I really liked that you found time to add a tutorial! Fun take on the theme. Game balance seems good, but there is a lot of waiting so more elements could be added so the player har something to do while waiting for crops to grow. There could be some more variety in the customer faces and the sound is kind of simplistic. Also, clicking on the tubes to check contents often did nothing - the tube remained unselected - maybe a bug? I can really see this being developed further for a very interresting game.

Engaging but maybe a little bit too easy. Are you supposed to be able to create long chains of 10+ tiles? I won the game after just a couple of minutes.

My favorite game so far. Great sound, music, graphics and mood. Very good game loop switching between combat, harvesting and upgrading. Everything looks very professional and could easily be made into a full game. Amazing job all over, you should be proud.

Nice animations! I would love to be able to move with the keyboard. Also there are some graphical problems with widescreen but no biggie!

If you open a terminal and run the bat file from there, do you get this: ERROR: JAVA_HOME is not set and no 'java' command could be found in your PATH

If so you need to install JAVA, sorry. :-( I kind of thought that was still standard on Windows.

EDIT: I have uploaded an .exe version!

@porcus-pie Thank you for your quality feedback! The souls actually do move linearly but the scaling of the sprites makes it seem like they slow down. Beat lines is a good idea! You can skip songs with the 'N' key.

Thank you anonymous reviewer! Much appreciated. That's why I enter game jams, to be enlightened. All very good points, some of which have been addressed in the post-jam version. I will keep working at the game!

@patrickrmc Thank you, you can actually choose a different control scheme in the settings for the Post-Jam version, several options are available.

@dimesto52 You are right - you will miss your hit streak but yes you can pass the level that way. I wanted to fix that but just didn't have time at the end. WHat kind of sound bug did you have? Has it been resolved in the polished version?

I actually loved this game, I can see this becoming a thing if you continue work on it. The use of colors and music is very nice, and I really enjoyed trying to find the next flower. Unfortunately the frame rate was quite low on my low end PC.

I really liked the screen effect when getting hit. Music and voice is also cool. And I like the enemy design. It was somewhat hard to figure out how to start the first wave. On the whole, not super original, but a fun little game.
