bit too advanced for me to grasp in a jam format. Also, a death screen would have been nice, I exploded and nothing happened :)
Cool effect for the rotary blades! The sound from the copter was super annoying to be honest. I think it sounds distorted or like a square wave or something. Would have been much more delightful to play if you had gone with a softer sound! I like the low poly style, you did very good with making all these assets! The egg could have had a few more polys actually, had to look up what it was =) I would have reduced specular on most materials, especially the grass. The stabilizer setting could have been remembered between the levels if you put it in a autoload script! I usually do that with everything that I think might be configurable by the player nowadays. If I create it early in the project and use it from the start it really saves a lot of trouble! A transition using the animation player for instance would have made it much more polished when finishing a level and selecting next. I could not find any flour bags, sadly. But had a good time til then, I really liked the feeling in the controls. Very ambitious and cool entry, well done!
Awesome music for this game! Loved the sound when one goes into the water too. I almost cramped up in left hand after 26 points. Maybe the crane could have gotten a larger... Hooh? After a while. Because larger and larger ships as progression started to feel like work work :D I would suggest enabling FXAA for less jagged edges on everything. It really makes a ton of difference at not that much performance cost. I think I saw some screenshot of the boxes on discord, fun to see that it turned into a nice game! Well done!
Wow, the ending (I think?) really got me! Just minding my own business, unloading some boxes and that shit happens! Nice little game! I felt like the mouse situation was a little weird. It both controlled the camera and was used for other stuff. Maybe being able to control the camera only while holding down would have made it feel more reasonable. Not sure, controls are hard! I could have liked the terrain heightmap to have solid colors just like the buildings I think. The tiling of the texture was very obvious and didn't match the cute lowpoly flatshaded style. Maybe even make the terrain with flat shading in blender? Good tutorial, that was nice. Keep it up!
Nice little game! Got 9 plants before being replaced. Cool menu and intro. The game loop got a bit repetitive after a while. Maybe some ability to carry multiple batteries or something could have made it more interesting. Music loop also got repetitive pretty fast, but very nice job with audio overall. Besides from controls it felt polished, nice with the arrows pointing towards the plants and those things. Good job!
Wow, what a product! Are you guys a "permanent team"? Nice starwars style intro! Very fancy with key rebinding and stuff. I'm such a bad platformer player, so I would have needed a checkpoint on level 3 (i think, the one that starts with a vertical platform that you must jump from and dash upwards). Cool with 2 axis dash, not sure I've played with that before, and I've been through 2 metroidvania jams, where almost every game features dash... :D Cool game, good job!
I want more!! Very cute bots, really like their charisma and that they make up the music together! Good robotic feel with that font too :) Would have been nice to learn the controls via short puzzles in the beginning instead of text. I think this has good potential, hope you make something more of it if you like the idea yourself!
What the heck did just happen! Man, this grade of polish, balancing and just awesome game in general in 48h! Wow, I must take a few deep breaths after finishing this! :D Ok, so this was easily the best game I played so far when testing. Things I would have liked to change: During tutorial, have the player shoot something to get next textbox, i had no time to read (very hard to read font, looked cool though) while trying to stay on the road. The music got repetitive quite fast, so it was very good that you had a variation of the theme while playing the game.
But man, I'm amazed at this game, you did something amazing here!
I unfortunately got stuck on the jumping. So small platforms, so capsule shaped collider and so little forgiveness. You did very very good with the presentation though, really nice graphics! Super impressive!
Such effective use of a few wellmade meshes! Wow, stunning visuals! I ran around searching for the next ghost to deliver, but only found 3. Old gramps, DJ and screen writer. The music fit very well but did get repetetive in my search of next ghost :D One of the most beautifully rendered games. Well done!
Oh the mood in this game! Everything went really well together, music, sounds were awesome and gorgeous looks! Impressive sky! Is that HDR? One thing I thought of is that I kept wanting to go faster! It would have been cool if the player kept the speed while being in the air, and then if you could time the landing maybe keep the speed until next jump and that way keep the speed up with some skill. The ending was really nice when it all slows down. That felt like a reward after delivering all the parts! Awesome work guys!
Ah, hard game! :D Really liked the lowpoly look, well done!
I think I found a way to kind of cheat the game :D Just flee all the time! Cute little game, reminds me of boardgames actually. It was a little hard to know what would be a good move during combat. Maybe some more transparency to the player about what the different actions do, like difference between attack and suppressing fire. The game could possibly have had more meaningful choices (taken from a book about looking at game design through different lenses, Jesse Schell). I think the music fit well to the feeling of the game! Well done with this game, quite advanced really!
Ah, good to find another shooter in this jam :D I didn't quite get the grappling mechanic. It didn't really stick to anything. Good shooting, well done!
This was something special! I first went wtf about the animations, but realized it was cool. Not sure I've seen these type of discrete animations in 3d before. I did not understand the fighting with the oar in the beginning. No indication of if I killed them or if they hit me. I guess I won, because I made it to the boat. Very cool water, is it a vertex shader of some sort? It looked like lots of polygons with smooth shading somehow, very nice to see new ways of making water! I'm not a big button masher fan, and after rowing around for a while I had like 10 dudes swimming after me, so I got to mash some serious buttons before I could continue. I think the game could have been more interesting without the fighting actually, because the setting is strong, good mood. I would have liked to go around in peace looking for lost souls. I did not figure out where to go with my ghosts though... Very interesting game, very impressive!
@purpledartfrog haha got me. Totally, it's maybe five layers of "pschhhh" in my headset >.< I do prefer crappy SFX with a volume slider before a quiet game I have come to realize.
@thatgreekguy haha, yeeeah. I had it on my list of improvements, but at least your standing in the back of your red truck, where the net gun is mounted :-D
Nice low poly style! The game is a little quiet and has strange controls. It was also a bit of a surprise that there were 2 post offices in town? :D Could not find any packages at first, but then they appeared. Keep it up!
Yes! Roborally hostage drama! I had fun trying to figure out how to solve the situations. It didn't occur to me how rockets work until I made a mistake and fininshed the level anyway :D Some more transparens to the player about the rules, like number of shots in the MG mag and also how many rockets if you mount the launcher. It was a little quiet in the game, but I guess you had no time to fix music and more ambience. Drag and drop on the commands would have made life easier! All in all, this was fun, and I liked the puzzle solving.
Awesome feeling when you make that first interaction, which is when you can start playing music in webgl :D Felt really nice when that music started. I had a hard time making the box stop up on the plateau. Cool mechanic with the wire! This was not an easy game! =)
Cool game! Perfect for the theme! I didn't fail even once though, haha. But I had a good time playing it, looked really good. Especially considering the limitations of godot4 in browser. Well done! Very funny menu with the head bobbing! XD
137s! But I played a few of the levels yesterday, so it does not count :) Great game, very good polish, all actions have sounds to them, nice music. Very impressive! Would have loved a few more levels!
Ah, I had some real beginner's luck here! Got 16 first time and could not beat it in three more attempts! What's your best score? :) It sometimes felt a bit unclear what made the walls close in. If I missed a dash it sometimes made them move faster. I think it was an original game with some nice theme connection to it.
They do try to attack when you are close to the darkness, them opportunists! Glad you found a way to beat them :-)
Wow that was so many kind words there! So glad you enjoyed the game! I struggled a bit with music, I'm trying to get used to ableton.
The moving tutorials was a bad choice 😆 I like having in game tutorials, but the pixelation and movement really bombed it this time!
Very valid points! Thanks for playing!
I beat the B-sides! I was getting worried with all the shapes on the last puzzle, but it was alright =) Very nice puzzler. The jumping could have felt better, the music could have looped better (look who's talking, music went really bad for me this time). Very calm and nice vibe of the game while puzzling. Really well designed and well made. Great job!
