Hey! Thanks for showing us your game! Here's video from the stream. (Check the description for when Switcheroo starts) https://youtu.be/_ypAI4tkaho
Loved this game, especially the art and music! The "plaid" effect was so sick. I liked how the mechanics took a little bit of figuring out but once I got it I was able to do pretty well. Such a cute fun game!

What a clever interpretation of the theme, as well as main mechanic! Love when pixel art games give spooky/unsettling vibes. The sound was somehow creepy and funny at the same time?? The ending was unexpected and terrifying. Loved it.

This was such a fun game. I found it a bit difficult to release the papers onto the mailboxes but I was able to somewhat get the hang of it. Juggling was fun by itself without even worrying about delivering the papers. Graphics and sound were delightful. Overall, sick game

I spent like fifteen minutes just zooming and zipping around before I remembered that there's a game baked into the thing. The audio/visual presentation is so well done, movement feels great, it's impressive that this is a jam game. So sick

A Compo Oregon Trail-like? You kidding me???? This was so sick. I had a blast with it given that my chat and I had already established some character lore for our go-to Oregon Trail party. I wish I had time for more playthroughs, I didn't play conservatively enough so my party didn't get the serum to Nome on time (and poor Jzeekle died in vain) Also, for a second there I thought there might have been a cosmic horror thing going on, which would have been sick and even though it didn't happen the fact that the thought got put into my head was really cool.

I had a great time playing this on stream! It was fun figuring out the path through each stage. I wish there were more levels but it's understandable that it's a jam game. You did a great job tuning the movement values to match Celeste, it really feels great to play. Thanks!

This game was sick! I had a great time playing it. The movement and shooting felt great, and I'm sure with some practice you could master the slide and find the most optimal route the level. I did have a very hard time getting the papers to land in the little squares, so I would say maybe make them bigger or remove them completely and just have the mailboxes. The sound and visuals were great. Thanks for bringing it to the stream for us to play!

This game was so sick. Figuring out how to best control the car was cool, but honestly it was pretty fun to just not be able to control the thing and smash into buildings and fly off the road. It made me laugh (cuz itsboats) so that was cool too. Loved how there was no time limit so you can just zoom around at your leisure. Sick

What a great game! I loved the art (especially the color palette,) the audio, just the overall vibe was sick. The "aha" moment when you figure out how to solve the puzzles was great. Nice job!!

Loved this game. Great interpretation of the theme, the jokes were genuinely funny, and the art and sound (especially the voices) really helps sell the whole vibe. It's pretty tough but I like that you don't get a game over if you miss a bunch of beats (like in other rhythm games), you just don't get as high of a score.

This game has everything I love in video games: bullets, explosions, speed, humor... what a blast. The final gameplay sequence was such a fun and exciting twist. The difficulty was expertly tuned, which is always a challenge when it comes to jam games. Great work!!

Really enjoyed this game!! Gave me some old school "Spy Hunter" vibes. Loved the music and art. Controlling the car took a bit of getting used to but once it clicked I was able to hit a flow state a couple times. Thanks for bringing it to show us and play on stream!!

@arya-s The player bullets are actually the same scale as the rest (8x8 on a total 256x192 res), it's actually the enemy bullets that are scaled up. But I'll give you that the Akira slide scaling is weird, I would have rather had individual sprites to swap between but time was of the essence. Anyway thanks for the kind words!!
@cheesepencil I'll see if I can tonight!
This game was really fun! I loved the cute lil hat on the bat. I thought it was neat how flapping the wings activates the sonar, getting a lot of milage out of just one button press. It was a bit difficult to see the goals from underneath them, I think having some lighting for them similar to how they look from above would have helped a bit. Overall great work!!

Despite me being utter trash at this game, the adorable graphics and sounds and novel idea kept me playing! Once I figured out how to manipulate the seals and penguins I got a bit better at it, but admittedly not by much lol. And of course I gotta show love to a fellow Pico 8 dev!!! Great stuff!!
Had a great time playing this on stream! The addition of bigger tetris pieces really messes with you, and having to plan ahead to make sure you will have a path through the maze is a great mechanic. Nice work!
Cool little Zachtronics inspired game! Took a bit of time to figure out how the game worked but once I did I was able to have some fun with it. Overall I feel that the conveyance in the game could have been a bit better, and the difficulty curve is pretty steep, but very impressive to have implemented the systems in the game in such a short amount of time. Nice work, thanks for bringing it to the stream!
Excellent game! Incredible art with a very unique system involving discarding cards from your hand rather than drawing new ones. Cool emergent combos which is very impressive for a jam game. Nice work!!
I love me a good head to head game! And especially impressive that you pulled it off on Pico 8. Had a good time, thanks for bringing it by the stream!
Absolutely loved this. Incredibly unique concept and executed flawlessly. Great art that was simultaneously cute and creepy. Had a blast playing this on stream! Thanks for bringing it by to show me!
Once I figured out I had to lead my shots based on the radar pings this game went from a 2 to a 10. Music absolutely slams, gameplay was a decent challenge, and dodging enemy attacks and landing hits on enemies was INCREDIBLY satisfying. Excellent work! Thanks for bringing it to the stream!
This was such a great time. Sorry I got so heated I hope I didn't come off as rude!! I'm looking forward to giving the post jam version a shot when I get some time for it!
I liked the idea behind this, however I do think the execution could be improved. It seemed to me that by the time you realize that you're walking into a monster, it's too late. I would have liked the audio cues to happen sooner to give the player enough time to react. That said, congrats on making your game! I look forward to seeing you in future jams!
Had a great time with this one on stream! As many have stated, it's very impressive that the entire game is voiced. There was a lot of dialog! The events were funny and characters manage to have a lot of personality despite the very limited interactions the player has with them. Great work!!
Another killer multiplayer game from Kuviman! The game runs astonishingly smoothly and is lots of fun. The fact that you can still engage with the game after you die is awesome too (and hilarious) Good stuff!
Fantastic arcadey driving game! The driving and drifting feel great and the graphics evoked the 32 bit era. The course was impressively packed into a parking garage. The checkpointing system unfortunately makes some fun skips unusable, but other than that I have no complaints. Nice work!
Very fun game! Movement and shooting was good, and the graphics were nice and glowy, but I did feel as though there could have been a bit more feedback when the player gets hit. The first few times I died was because I didn't even realize that I was being hit in the first place. Also, the hitboxes for both player and enemy seem a bit big. But those are nitpicks! Overall the game was fun and presentation was good. Thanks for bringing it by the stream for me to play!
"Hey let's just go ahead and make a 1v1 competitive game with matchmaking and rollback, nbd" Incredibly impressive work for a jam game. Needs to be a full release. Thanks for playing with me on stream!
Nice work once again! Didn't have enough time to get through the game on normal mode, but I did complete it on easy in order to see the ending. (worth it)
This was a great little puzzle game with a nice vibe! It's fun planning out your economy and making decisions while considering both short and long term outcomes. Good stuff!
Incredibly fun and polished game. The tutorialization is equal parts effective and hilarious. Squashing enemies is super satisfying and it's impressive how much enemy variety there is in such a tight package. Thanks for bringing it to the stream!!
You ever play a game and think to yourself, "Whoever made this thing took a peek into my brain and designed it specifically tailored to my tastes and needs as a gamer"? Yeah this thing rips
Fun game with great 16 bit era retro graphics! It was a bit frustrating how brambles could respawn right on the player character. Burning through big stacks of brambles was very satisfying. Nice job!
Very unique and interesting "Risk-like" with a couple novel twists! Unfortunately a game-breaking bug at the end of the game kept me from seeing whether my strat would have led to victory, but I was having a great time up until that point. Very impressive work! Thanks for showing us on stream!
Despite the fact that I basically broke the game with a meme build and became an unstoppable god, I had a great time with this one. Filling the screen with magic missiles was hella satisfying. And you gotta love the trademark boats aesthetic. Fun game
Fun game! Plowing through zombies was very satisfying. Upgrades felt impactful, and overall the game was short, sweet, and didn't overstay its welcome. Nice work! Thanks for showing us!
Another banger from Stiikbug!! Adorable visuals and a nice gameplay mechanic. The physics allow for fun things like bouncing the ball up a bit. Cool stuff!
I wish I could give this game ten stars for mood. Easily some of the best atmosphere I've seen not just in jam games but in any game. Also one of the best interpretations of the theme I've seen so far this jam. Despite some minor criticisms I have of the game such as the movement of the character, I consider this a must-play.
Had a good time with this one on stream! Definitely in the "meme" category, but not to a fault. The game was short and worth a chuckle, with cute Gameboy-esque graphics. Nice work!
Great "WarioWare" like! Impressive that you pulled this off in 72 hours. The only minigame I disliked was the one that required you to shoot the asteroids, I don't like W being the key for shoot and it seemed way harder than the rest. Otherwise very fun game that I enjoyed multiple plays of! Thanks for bringing it to the stream!!
@strato You might even say I should limit the space
@feor I'll be honest I don't even know what my high score is lol I didn't have much time to go for a high score. Glad you enjoyed it, thanks so much for playing!
@blue-pin-studio thank you so much for the very kind words!!
@rincs as stated on your stream last night, that is now canonically what those enemies are. ewwwwwww
Fun game! I wish the sword was faster and a bit more clear as to where exactly it was hitting. Otherwise nice work!
Fun little speedrunning game! Enjoyed playing it on stream. I would like to see a jump input buffer and coyote time but I know that's a lot to ask for in a jam setting lol. "Jump! Jump! Juuuuump!" Cute art and sounds! Nice work
Played this on stream with a friend, and can emphatically say that this is an A+ co-op experience. People in my chat were saying that they could see it as a full release on Switch, and I agree. The art was adorable and the fun is in how deceptively challenging it is to manipulate the objects within the limited space. Excellent work!!
Very neat idea with a cool and unique gameplay mechanic! I did find it very difficult to input the unlock pattern while moving to avoid the enemies. Loved the creepy vibes and atmosphere. Nice work!
Excellent cute and cozy game that also manages to be a bit frantic and high-pressure. The part where you squish the food into juice was really fun and satisfying. I did have a bit of trouble getting the watering can to work, I think I figured it out at the end but it was hard to tell if it was actually helping grow my crops faster. Great work, thanks for showing us on stream!
Very frantic game with a terrifying vibe! Definitely a great interpretation of the theme. I think the difficulty curve was maybe a bit too high given the relative complexity of the controls but I do think it adds to the pressure of the game. Nice work!
Had a great time playing this on stream! I had to zoom in a bit to be able to see where I was in the maze. Jumping felt great and the challenge level seemed perfect for a jam game. Nice work!
