Maybe the camera should be a lil' bit higher but maybe the game would be too easy then. The fixed angle is good for people not used to 3D games.

Graphics are really nice. But the fixed camera is very frustrating.
Graphics are great, and feels very peaceful, did you make the models yourself? I do think this entry would be improved drastically by a moving camera as well.
Very nice graphics and vibe in general. The camera needs a bit of work, either angled a bit more so that it looks more down, or just movable by the player. I would also like to have seen something extra gameplay wise to spice it up a bit more. Maybe you need to avoid crows by hiding in the grass or something.
Well done :)
I couldn't find the last acorn, but overall I think the game is okay. Maybe you could have added another mechanic to it, since it's very simple and kinda repetitive, but you made this all yourself, so that's already impressive!
I like the graphics very much, especially the squirrel and the animations are impressive. I like the fixed camera as that is the challenge in this game, I think. Only thing that annoyed me was when you go all the way down and the camera view is blocked by the fence.
Wasn't close at all..

With this camera angle, most of the time I watched shifting grass. Controllable camera height and direction would fit better to this game. Also playing a squirrel in a game like this it would be fun to climb up and jump off the trees. Peaceful environment and a very sweet character.
What a cute squirrel! Great graphics and cool gameplay <3
Nice graphics! Sometimes it was hard to see the squirrel behind the grass, and it would be nice to be able to rotate the camera. In the end I got 10 acorns in 109 seconds
Unusal game with a fixed camera, but I liked that about it! It ended up adding a certain challenge and edge... I can see this being a very competetive game if I introduced it to my friends. My high score wasn't the best but I will return to try some more. I hope you make more games in the future, it would be cool to see something like this from you again
Good entry! I didn't manage to get the last one  As others have said the camera could use some work, and I found the run sounds to be a little on my nerves at the end. Otherwise I enjoyed it  Keep on making games!
Cute game! I saw a few people mentioning the camera but I actually thought it created more of a unique experience having it fixed the way it was. I really liked the ambient background chirping sounds - it made me feel like I was in a garden in spring!
+1 to the comments about the fixed camera, though I do realize that it made the challenge what it is. Aside from that, it worked great and was a very pleasant mood after all these soul harvesting grim reaper games
I find your game very nice and the graphics especially are very curated.
The fixed camera give rise to an interesting mechanics but I'm not completely sure that it works as it is. Maybe you could have more cameras fixed around the level as if were surveillance cameras and you have to play using such camera views.
One rough edge of the current implementation is that if the camera goes outside the fence you are unable to see what happens. I also suggest to add some variation to the running sound.
Great work though!
I like how the game looks. I would like the camera to be behind the squirrel, I think it would improve the gameplay feel a bit. Regardless, good job!
awesome little game! the vibes! Great job, loved the feel that you went for. Was just a nice relaxing game. Great job! squirrel.png
Great looking game and I thought that the gameplay fit the theme very well. I would have liked a less fixed camera angle, or at least the ability to rotate the camera at the low angle, especially when acorns were close to the fence or trees. While I was playing I was unable to tell if all 10 acorns were on the map or if I was going to need to go back and re-check the areas that I already found acorns in. Either way I think works well for the game, but I would have liked to know. Overall great job!
