Don't Tell HR! by bongo227 2023-10-03T04:59:50Z
There wasn't any place to tell me the controls or how to play, all I knew was to run around and hope I encounter someone. Other than that it's a pretty fun concept

Really funny and a great take on the theme
Tower defense just makes so much sense for this theme
Really fun game, although it makes me wonder what part of my personality is a bullet upgrade?
A bit buggy here and there but as far as an escape room goes it was well done
A really silly game that actually gets pretty complex and hectic as time goes on

As someone who went insane for Rumble VR and religiously watches Avatar. I couldn't be more excited for this game. I usually don't download jam games for safety reasons but I had to for this one
A fantastic game visually and does a really good job at adapting the theme. As well as a really somber game, I love the atmosphere! Great work!
I am THE Mr. Bubbles, really cute game and it controls surprisingly well!
The game is unfortunately buggy and gives no clear indication that you clicked on anything. It also doesn't give any feedback on what you clicked so there's no real direction in what to do. Other than that it's a basic match game, fine for a first jam submission but hard press to believe that it was made by someone who knows what they're doing
The game is difficult but really rewarding, amazing job!
Retro Warioware! I'm a huge fan of it!
Not loading on Ludem Dare website but is loading on Itch.IO
10/10 would save old ladies again
I saw this on Twitter and it looked really fun! After playing I can confirm that the game is really good!
THIS GAME IS SO CUTE I'M GOING TO EXPLODE
The controls feel a bit stiff since you can only attack when you're moving but it looks really nice and the overall ambiance brings it all together
I MUST MOP! But seriously! Brilliant game! I love it so much and it's so cute!
10/10 felt like doing actual homework
Really funny take on the theme of Limited Space
This is so fun! We made practically the same game! As you no doubt already know your game could have been vastly improved by adding more upgrades rather than just the one. I know from the responses to my game that this is a very strong concept and I love how you still took it in a different direction from mine! Amazing!
It's a really interesting concept and reminds me of something that I used to play on poptropica or other old browser games like that. I unfortunately don't see a lot of ways it could grow from here but that may be the point, just something fun you worked on! Great job!
Can confirm, this happened to me
The game is so fun! It's really hard to put down, I really love the rubberhose style of animation and design. I think there's a lot of ways this game could grow. Maybe more enemies to defend against, more ways to defend, trickier and trickier situations. Lots of potential! Amazing job!
It was a cute little game, I just wish it had an actual end state rather than getting locked on staring at the mans face for all eternity. Especially since there's no pause or quit button
It's a super interesting concept with lots of room for speedrunning potential, it was a lot more difficult than I was first giving it credit for! A bit buggy at times but when it played well it played very well. Drilly is super cute despite the rest of the art kind of lacking, the simplicity works well for the overall style however, well done!
This reminds me of a flash version of DownWell! Good job!
What a cute little game! My girlfriend and I had a ton of fun running around on this one!
Unfortunately your HTML build doesn't work but your zip does, a quick little fix and more people would be willing to try your game! Thankfully I can say that it's pretty decent nonetheless! I can tell you worked really hard on it!
CUTE CUTE CUTE! That's all I can say about this game and the art! Keep it up
Crazy how you did this much in a single weekend! Good job!
As someone who has played A Game About Digging A Hole, you did a great job at recreating the core features of the game. The brief commentary on the Video Game hemisphere is pretty apt too. The thing I struggled with was a reason to keep playing this game as the money you got wasn't very much and the mining drill was too darned expensive. I also got stuck once I passed the first underground room as there was a bit of dirt that refused to be dug up. Other than that great job!
Unfortunately I can only rate on Innovation as you were doing something unique and interesting. I don't have access to the tools required to play your game but from the readme it's something that has to be experienced. Perhaps you can upload a video of you playing it for the people who can't?
I am ant, I dig hole, I get eaten. Lift lift lift lift
What a mind boggling adventure! A few bugs but what can you do when you're messing with physics? Good job!
What a fun little game! The aesthetic is really good and kept me wanting to play more and more!
For a first game it's a fantastic step in the right direction! You show good knowledge of game interactions as well as witty writing! If there were more to do in the game other than press E and read then this would be a wonderful game! Keep it up!
Terrifying! No thanks!!! (good game make more)
It's a really cute game and shows how much effort you put into it! It has a ton of atmosphere
Made sure that pizza was EXTRA spicy! Good game!
Fantastic art!! You did this all in a single weekend?
@melonboy I was hoping to add more zones but due to poor time management I couldn't, there are rare shiny variants though that are quite a challenge to catch!
@verttixpertti double down and add dark souls boss music when you try to catch a shiny (I already tuned the catch speed of all shiny fish so it should be made easier once the jam is over)
Catching multiple of the same type of fish actually gives you a bonus multiplier to the value that fish gives, if a goldfish gives a value of 2, then catching 5 doubles it to 4 and so on! @prvaak
It's a very cool game! The graphics are nice and the audio is great!
This is such a cute game with an interesting concept! A little bit difficult but once you get the hang of it you can quickly make it through. Great job!
What a fun top down shooter! I wasn't expecting the mass array of lasers but it was so satisfying
A good start, I get the premise but it's in need of work
You should be able to do a reupload on your game since the link doesn't work, they don't allow large changes but bug fixes should be a-ok
What a fun little game, I can see the heavy inspiration from Inscryption. While I thought the theme was semi missing I appreciate the "depth" of the card game you were able to make
Fish devs! Your game is really fun, I enjoy learning the difference between the real and fake fish! It gets a bit hectic later on which I wasn't expecting, really keeps you on your toes! Good job!
Like a super stressful version of mining in the Stardew Valley caves! I died a LOT!
You did a great job! This is something that could be continued after the jam! You should do just that!
Love love LOVE the art!
I was confused at the pong, the space invaders baffled me, Sudoku BROKE me
I wasn't expecting an undertale style dodge for my life moment on my way down and that first squid jumpscared me
It took me a few tries but I got it! It reminds me of this arcade game I used to play!
It's an overall great game, it's a bit difficult in a way that doesn't feel intentional but also in a way where that difficulty added to my overall enjoyment. I greatly enjoy games that one may consider to be "rage games" lol You should definitely continue to work on this once the jam is over
Not the little bums!!!!!!
Super interesting concept! It's a great first game
