LD53 — Delivery

RUCHKI by katamary 2023-05-02T16:20:47Z

Really cute and polished game, perfectly fits the theme! A bit too challenging maybe (though I seldom play games of this type so it may be my issue) - but I already see it was partially because of the timespan and I guess it may be hard to finetune this kind of stuff without further playtesting by different people.

Space loader Tim 49 by thetatautau 2023-05-02T16:24:37Z

I really like the game! Simple and minimalistic game with fun narrative, perfectly fits the theme. Impressive art style consistency, really good and well-implemented choice for the event!

Delivery Expedition by filgreen3 2023-05-04T07:54:49Z

Realy enjoyable puzzle game! I like how new elements are introdused as player progress through the levels, and art style is quite solid. As others mentioned, camera may use some improvements and I expected some elements like tile with a package disappear after interaction - but overall it felt like a polished project and all of the levels were fun to complete.

DeliverEgg by Tricky_Fat_Cat 2023-05-02T18:17:37Z

Really impressive in terms of scale for a jam timespan! Well-designed levels with variety of different obstacles, enemies and unique situations. I encountered small issues here and there like water flickering or missing sound when you land on an enemy, or enemies on a baseball field ignoring the player and looking at the walls - but these are just minor things in comparison with a complete well-made game here.

Robin Hood Christmas by cavedens 2023-05-02T17:45:26Z

It's a well-made little game! Gameplay loop is already decent, and I can only suggest maybe play with movement speed, guards AI and player field of view to see how it can affect gameplay. Maybe the camera can shift slightly in player movement direction so he can spot guards more easily sometimes. Overall I like how the guards behaved - it felt almost unpredictable when they patroled gaps between buildings.

Apocalypse Express by Cosmo8 2023-05-02T17:22:29Z

Truly impressive! This is not only a polised game with a good gameplay - it manage to deliver quite a few surprises! I really enjoyed the second part of the trip, as well as enemy variety and chosen artstyle overall.

The Beer Street by Kreshi 2023-05-03T12:13:22Z

Fun game indeed! I like how it encourages slower pace and precision - it felt like the discipline is a key to success. Also congrats on making a polished and complete game during such a short event! Lighting is really atmospheric as well.

Togo by Merin Car Trunk Key 2023-05-04T07:13:04Z

The game is cool and have a solid idea behind it, with some amount of polish it may turn into a really great experience! My only issue was with the fact that I didn't understand how stats work and what is the best option to choose in the random events during the run - maybe some exposed stats could help with this. Other than this, it was already an enjoyable game!

Deep Sands Delivery by Rjdrag 2023-05-02T20:27:38Z

The game have quite an atmosphere! Gameplay loop is really decent and I enjoyed the game a lot. I was a bit confused by the map as it doesn't show player's current position (at least I didn't see it) and conections between outposts, but after I started to pay attention it stoped being a problem.

Ensomniac by WigHz 2023-05-02T16:53:58Z

Really impressive submission, I enjoyed playing tha game a lot! I like how you inverted the theme by having the player to intercept packages instead of delivering them. Gameplay felt really good and quite balanced in terms of having fun but be reasonably challenged.

@wighz Thank you! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the game, and I totally agree with your points. I'll have a lot to think about UI and accessibility for this game, though I'm still happy that I managed to try this consept out during the event)

CQB drone trials by Tnnv 2023-05-02T16:38:28Z

@cosmo8 Thank you for the feedback! I see what you mean with machine gun, that's my fault) RNG wasn't intended, it supposed to be just a decorative shots spread - but I see how it can affect correct puzzle solituion in it's current implementation.

CQB drone trials by Tnnv 2023-05-02T16:41:53Z

@cavedens Thank you! I was actually planning more of the decstruction in terms of visuals and effects, and hopefully implement this some time. My ideas included tables and shelves with some boxes or stuff affected by machinegun shots, and rocket explosion meand to be really devastating) But in this 48 hours I managed to implement only critical gameplay - but it still was a cool experience!

CQB drone trials by Tnnv 2023-05-02T19:23:51Z

@rjdrag Thank you for such a positive feedback! Cool idea about marking suspected enemy locations by the player, I agree that it's worth implementing.

CQB drone trials by Tnnv 2023-05-02T19:55:41Z

@kreshi Thank you! I actually have a lot of ideas for the game (new drone modules, different levels etc.) and hope it may turn into a decent puzzle experience at some point =)

CQB drone trials by Tnnv 2023-05-03T11:25:28Z

@chucks-feed-and-seed Thank you, that's really pleasant to hear! I also hope to publish much more polished and developed project some time in the future.

CQB drone trials by Tnnv 2023-05-03T16:04:54Z

@filgreen3 Thanks!

@profugo-barbatus, @mastoast, @pincushion, @snakemuho Thank you a lot for feedback! I'm really happy that you like the game. Saving action queue is a good idea - I didn't realise that myself but now when you mention this it is making sense to me. Hostages are indeed underused in current levels - the only way to hurt them is to use the rocket, but I'm planning better integrate them into puzzles further.

LD55 — Summoning

Luminaries by superjai 2024-04-16T17:31:31Z

Awesome game! At first I didn't understand the mechanics despite the help texts, but after I figured it out the game really shined! It's really impressive how you was able to implement such a solid progression in a jam game format!

Conjuweave by optimatica 2024-04-16T20:00:10Z

Very clean and nice-looking game! UI interaction and sounds fell really nice. After some experementation it becomes clear how things work and it is pretty satisfying to make effective combinations. I can also see how the idea can be expanded with modular creature designs representing different strengths of a creature and varying enemy types.

Woodland Rituals by Kilian BAPTENDIER 2024-04-16T20:27:22Z

Very well executed for such a short time period! Everything nicely fits together and create a pleasant experience.

Realm of Elementals by negdo 2024-04-16T19:48:13Z

I like the idea and world design. It's quite unique and original!

Summondiver by TheCze 2024-04-16T20:45:00Z

Nice game! Summoning mechanic is pretty cool and feels really nice, and directional fireballs despite feeling a bit wierd add some interesting tactical aspect. I also like how this movement patterns become more intuitive over time!

Necrohold by Tricky_Fat_Cat 2024-04-16T16:46:03Z

Really nice game! Visuals are quite atmospheric and after you figure out game mechanics the game plays really well! Like others mentioned UX/UI may have some improvement, but for the game jam it is an impressive work!

Over Scoped by blank_3D 2024-04-16T19:30:52Z

Really fun concept! I believe with some tweaking and balancing even random recipes could work. Not a finished game indeed, but I like the idea and basic implementation) It could have been a nice game!

Whiskers & Wings The Great Mouse Hunt by anaastaska 2024-04-16T12:39:16Z

Really charming game! I hope you continue developing it, keeping the mood and artstyle and iterating on assets quality (such as character animations etc). Tweaking texture sizes and excluding unused assets should help with build size, in my practice such a game in Unreal can occupy several hundreds megabites total. But it can be comfortably done after the jam, as for now - I think it is great job!

Grave Mistake by Suksu 2024-04-16T11:22:30Z

Pretty fun! Nice to see a detailed tutorial and solid core mechanic, which fits game nicely due to good balancing. Artstyle and audio are also a good fit!

Match With Your Demon ! by Maxime Delansay 2024-04-16T09:01:09Z

Really fun! Unfortunately I didn't understand how to actually get the info about the human we matching with daemon, but the idea, artstyle and wrighting are awesome!
