LD51 — Every 10 seconds

More than one leek pancake by NoSLoofah 2022-10-09T01:42:56Z

This game was really fun to play! I love the story and why the son explodes every 10 seconds. There was certainly a level of difficulty that made this a challenge, but not _too_ challenging to seem impossible.

I would probably play this again.

Floppy Fish by Pyspher9 2022-10-06T03:15:03Z

Thanks for the feedback everyone! @zachary-shah, yeah we originally did want to add sharp trash in the water to dodge periodically to force you to go above water for a bit, but it fell into the stretch goals category.

Floppy Fish by Pyspher9 2022-10-12T03:28:37Z

@skullsprigs, Thanks for the feedback! We've been hearing about the controls and we're really glad to know that you and several others are enjoying! Also yay that you winned!

Floppy Fish by Pyspher9 2022-10-12T03:30:39Z

@chemicalcrux, yeah I agree we could have made it a little harder to get back into the water, but we were lucky to not have our trash platforms floating off into space! haha

We'll keep the challenge in mind in the future. Thanks for playing!

Floppy Fish by Pyspher9 2022-10-17T16:49:42Z

Thanks @ratrat44! Yeah you're right, the game is kind of easy. IN the next jam we will probably be able to make the gameplay a little harder. We actually all learned Godot a few days before the jam started so we were still learning some things along the way. We'll work on the player experience for next time!

LD52 — Harvest

Elonkorjuu - Live Harvest by Tutti Ankka 2023-01-14T04:42:48Z

This game is great. The art style is iconic. The 2D in a 3D world and having pretty much everything in black and white was captivating to watch. It really forced me to see the depth and texture of the world. Not to mention, the fact that you added the ability to add your own levels is not only innovative but visionary!

HELLGATE HARVEST by kodingnights 2023-01-18T05:11:56Z

I have played the original and also the polished version. I can see that there has been some improvement with the timing indicators with the polished version but even with the indication lines, there was no real regular indication of the music moving forward, for instance only seeing lines when "measures" were playing. During rests the lines would go away so the visual frame of reference I had made went away.

Ways to improve this could be: - Always have a measure line at the beginning of every measure, whether you're playing or not - Make the notes/people be viewed from a more top down perspective so that it is easier to tell where notes should be played

This was an ambitious game and I applaud you for taking it on. However, I quickly realized that it didn't matter if I played correctly or not, the music kept playing just the same. I was able to repeatedly tap all of the buttons all the time and hit everything, even if there wasn't a note to play. I wasn't penalized at all for missing, aside from losing a hit streak, but that didn't seem to be too big of a deal.

Ways to improve this could be: - Hurt me is I miss too much, if the visuals are helpful enough that I can see what and when I'm supposed to play, then having the game end for missing notes too much would make sense - If it is too difficult to make an actual note-for-note play on button presses while tracking with the music, you may consider muting the music altogether until I start playing right.

Keep it up and thanks for making this!

Galactic Garden by MartensCedric 2023-01-18T04:38:44Z

This is a solid game through and through. It actually even plays on Linux! Kudos to you for that!

The storyline kept me chuckling and the artwork over all is good.

I found myself, however, wanting more contrast between the background and the crow ships. The off-camera locators were really helpful but the ships themselves could be hard to see at times.

The ability to zoom in and out was helpful, but zooming out quickly became less helpful as the shapes began to fade into each other. I could still basically make out what was going on, but the objects blended a little much.

There were a lot of weapons, and I'm not really sure how I could unlock them all. Also, it was difficult to keep track of crops I was trying to bank on asteroids. I can see that that is part of the game, but I could hardly plan a bumper crop for defense.

Aside from that, I still had a fun time playing this game and think that you did a really good job!

Flee the Farmland by Chartle 2023-01-14T04:29:33Z

You guys did a good job! Each animal brought it's own challenge and I liked that depth. Also, what on earth is Harv doing having that many clones of himself? Surely that's how he's so productive, but surely that's not right.

Fallowtide by Jeremy Ryan 2023-01-11T05:47:46Z

This was a great game! I loved the audio for real for real. Also the mood of this game was really unique: very moody but also really chill.

The interactive and dynamic puzzle mechanic was really unique, and it really shows off your skill because of how complex the flow is. The transitions from playing a card to showing the crops was smooth and I loved to watch it.

You're doing great work! Keep it up

H.A.R.V.E.S.T. Harvest And Recon by kr4ft3r 2023-01-12T04:42:15Z

This was certainly an interesting take on the theme. The controls are definitely a challenge, not having any way to go down left me feeling like I was just hanging for too long.

The ship looks pretty cool though! Interesting idea to put the camera on the tail.

Cute Baby Animal Organ Harvesting Simulator by TheOtherSamP 2023-01-12T15:32:56Z

This game is off the rails lol. It's hilarious to play, but I must say having the screams play nonstop was just really grating and became too hard for me to keep playing. It seems a little hard to pick up the blood, I still can't tell if I got any or not.

Having the blood never end seems a little much as well. The game could go on forever with endless screams and blood particles.

I think the joke of the game is pretty hilarious though. Thanks for making this game!

Hamster Hangry by BytingGames 2023-01-12T04:53:23Z

This was a pretty fun game to play. I have to say, I found myself feeling the urgency to just rush through and grab as many seeds as I could. The original Wolfenstein feel is pretty fun because you're a hamster.

Was not too challenging, but was enjoyable overall.

I do think making combat a little more difficult could enhance the experience.

Automatoes by Cievers 2023-01-12T05:03:01Z

Big mood. No doubt about that.

This is a beautiful game to look at and listen to. Very chill and that is honestly a refreshing change of pace from the soul reaper type games from this jam.

Super Plantoid by dans17 2023-01-14T00:36:33Z

First of all, the art, music, and sound effects are absolutely stellar. From the player's manual to the in-game art, everything looks in its place and is amazing while its there. The music is provoking, mysterious, and exciting. I love listening to what you've made.

Overall, the gameplay is really smooth; however, I don't seem to be able to interact with anything. The first pumpkin enemy was impassable and I couldn't figure out how to drop through the floor, use the wispy light thing you see on the first hill or go back or anything. I tried on keyboard and mouse as well as an Xbox controller.

Am I missing something?

EDIT: I see now that you're working on a fix, but hopefully my feedback helps find the issue

Barvest: The Iconic Bug Harvest of 2005 by picross 2023-01-14T04:04:15Z

This was a really chill and enjoyable play. I really wished I could climb on the walls, but I can understand why that wasn't a part of the gameplay. I loved the mechanic for swinging from platform to platform and the capturing of the bugs reminded me of Star Wars Rouge Squadron when you wrap an AT-AT, so that was fun.

I really wanted to finish this, and made it quite a ways, but having the bugs you're catching "hurt" you so that you start over from the last checkpoint, while challenging, became a little frustrating farther into the game.

All in all though, this was still fun! Playing an actual spider was really cool and you all did a good job on the leg animations, as well as the physics of how all the parts of the spider moved when flying or falling.

Charles, the Bee by Blue Pin Studio 2023-01-18T04:11:10Z

Charles the Bee is a fun game to play over all. I loved the multiple steps of each level. The music was great and the collecting portion was really peaceful.

Somethings to point out though:

- ๐Ÿง I tried to run this on Linux, but it looks like the .zip for the Linux download is actually the web version. That might be as intended, but I was expecting a Linux binary to run. - ๐ŸNeeding to collect more pollen by another 100 per level started to get a little old when I had to collect 300 pollen. Not enough to quit, but enough to feel it. - ๐ŸŒธGiving the entry pollen to the flower club seemed to take way too long. Maybe it was for allowing us to hear more of the music, but it felt like an eternity by level 3. - ๐Ÿ•บProbably just on me but it was pretty difficult to translate the dance directions to buttons, especially since they are vertically oriented and all very similar in shape and color.

Other than those things however, the artwork was great and it is amazing that you all were able to produce 3 distinct levels, each with 3 scenes and still have the ability to have a start screen, dance-off entry and exit screens, and a credits reel.

Be proud of what you've built!

P.S. "Not Play" is hilarious ๐Ÿคฃ

Harvest "Harvest Simulator" Simulator by spyranteros 2023-01-18T04:51:11Z

This was difficult to play all in all. I read through the directions about having to move fast, but even after not moving at all, the reaper's hand, the chains, and the tractor/chainsaw/combine? thing would snap into each other and start flying around the screen.

I tried a couple of times and after I got a small glimmer of hope that I could move the hand with my mouse I noticed that it seems like there might be a constant force pushing the hand up and to the right or that the origin of the Hand scene and the global position of the mouse are offset by a lot.

Sorry, I tried several times!

Harvestigator: An IRS Tax Auditing Game by crow_seeds 2023-01-14T03:40:38Z

This game is phenomenal! I had so much fun playing it. You really captured the paperwork experience and made it fun!

The writing for the characters was so well done and witty. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this game.

One piece of feedback I do have is to maybe use a pop-filter when recording. Some of the monkey's noises were really boomy and airy.

One more thing that you guys get a star for is the replayability! I've played this a few times on story mode and the audits were different each time. That in itself is quite the herculean feat, and you all should be proud of yourselves. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Turbo Trash Truck by Korvack 2023-01-14T04:17:00Z

This game is really fun and well done overall. You really did a good job on making the challenging, but still achievable. I mean... I didn't win, but I'm sure you could if you tried hard enough.

The humor in this game is great! I also love how you made the turbo trash truck have several tools at its disposal to collect the harvest, it wasn't just about driving the truck around.

It cracked me up when my garbage helper man picked up a car and brought it back to me to incinerate! ๐Ÿคฃ Also, my goodness, this town has far too many magnetic couches just lying about in the street. No wonder the president is showing up to assess the situation.

You're right Mr. President, my city _is_ disgusting. Thank you, sir. ๐Ÿซก

Poo Farmer by Pyspher9 2023-01-11T05:21:26Z

@jeremy-ryan thank you so much for your feedback! I am so glad you enjoyed the game.

Good catch on the goblins getting stuck on animals. We noticed that as well and have a patch coming tonight to fix it. They will also be faster.

Poo Farmer by Pyspher9 2023-01-11T05:22:45Z

@gunther, I love that you love our audio. I actually voice acted all of the sound effects for this and so I am double glad that you enjoyed it.

Poo Farmer by Pyspher9 2023-01-11T05:23:25Z

@lambda340, agreed, spawn timers definitely need some tweaking.

Poo Farmer by Pyspher9 2023-01-11T05:28:37Z

@oxxar your "health" is really the poo amount you have left in the silo. If the amount gets back down to zero, the game is over because you failed to protect the poo harvest.

Poo Farmer by Pyspher9 2023-01-14T03:41:29Z

@helen good job! We found it was pretty challenging at about wave 4! Thanks for playing!

Poo Farmer by Pyspher9 2023-01-14T03:43:36Z

@kr4ft3r, finally someone who understands the dreadful things we have to deal with every season. It's just not getting enough bard coverage these days. I think we're becoming more and more like the Time Before every day.

Thanks for playing!

Poo Farmer by Pyspher9 2023-01-14T03:49:01Z

@benk, thanks for your feedback. Early on we had made the Scatling gun easier to get and had the railgun as the most expensive weapon, but found that the Scatling gun actually seemed too easy to get for the power it offered. We ended up trying to make things a little more expensive and rearrange the value of the weapon to make the gameplay feel a little more balanced. Definitely could iterate on the economic balance though.

I did try to add some variety to the animal sounds by giving them different pitches from a pool of poo sounds according to their size and each animal had several sounds as well, but you're right, the poo sounds could have been a little more varied.

Honestly, after a few recordings I was crying laughing that I was actually even doing the poo noises, so I had to take a break lol. I mainly wanted it to be a joke, but more importantly to help give the player a way to hear where to find some poo if they were low and didn't see any.

Poo Farmer by Pyspher9 2023-01-14T03:49:26Z

@moonlightbomber, honored

Poo Farmer by Pyspher9 2023-01-14T04:58:52Z

@jonathan-baldwin, thanks for playing! Good point on the gun switch sound. There is a sound there, but it wasn't until after we published that we noticed it was teeny tiny and really hard to hear. Sorry it wasn't as noticeable as it could be.

Yeah the goblins are after the poo in your silo, some of the poo in the field, and also poo in your pockets!

Skooma Simulator by primateprime 2023-01-14T04:55:26Z

This was pretty fun. Making the Skooma was a challenge in itself but having the guards come by randomly heightened the challenge. The way you interact with the world was a really neat idea. Really made me have to look closer at what was around me and take inventory.

One thing I would say that wasn't clear to me was that I had to move the bookcase when the guards came in. I had to be right on top of the bookcase to even see that there was something to interact with.

I loved your adaptation of the music too. Good job! Thanks for making this!

Corn Horror Harvest by Rhum 2023-01-12T04:27:56Z

This was an interesting game to play and I loved the twist on the theme. The commerce system was pretty innovative to allow the player to choose not only what enemies they fought but what currency they would receive. This left it up to the player to build their character how they wanted.

Loved the creepy vibes too

Boar'd'Hell by Blublu 2023-01-12T04:17:04Z

This was pretty fun. It's going to take me a couple tries to get the flow down for controlling each tractor, but the challenge is refreshing!

Not to mention that this game is pretty hilarious.

Bean Farmer Extreme 2 by bytecauldron 2023-01-11T06:15:00Z

This game is definitely a challenge, but I was always having fun. The massive amount of birds made the gameplay really intense and I found myself laughing at just how fun it was.

One suggestion would be to improve the notification to the player that they need to be _under_ the power ups and hit `E` to select them. I got stuck there for a little bit

LD53 — Delivery

Parcel Blaster 2099 by graebor 2023-05-05T01:51:08Z

You did really great on this! I had a lot of fun playing this. You took really good care to make a consistently fun and challenging game loop. Your graphics are good, your physics are good, audio is good! This was very well rounded and I found myself playing several times to try and beat my high score.

Thanks for making this!

D.I.Y Deliver it yourself by mechanicallife 2023-05-13T03:35:13Z

I can tell that you all put a lot of effort into this. This game is well done and fun. The fact that you even had a level editor was amazing! I tried to level editor first because I didn't know what it was and I was really confused about what was happening and what any of the pieces did. The directions were also kind of hard to read there. The menu and notification sound was little overdone.

Something that seemed off was, I was able to run out of time and still complete my delivery on the first level by skidding through the goal. Also if I ran out of time and _then_ dropped my package, I would get the notification for both. I feel like one was enough.

However, all of that being said, I still love this game. The physics feel really smooth and I can see that you all took "speed run" head on and really used the physics to bring out a challenging speed runner game that keeps you trying to get a better time.

Music was interesting too! Thank you all for taking the time to make this!

Holding Out by Jeremy Ryan 2023-05-03T04:00:12Z

I absolutely love this game. Like, what a brilliant twist on the theme too! Your embedded control help was beautiful. I really appreciate the work you put into your artwork and humorous dialog. I just love having to stay on hold as the foil for trying to survive a zombie apocalypse.

You made the controls really simple to use and I feel like the balancing of having ammo and staying on hold was perfectly timed. I don't know how you did it, but it resulted in really smooth gameplay that still felt like a fun challenge.

I appreciate your hold music as well. That's a good representation!

Thanks for making this, I'm definitely going to be keeping this one around.

Holding Out by Jeremy Ryan 2023-05-03T04:15:49Z

Oh my goodness I played it again and I won! I won't give anything away, but that is the perfect touch.

Silence is just a pipe dream by Antsa 2023-05-13T01:44:56Z

Graphics looked really great! I appreciated how the music got louder the closer you got to the house. The navigation was kind of strange at first but I got the hang of it pretty quick. Reminded me a lot of Myst. The puzzle solving was a nice touch.

Mission Delete by jordantanner 2023-05-13T01:35:07Z

Fantastic! This game is absolutely insane! The music and sound effects were so great to listen to. The game play was pretty fun too. I just kept being able to get more upgrades and get more upgrades! I was really thankful for them after there were so many enemies. I was a big fan of the Fan of Death, but then once I was able to shoot in all directions at once, it really kicked it up a notch.

I appreciate how you made the game more challenging even though the player can upgrade so fast.

Some things I noticed that could improve are: - Sometimes I would upgrade and immediately downgrade again because I didn't realize I dropped the other upgrade from before and then moved right back over it. Perhaps the previous upgrades could just be consumed and done? - Once I was able to shoot in all directions with 2 tiers of weapons it was really an awesome experience, but the colors kind of blended too much with the package I was protecting and it would get lost.

Thanks for making this awesome game!

Mercenary Pigeon by Ty Victorson 2023-05-05T01:42:01Z

Hey thanks for making this game! I think the concept is fun and its pretty funny to think about putting a gun on a pigeon and training it to use it in combat.

I did run into a few issues though. First, I wish I had a way to pause or view the controls while playing the game. Early on during the first mission I couldn't pick up the medpack and I wasn't sure if I was missing the item or just not hitting the right control. It's helpful to have the controls on the page here, but since the game launched in fullscreen and I had no way to pause it was hard to get back to the controls list during gameplay.

Secondly, it was fun to fly around in the trenches but there were a few times that it seemed like the collider around the pigeon was running into things even when the pigeon itself was not touching anything. I really noticed it when flying through a tunnel or into a tent and it was like I got hung up on the ceiling.

Having some background music could really elevate the experience too.

All in all, thanks for sharing this! Keep it up!

All Odium Needs Is Love! by Skvader_418 2023-05-13T04:12:39Z

Fun game and nice take on the theme! Aiming near walls seemed a little too difficult though, like the hearts would hit a wall that wasn't there visually. Maybe smaller hitboxes on the walls or hearts could help.

I found myself wishing for fullscreen too, because there were times I clicked out of the game window while playing and ended up losing.

Also I absolutely love that the people outside of Odium are the "model citizens" lol

Thanks for making this!

CURSED DE-LIVERY ๐Ÿ’€ by Usenrame 2023-05-13T03:43:17Z

Really good job on the graphics! I love the lo-fi 3D feel of it. I appreciate the Halo CE inspiration and I found myself thinking of Star Citizen as well.

I'll be honest though, I'm still trying to figure out the last part. Having to wait for such a long journey is hilarious though!

Eyes of Odin by Rocket and Blanky 2023-05-05T01:59:41Z

Pretty cool concept. You all did a good job on the story. There were a couple of things I ran into though. I found that I could fly upside down lol so that was fun. I could also fly through a few of the towers and on the last tower back to Ogfrid I crashed into his tower and the art showed the splatted raven, but the audio was saying that I won and the raven was pecking some bits of meat.

Thanks for making this game!

catchaHook by TTU_HASAN 2023-05-13T02:43:17Z

Thanks for making this! I did find the tutorial helpful at bare minimum but having the boxes generate the moment the hooks start swinging again was a little jarring. This is definitely on theme though I wish that I could have had more effect from gravity as though I were swinging from hook to hook.

Thanks again for sharing and being a part of the jam!

Sick Day Delivery by Pyspher9 2023-05-03T03:35:41Z

Hey thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it.

Sick Day Delivery by Pyspher9 2023-05-03T14:03:03Z

@catbutt thanks for playing! Hmm, that's odd we had embedded the PCK and hadn't noticed that issue in testing. Sorry for the inconvenience!

@alisher_fazilov thank you! I had a lot of fun making the sound effects but especially the song! I had just made a demo with my voice only and sent it to the rest of the team and then tried to make actual instrumentation, but they all said they liked the demo better so I went with it. It was a lot of fun.

@filgreen3 thanks for playing!

Apocalypse Express by Cosmo8 2023-05-13T04:36:56Z

Really fun game. The walkthrough in the tutorial was hilarious! The tone of the instructions just kept me laughing. That's some good writing.

I love that you really made the story the backdrop to be sure but wholeheartedly took the approach of "yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm just here to go fast and go BRRR BRRR BRRR with my gatling gun, let's get it"

While I loved the tutorial it felt it went to fast to read at times. Maybe having a keypress to go to the next section could be helpful.

Thank you for making this!

Vanslaughter Inc: Extreme Parcel Service by Alec Cunningham 2023-05-13T02:54:13Z

haha! This is a pretty funny game, thanks for creating this and sharing. Yeah, the starting screen with the face was pretty terrifying, but it fits the vibe so I dig it.

I still can't be sure if I'm supposed to just be launching these packages into the buildings or trying to hit mailboxes, so if there were some prep or tutorial, that would be helpful.

I flipped over on the side at one point and I could still launch boxes, which was fun, but I kind of wish I had a way to flip back over before a ramp though. The NPC cars driving all over the place was hilarious.

Also I don't know if anyone else had this issue, but I had to try to extract the zip file several times before it would work. I'm on Windows 11 and each time the extraction had a problem it was something about the .exe. I can't tell if it was a character in the filename or what.

Thanks again for making this!

YouHave10sec by Xamora 2023-05-05T02:08:12Z

This is definitely reminiscent of LD Jam 51. You definitely did a good job making the game more challenging as it went on. Epilepsy mode was interesting. I could only make it to round 6!

Mission 404 - Delivery by Ruby Mayrio 2023-05-03T04:28:31Z

I like the concept of the agent delivering the robot, but the controls were a little difficult to use. At times I felt like the game was trying to do the thinking for me on what I should do and that I really didn't have much control. For example, the character continues to walk for a few moments after I stop pressing the movement keys. There were also times that the character just began jumping and I still have no idea why.

When the robot got stuck on a car it was really difficult to get them off of the car. I also felt like I died way too easy because I was leaping into mailboxes and couldn't control it.

Here are a few things that I think could have helped.

1. Changing the field of view some more as you get behind the robot so that you can still see yourself, the road, and the robot. 2. Providing more controls so that the player moves when they want to move and jump when they want to move. Perhaps a modifier key for jumping/diving, like pressing Shift. 3. Providing another key for grabbing onto the robot so that the player can decide when they want to act on the robot, and that could also open up the possibility for pulling when there is no space for pushing.

Overall, this is a cool take on the theme and I love the beachy agent aesthetic. Thanks for making this!

Baby Bots by Congeesetador 2023-05-03T03:44:11Z

This was a really great game all in all for your first ever game!

I think you did a really good job about breaking the monotony and upping the challenge at just the right time. I won't spend too much time on the baby indicator, since others have already covered it. But getting a little more feedback for when I dropped a baby off would be helpful. The score going up definitely helps, but when I'm focused on just getting babies out, having a little sound or flash on the baby drop off spot could have helped me know that I actually did drop off a baby.

Even though you said you weren't quite comfortable with your art, I can tell that you gave it a good effort. I appreciate that there were so many different kinds of babies. You really took the time to make the game interesting even if you were still learning the platform. Keep that quality, because it will only stand to serve you better as you grow in your confidence.

Keep it up!

Beat Boxes by PonyGirlLuna 2023-05-03T04:54:02Z

This is a great game! Everything looks beautiful, from the excellent lighting to the cursor flashing rainbow as you move around the room. This has a great aesthetic. I also loved that you can move the cursor into the trucks. That was just funny, like you're dancing around inside a truck as a little rainbow sprite or something.

The music was fun too and you did a good job of syncing the visuals with the music, as a musician I really appreciated that touch.

However, at times it was hard for me to keep my eye on the cursor and I would end up missing boxes because I couldn't see where the cursor was. I think the main contributor to that was having the accuracy feedback message right over the cursor. I would lose the dot under all the text. Maybe it could benefit from some feedback when the cursor enters and leaves the playable area that sends boxes to their trucks. Like perhaps the world shakes briefly and there's a subtle bump noise as the cursor passes the threshold.

I still enjoyed playing this! Thank you for sharing this with us all!

Becasse against the depths by Norah 2023-05-13T04:54:58Z

Great visuals! Great gameplay! Like, it was actually innovative to have the "how to do things" just be part of the game and exploring. At first I was like "oh gosh, so much reading", but I quickly grew to love it because there is a lot of good content in the reading. The take on the theme is unique and graphics were awesome. Your shading work was stellar!

While the music was exactly on theme with the aesthetic of the game, I wish it were more interesting to listen to. I felt the phrasing was a bit too short and the repetition began to be a little much. However, even though I wish the music was more interesting, the story and the gameplay were rewarding enough to make this game stand out.

The concept of this game is pretty funny! Maybe it was my machine, but while I was playing there was this constant jarring clicking sound like something was hitting the walls but I wasn't moving anything. Also the movement was really jumpy.

Took me a while to figure out what was going on and it was really difficult to know where I should put the boxes on the second level.

Thanks for making this and letting us play it!

Bravo! Bravo! This is a great game! You all did a wonderful job in making the environments interesting and used them well for the stealth gameplay. I do have to say as well that the fact that you were able to have music that wasn't just in the background, but also drew me into the emotion of the level is an expert touch. Not only that but having the music progress through the levels, I am impressed. Keep that up because that's some good stuff!

The perspective and having 3D and 2D elements together made this game visually appealing too. The story never felt like an afterthought. I loved getting to know Cason as a character through his thoughts to himself and also through what he said to the baby. Good writing!

Having to keep from getting caught while also keeping a baby calm so that you could _do_ that made this a fun challenge.

Here are some bumps I did run into though: - the male infected did not seem to respond as well and my "Sighted" indicator would flicker several times while I was in line of sight - There were a few times the infected seemed to be able to attack me through barricades - At times it was difficult to navigate around the walls or barricades like I was hitting the hitboxes when I shouldn't be. I mean, I get that those obstacles are part of the intended gameplay, but toward the end there were times it felt harder than it should be.

Again, bravo! I loved playing this!
