Well that's one way to deliver a box. About didn't seem to work, and had to Alt-f4 to quit.

@cinterre Yeah I did not have enough time to implement the escape menu. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
the box keeps disappearing on me
Cool idea, I wish there was more exploration on different mechanics.
a tutorial will be nice. and a crosshair to see where i am facing. Really fun to break the environment around.
My GPU is pinned at 100% and its just a simple house on a plane. Also, the box disappeared.
@helekopeter This game uses Unreal Engine 5, and I did not have enough time to change the settings, so that is why it is laggy. I did not see any evidence of the box disappearing during testing, I will try to reproduce and fix that as soon as possible. I am sorry for any inconvenience.
The premise sounds quite fun, and could be fun with a lot more polish. As mentioned by others, there is quite a bit of lag and whenever you walk into the boxes they fly away and disappear. Breaking stuff is always fun, so nice attempt :)
That was crazy! The fast-paced gameplay and explosive effects kept me on the edge of my seat.
Took me a while to figure out that I had to hold the mouse button to hold the package :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: The sound of the boxes colliding got a little grating after a while. That said, it held me enough to see it through to the end so it was definitely entertaining :metal:
As others have mentioned, this game would benefit heavily from some polishing. The frame drops are very noticeable even on high end systems. I also kept clicking the box instead of click-holding, which made it disappear and got me stuck in the level with no way out or anything to do.
I think the concept can work though, as you can tell where you were trying to go with the idea. I'd say stay at it, give it some polish and release a post LD version to address to frame drops and adding a menu :)
Well, destruction of the house was cool) other than that didn't really find the way this game should be played. Anyways nice start, maybe next time you will have more time for polishing.
That was kinda hard, but I see what you were going for! Goodbye gpu.
Unfortunately I could not play the game because it was too laggy. Also the box zoomed away from me when I tried to pick it up. The opening music and title screen were cool though!
Didn't seem like the game worked for me. Pack seemed to vanish when I picked it up, but I couldn't go through the front door with or without it. Couldn't find another way in either. Not sure what the gameplay was supposed to be, but seems like it broke for me.
Neat idea, but fixing the lag and adding ability to restart when you fail are necessary to make it playable. I know you didn't have time to configure the graphics, but turning off motion blur or adding an option to do so would be nice.
The soft shading is beautiful. On my 5120x1440 screen the view is extremely zoomed in, but it looks great if I crane my neck backwards. In addition to what others have said, the colour-based gameplay may not be accessible to all; all the houses and boxes appeared to be the same colour to me.
A really good concept!
Much like the others say, the box and house blended in together, and the ability to jump would have been really helpful as I often found myself getting stuck amongst the rubble aha!
That said, great work!
A weirdly funny little game, and I really love the weirdness. It is in many ways a bit broken, but this is what makes it fun to play. I also love the music, it fits very well to the games weirdness. Overall a fun little jam game. Well done.
The concept of this game is pretty funny! Maybe it was my machine, but while I was playing there was this constant jarring clicking sound like something was hitting the walls but I wasn't moving anything. Also the movement was really jumpy.
Took me a while to figure out what was going on and it was really difficult to know where I should put the boxes on the second level.
Thanks for making this and letting us play it!
