Amazing game ! it become quite a mayhem after some time and I love it! Good job
What the heck did just happen! Man, this grade of polish, balancing and just awesome game in general in 48h! Wow, I must take a few deep breaths after finishing this! :D Ok, so this was easily the best game I played so far when testing. Things I would have liked to change: During tutorial, have the player shoot something to get next textbox, i had no time to read (very hard to read font, looked cool though) while trying to stay on the road. The music got repetitive quite fast, so it was very good that you had a variation of the theme while playing the game.
But man, I'm amazed at this game, you did something amazing here!
Incredible game. I'm honestly quite baffled this is a compo entry - well done! If I had one criticism it would be the difficult-to-read font choice and the fact that we're not given any control as to when we're done reading a given text box. However, the graphics, audio, enemy AI, humour, and overall presentation is absolutely top-notch. Fantastic work.
HA! that was fantastic, I was like "oh cool that was a fun little game" then all hell broke out and it became such a hectic thrill
That was AWESOME! Just perfect game, gameplay dificult is allways rise, final run was super good)) nice graphics and music. It's so dynamic)) the only thing is the training is too long
Exciting! I like the cinematic intro and fast speed scene. Well done!
This is amazing - the level of polish of having a tutorial, cutscenes, a minimap, bgm, and everything was great. I can see this sitting right at home with the fun flash games that I played when I was kid. Can't believe that this was all put together in 48 hours. The controls were really fun and the gear shifting mechanic tied with the reload worked surprisingly well. Well done!
Very cool game, shooting some stuff down is always fun to play! I esp. liked the little bouncing effects when turning right and left with the truck and also the reaction of the trolley. The Camera Shakings were also on sport. Really nice polishing there. Was a very cool feeling. Two simple things as slightly improvement. A skip button for the Story Cards (For people like me who don't really enjoy stories) and a pause option (I had a few interruptions and could have made use of it). I agree with what others mentioned already that a better to read font and a shorter tutorial would have been helpful.
Truly impressive! This is not only a polised game with a good gameplay - it manage to deliver quite a few surprises! I really enjoyed the second part of the trip, as well as enemy variety and chosen artstyle overall.
I enjoyed the game, very well done! everything felt very polished. At the and I lost and got killed when driving back with the speedster due to too many enemies spawning and reducing FPS to 0 xD. Other than that the game was super fun!
Amazingly polished entry! Congrats! I tried to rush the last level but it became imposible with so many enemies hanging my PC xDD but apart from that awesome game!
My only (other) complain would be that some times the texts in the tutorial and game were too fast or combined with some ongoing action and I missed some of the messages ^^U
This game has everything I love in video games: bullets, explosions, speed, humor... what a blast. The final gameplay sequence was such a fun and exciting twist. The difficulty was expertly tuned, which is always a challenge when it comes to jam games. Great work!!

Pretty cool. Feels like a classic flash game and is generally more polished and complete feeling than most compo games. I had some issues related to me not understanding the gear shift mechanic and how it affected ammo, but I guess that's down to me being an idiot and not reading the tutorial (I didn't look very closely at the map and just went straight into the first level lol). As other people have said, the font is pretty unreadable, especially considering how fast some of the messages go.
Really fun game. The walkthrough in the tutorial was hilarious! The tone of the instructions just kept me laughing. That's some good writing.
I love that you really made the story the backdrop to be sure but wholeheartedly took the approach of "yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm just here to go fast and go BRRR BRRR BRRR with my gatling gun, let's get it"
While I loved the tutorial it felt it went to fast to read at times. Maybe having a keypress to go to the next section could be helpful.
Thank you for making this!
I really enjoyed this one. The story (especially the hand-waving of the main game mechanic) was entertaining and the music set a great mood. The art style was great and reminded me of the days of flash games. I played all the way through and especially loved the escape sequence at the end. Well done.
