how can I play it ?
You need to supply a playable game not just the source code
We know ð *Someone* hit "publish" a bit too early ð
I published the game before the playable games were available :) I hope you enjoy it now that the game it there!
Excellent soundtrack that pumps up the game to another level - Well worth a download just for the music and sound FX experience! Who the hell reads credits? Extra appreciation for linux build.
Was able to collect only 34 score, maps with high number of turns are very hard. I really like the soundrack.
what a funny game! the "hand made" SFX were entertaining. at first i thought part of the challenge was to stay on the path, but it seems like the car is locked in, which makes the game easier, but maybe less of an interesting challenge.
i think you need a stronger indication of the fact that there are multiple levels, and what level you are currently on. it just says "3, 2, 1" and "lap X/3", so i wasn't even sure i was progressing until i noticed the course was different. maybe say "Course X, Lap Y/3"
often, it seems like the wheat spawns with the sprite facing the wrong angle, when the car actually is right next to it (maybe you're spawning them facing the camera's current angle?) here are some examples, see how the sprite is just a pixely line? i managed to get on the score board, though i don't think i did well. after a while i purposely hit a stump to see what would happen, since hitting the chickens was so funny. i was surprised that it straight-up ended my game. maybe be a little more clear that stumps are certain death? @sakura-magika those wheats kept giving us problems with them facing the wrong way :) You are correct that they should all face the right way :D The level indicator would have been a great idea! We definitely had tunnel vision on that one, being so aware for ourselves that it's a new level you forget that others might not see it that way! Happy to hear you liked it :D
Those turns are really sharp ha! Liked it though, the graphics are very appealing
Love the voiceover sounds. Background is a quite trippy and unique. I wasn't sure what's the difference between chickens and crops for example, tho I enjoyed them having different sounds.
Cool game! Love the audio and the planets flying in a fisheye view.
I thought the space racing should be harvesting some meteors or dark matter nebula or space dazzling fairies but got chicken and crops.ðĪŠ
Fun game I loved the music and the Planet reminded me of the Lego Classic Space Logo so bonus points for that
The music is very catchy, the artwork is very original, and it's the first time I've enjoyed death music so much.
However, the turning system is a bit odd, it took me a long time to learn that chickens cannot be hit, and that the barricades are not very visible, and that in some places the collectables and chickens are not very visible and are only the size of a piece.
An illustration to indicate which ones are collectible, and an increase in the size of the collectibles would help a lot.
Very fun game and I really liked the sound effects. I think it would be a lot more intense if you could fall off the map though.
Great game!
Yeah! Love that we have a Kart game in the Jam. Great music also.
Kart games are my bread and butter. Love this. I think the "yeah!" gets annoying roughly instantly even though it's funny. You opted out of humor?? Love the aesthetics and the way the track and the environment move is trippy. Nice submission!
Music: Awesome
Theme: Hilarious
Sound: Yeah!!
I really loved the 2nd tracks music. I wish the collectibles were a little bigger so I can see what they are better. Making sharp turns was a bit hard. Great work!!
