I enjoyed the graphics and the music, but the controls are really weird on when the press down the keys to pedal. I ended up crashing more than I wanted :id:
Good game.

Good game.
The controls were really weird at first but I got used to it. Really like the graphics and music. Fun little game!
Hah, some QWOP light here :D Cool, I liked it. It maybe the brakes could have been slightly more potent, or some way to go backwards. His balance standing still was amazing btw! I never made the phone bigger, but there I could perhaps seen where to deliver my stuff? The sound when crashing was really funny, I liked the "death restart transition" a lot! Not much to complain about, it was a good game! Controls were perhaps a little spread out. Good job!
The controls took some time to figure out, but once I saw the buttons corresponding to which foot I need to press down in my guy's animation, it clicked. The ragdoll when you crash is hilarious, and I love the low poly character as a whole! I recorded myself playing so I could provide maximum feedback:

A bit of qwop feelings, but on a bike!
I liked the weird controls, the animations and the cleaness of the project. I wish there were a little arrow pointing to the next direction because I spent a lot of time wandering in the city, trying to find my next target. I would love to see something like this, but more speed focused! Like an infinite runner where you have to go as fast as possible while taking and giving deliveries on the run!
Anyway, good work!
Good vibes. Once I got the hang of it I had a jolly nice time. It was smooth and enjoyable to play. If I were to suggest improvements I would say putting your foot down when stopped could allow you to turn your bike around before setting off again. Also I would make the breaks more effective. All round though an impressive amount achieved. KUDOS
I played version 1.0.1 to get the compo experience. Pedalling around was really fun. I think you captured the feel pretty well between the acceleration and leg animations. I frequently used the bell. It deepens the experience. I understand the full screen phone improvement in 1.1.1, but I enjoyed searching for the tokens. The map was small enought that I'd find them quickly. I think the game could be improved by listing the deliveries and deliverables somewhere on screen. This was great.
Loved the atmosphere and bike mechanics! The music was superb. The whole thing reminded me of A Short Hike and Untitled Goose Game. If there was controller support, I'd play a full game (not randomly generated) of just biking around to different areas. Great job!
The movement took a minute to figure out but once I did it actually felt very interesting and enjoyed it. Would love to see some kind of scoring system (if there is one I did not see where it was) but overall, great submission!
Clever mechanics and cool game. I like how you managed the bicycle movement. At first, it was not easy, but after a while I was able to go faster. Your project fits with the theme. I don't know how you created the music, but it is amazing. It could be a really good game if you continue to develop it. Just one question - is there a way to use brakes? Thank you for this entry. I wish you the best ++
Hey @geckoo1337 thank you for your kind words! Music is actually using MuseScore - a music sheet editor, that allows exporting to MIDI. That's usually how I do it, probably not the fastest way, but I'm used to working with that tool so it works for me :D
And yes, you can brake by holding the right mouse button. Sorry if that was not clear...
Thanks!
I like it. There's a lot of arcade games which are centrally focused on making deliveries, but the bike controls, the physics, and the overall presentation make it stand out.
This is great! Everything works pretty well. I love the bell and I like that the D and F actually correspond to where your feet are on the bike. Ragdoll physics when you crash is a nice touch. I would consider moving the phone control to spacebar so you can look at your phone while biking, even though the employee guide says not to :)
Having to come to a stop kind of harmed the flow of getting up to speed, but certainly an impressive entry.
This was a nice entry. As people have said, it really takes some time to get used to controls, but once you do it's actually intuitive. Also it took me some time to figure out you can hold the pedal keys, which is super nice. It also took me some time to figure out how to pick up orders and where to deliver them, I was super confused for a while. The presentation is great, especially for a compo game and failing never felt too frustrating because it was so damn funny. Great job, great entry!
The controls are hilarious and I love them! Really good music too. It was fun to play. Great job and really impressive for a Compo!
