LD53 — Delivery

Parcel Blaster 2099 by graebor 2023-05-02T14:05:02Z

Simple, but actually very fun to play. Everything feels quite polished and nice to handle. To take it to next level there needs to be some extra aspect to the game, or maybe just more varied obstacles.

Hover Bites by Togis 2023-05-02T12:49:13Z

Great as a prototype, and interesting to manage the drones, totally could see an expansion on this! Two very minor changes could improve it a little: 1) I don't see why we have to manually specify what to pick up and deliver currently, as it seems that could be done just from picking the location 2) For the recipe menu, an image of the location would be preferrable to the names of them.

Deadwood Delivery Dash by krzymsky 2023-05-17T09:47:51Z

Positively surprised by this game! As others have said, the gun sounds are quite jarring, and none of the bandits where able to hit me, so the HP didn't really matter as collisions with walls are an insta-kill. The riding mechanics are super fun though!

Genuinely really fun game, and the music and graphics gives a nice vibe. Only thing was that the planets were so close to the edge that sometimes i dragged outside of the viewport which pauses the game. I also managed to hit two satellites with one package, though it ended up counting it as wrong :(

Rail Blazer by alanxoc3 2023-05-02T14:15:17Z

Beautiful game and also very interesting and satisfying gameplay. I think that the slow-down when going through some terrain feels quite bad, maybe some other effect would be better. I also feel like some way to figure out where resources spawn, or maybe handcrafted levels would be better as it is very RNG-based whether you will find the correct resources.

The Box Baby by Revetoon 2023-05-02T12:26:45Z

Initially, I thought the game was a bit too easy and boring, but that quickly took a turn! Great fun, though I wish it was paced a tiny bit faster

Mt. Deliverest by QwillaK 2023-05-02T13:58:21Z

Very interesting game, though I feel like the primary challenge is moving while the camera is also moving, which does not feel very fun. I also think a bit longer warning on the stones falling would be nice. The base mechanics are very fun to play with, and the whole movement feels quite nice, so I would like to see that expanded and maybe let the challenge come from hand-crafted levels where you have to think about your positioning instead.

Flooding Fisherman by JoaoPBax 2023-05-02T18:41:02Z

Very nice artstyle! Is the game infinite or did I just not go for long enough? I generally felt like I needed somewhere to put the people and fish as my boat quickly got completely overfilled making it very hard to pick up right rods, though the core gameplay loop was actually very good

@revetoon That's unfortunate. It works properly on our side, but I have also experienced similar problems with some other games, so it might just be that the site is a bit overloaded at the moment. Alternatively, you can play it in the browser at the top of the page.

Delivery Boy by waptaincaffles 2023-05-02T10:51:03Z

Great game with a nice amount of polish for a game jam. Basically every aspect delivered, from sound to graphics to gameplay

Disruptive Shipping Services by ConcurrentSquared 2023-05-02T10:22:17Z

The premise sounds quite fun, and could be fun with a lot more polish. As mentioned by others, there is quite a bit of lag and whenever you walk into the boxes they fly away and disappear. Breaking stuff is always fun, so nice attempt :)

Postage Please! by bts 2023-05-02T13:19:18Z

Brilliant take on the Papers Please genre, and overall very polished and finished game! It was a bit hard to figure out that you have to click the while its on a letter to use it, I just thought it would stamp when I put it on, and after that there were still some responsiveness issues with it, I guess due to it thinking I want to pick it up instead.
